I'm trying to find a book I read when I was a kid. It's a comic book style book about an elderly couple living in the English (I think) countryside. I think the book was an anti-war or anti-nuclear book because the story is about the couple when an atomic bomb or something goes off, because a major war started. The couple isn't too concerned at first and there's lots of misconceptions about the dangers the bomb caused.
Anyways the rest of the book is about the couple slowly dying of radiation poisoning and they both die in the end.
I remember the art style being very cute and colored with warm and pretty pastel sort of colors. The elderly couple was short and round and I think that was due to the art style. I don't think it's quite a little kid's book, maybe for middle schoolers or around highschool??
Also I THINK (but I'm probably wrong) that the word "wind" was in the title. Gah. Anyways thanks for any help.
