So yeah, nothing gets me nostalgic like an old game…especially a game I was frickin' obsessed with as a kid. However, the first LEGO Island was made in 1997 and I've got a Windows 7 laptop, so the problem there is obvious. I've done a great amount of searching online and used a great many programs in an attempt to get it to run but it simply won't. Has anyone gotten this game to work on windows 7? if not this game than any other old pc games?

Sorry I don´t have an answer for you, as far as I know, old games never work on my computer, but I was also obsessed with that game as a kid xD I wonder if I still have it…

yeah, as awesome a game as that is, it needs its own thread.

You need a disc or iso of the previous version of windows you want to run, set parameters such as the amount of virtual ram to use and disk space, and then install a virtual windows. Once done it will run as if you are using that version of windows.

there's no way I can get any of that for free, is there? I do know how to work iso stuff but how could i find one for a previous version of windows without throwing any money down? Would they charge for a previous version?
