this a text i wrote some time ago
I want your opinions…
- I went to the cinema today to see Toy Story 3 and I realized that the things of old times are always drifting in sequences or remakes
it's good or bad ?
For me it is indifferent ,but to the world I think it would be a bit banal to depend on these narrow paths to profit from our thirst of nostalgic
that we can only review our childhood (or maybe even kill this cursed and traumatized child who lives in us? ).
With these silly movies that you watch after spending some 10 years that saw the "firstborn".
In the end i realize that nothing was being added,
only uprisings of the kind "I remember that" "great" !!!!" " EPIC !!!!" "My Childhood was sooooooo awesome"
is fear to grow ? (a Peter Pan syndrome entrenched?). No.. is only the need to review a taste of yesteryear.
recalling how it felt easier in its infancy and therefore earn Old things new
Fred Astaire > Michael Jackson > NON Ecziste
or any of the shounen manga in old times wins the current ones,
a mania that we have to say is awesome (our relic).
how the future will be? with this habit of only remembering the past and say " my childhood was Epic (it is true or not).
We do not generate the heirs of such Awesomenes,
the example of Michael Jackson is one of them,it will make one year that he died and someone has yet to emerged to be the king of pop (Life has stuff that has no replacement). ... and however much the world changes,
and civilizations are born and live with new philosophies and cultures that are introduced in an overwhelming speed that things are "gods" cultural (perfection) because they are unshakable and indisputable facts "do not care if it's EPIC, if it sells itself, is good"
this cliché is super common,in any "idle mind is not" ,this might be a phrase impregnated with the "pungent" smell of capitalism, but.
do not blame the system .. because Elvis Presley,King of Rock = (position keeping today) existed in the time that capitalism was far more exposed than today and he did a tremendous sucess.
Just like M. Jackson, because previously only the best could illustrate the word EPIC, not like today that this sudden change in "best" in every cultural sector, already in the future, not one of those one hit wonders that are hailed as the salvation of the global culture will be immortalized neither in a museum, or in our memories.
Will be only data (information) and cumulative disposable (yes it soon - will soon have something that will be better that this information "new" now obsolete, predominantly in the media) all the fault of the supremacy of the culture of mass.
according to my classroom the "Registration Information" (UNIFAI-SP) has seven types of cultures (but let's just focus 3)
mass culture (AKA =twitter, twilight)
the high culture (AKA = Bach.Mozart.Beethoven.Astro Boy, Camões)
the culture edge (AKA = Coffin joe, mime, a pact with demons, graphite)
through the culture of his ways mass.
it spread this wide load of useless information (citing the heroes of yesteryear and even pretending to be the bastard children of old) for us, that absorb and exchanged with other people.
Always making comparisons like Albert Camus ONWS Stephenie Meyer to show our culture and that the former always wins the new
But the "news" are not here to EPIC, he's here to sell and be "success" of time no matter what time of the media.
So if the mass culture is not here to make new heroes, and high culture only serves to "point out" the old EPICNESS. where edge culture do ?
Well this "freak Culture" as their name says is on the border between what is being learned and what is to be massive, with only a small niche as a devout and true bearers of those cultures.
Unfortunately not a hero comes from this type of culture, too, because since its cycle of repercussion is small or the number of people who accept as true information (and not as social reverie) is rare. Is not seen (neither good nor bad) by the media, that way..not coming to the attention of the masses.
By doing so our own "top" line item in each culture.
If these cultures is based too much edge and not having the supreme representative of the omnipresent perfection of music, literature, art, beauty, among other sectors.
