Hi.
Due to the massive amount of manga and me not being that familiar to this whole thing, I am having a really hard time picking a new manga.
These are the ones i have read so far: (In order.)
One piece: First manga I ever read, great plot, unique characters, balanced "power levels", no crappy filler arcs.
Dragon ball: Same thing over and over again. Long boring fights, boring characters and terrible humor. Only good thing was the early training and the first tournament.
Berserk:Truly epic manga, love the atmosphere, the gore and the violence.
Naruto: Terrrrrible manga, every single character feels the same and the fighting sucks. It was okay in the begining when they were doing those jobs as a group, but thenβ¦
Vagabond: Similar reasons as with Berserk just a little worse in every sence.
Historys strongest disciple Kenichi: Not really comparable to Berserk and One piece but I always enjoy reading it and the mix of personalities are very lovable.
Fairy tail: The first arcs were amazing, I was sure it was going to be a new favorite but then that red-haired sasuke-like guy came. Still enjoy it though.
What i like:
My ideal manga would be something like a mature version of one piece.
I really enjoy those couple of chapters between the arcs and seeing the characters in their ordinary state. Something thats also nice is when there is some kind of assignement or job involved. Like in the early stage of Fairy Tale and Naruto. Seeing the training and devlopment of the main characters. Bounty hunting maybe?
What i dont like: When the majority of the main characters are really young, like 15-. Long boring arcs where evil dudes comes out of nowhere and tries to take over the world. When everyone looks like the typical manga character. (Dragon ball-type hair in weirdo colours.)
Any ideas? I prefer manga before anime, but you never know so feel free to suggest one if it is really great.
(Grammar might suck, not my main language.)
