the oldest recorded religion has the closest chance of being right .
This doesn't make sense.
More than Aizen did though.
Here ,this is just a list of cold Narakas
Arbuda – the "blister" Naraka. This is a dark, frozen plain surrounded by icy mountains and continually swept by blizzards. Inhabitants of this world arise fully grown and abide life-long naked and alone, while the cold raises blisters upon their bodies. The length of life in this Naraka is said to be the time it would take to empty a barrel of sesame seed if one only took out a single seed every hundred years.
Nirarbuda – the "burst blister" Naraka. This Naraka is even colder than the one above, and here the blisters burst open, leaving the beings' bodies covered with frozen blood and pus.
Aṭaṭa – the Naraka of shivering. Here the beings shiver in the cold, making an aṭ-aṭ-aṭ sound with their mouths.
Hahava – the Naraka of lamentation. Here the beings lament in the cold, going ha, ho in pain.
Huhuva – the Naraka of chattering teeth. Here the beings shiver as their teeth chatter, making the sound hu, hu.
Utpala – the "blue lotus" Naraka. Here the intense cold makes the skin turn blue like the color of an utpala waterlily.
Padma – the "lotus" Naraka. In this Naraka the blizzard cracks open the frozen skin leaving one raw and bloody.
Mahāpadma – the "great lotus" Naraka. Here the whole body cracks into pieces and the internal organs are exposed to the cold and they also crack.
Each lifetime in these Narakas is twenty times the length of the one before it.
Just the first , the base Naraka , has a life expectancy to be as long as "the time it would take to empty a barrel of sesame seed if one only took out a single seed every hundred years"
And every succeeding one is TWENTY times the previous .
@ Sea : I believe that should there have been any divine powers that created the world , they would most likely be more acurately recorded in the most ancient religious records .
Kinda like Paul of Tarsus and his interpretation of the life of Jesus , although he most likely never met him , so it has been citicised as untrustworthy by many , especialy given Paul's incredible sexist hatred for women (fueled most likely by his homosexuality acording to some sources)
Why the fuck are we talking about religion?!
Religion sucks!
I don't give a shit who I offend… unless God is religious.
Hahaha what you planned to become a monk Sea, that explains a lot :p

Because Bleach is so deep, discussing it leads to philosophy and religion.

When I was a child, I hung around pretty much with monks.

You will know the answer once you are dead.
I am so looking forward to it.

Because Aizen planned it.
Just demonstrating that Budhist do have a hell , unlike someone said and while it is not eternal , it is as close to never ending as they get .
And there are stil the hot Narakas I didn't even list .
Hell , life in the Kālasūtra is 1.296*1013 years long .
So I see we went from a sitcom starring Aizen, his butterfly design, and now religion.
Good old Felch thread.
I think it'll be Aizen and some random guy, and the guy's going to say "Hey Aizen, bet you can't become a god someday" "lol you're on"
I lol'd hard, thank you.
Aizen needs to fight Jesus Christ, God, and Satan.
That fight would be so motherfucking epic.
You forgot Xenu :ninja: .
Aizen's hair can fight Xenu.
This thread is slowly changing i can feel it.
Aizen: "What religion do you believe in, Tom?"
Tom: "The religion of you shutting up."
But wow, religious talk all of a sudden. Kinda strange.
This thread is slowly changing i can feel it.
That's a bad thing you know. When that happens, then the thread ceases to be about the manga and it just becomes an off-topic dumping ground of crap that can be talked about anywhere else on this board.

That's why everything here needs to be at least slightly affiliated with the manga. That way it can be fun, but stay slightly on-topic.
Everything.
And no, I'm not being sarcastic.

So, it becomes the Naruto thread?
That thread is awesome when it doesn't get completely out of control.

In all fairness, this manga in particular stopped being a manga a long time ago. It's as random as an off-topic dumping ground of crap. Bleach is like the Seinfeld of manga; unexplainable shit happens, and you're just left to go "oh, ok… now what?"

But Seinfeld is funny. Bleach…...not really unless it involves Aizen, he is so bad it becomes funny.
Ookey nao.

It was all an illusion to fool you.
So which father character was ruined worse?
Isshin or Minato?

Where has this thread been all my life?
The better question would be: where's Livin' with Aizen been all my life?
Edit @ above: Isshin would need a character to ruin first, and it was barely there beyond wannabe gags, so Minato imo was ruined more. People just expected Kubo to do something cool because Isshin was this character with a semblence of being via gags and then was revealed as a Shinigami. Then when he fought Aizen everyone expected Kubo to be going somewhere with Isshin being a Shinigami. Too bad they forgot it was all in the palm of Aizen's hand…

OHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!
Isshin, he was turned from a neat funny innocuous father to, for absolutely no reason, a goddamned secret shinigami.
You don't see a problem writing wise with taking a character like Isshin and suddenly making him into a super strong ghost man?
It'd be like if Oda suddenly revealed Wood Slap was the secret leader of the WG who is on par with the Admirals.
Well Minato was handed the idiot ball, while Isshin was stuck in an idiot plot.

What's wrong with that? I mean, it only turns the story into a complete farce in the end.
But Isshin is voiced by Patrick Seitz. Therefore, all argument is null and void.
You don't see a problem writing wise with taking a character like Isshin and suddenly making him into a super strong ghost man?
Of course there's a problem writing wise with it that's terrible. You mentioned which character was ruined though, and with the expectations I had for Bleach, it was hard to "ruin" an already terrible character. I have just as low expectations for Naruto, but I tend to hope it keeps its few decent characters decent. Kishi didn't do so with Minato. Therefore I felt more disappointment and "ruin"ing going on there. Basically in Bleach, everything is ruined from the beginning as a part of Aizen's plan, whereas in Naruto it once had something, but one by one what it had is being ruined.
Bleach is hilarious
Naruto is just boring.
Wasn't this the other way around at one point?
Yes but then Aizen started to really show his metod of being a villain.:ninja:
Yeah, it was the other way around.
Naruto is dull when it's doing bullshit like trying to execute plot lines we would have cared about 40 volumes ago.
Meanwhile Aizen is just beyond belief in how terrible he's written.
The worst thing is that with how Jump currently runs itself, these series won't be the last we see of Big K and Lil' K.
Then it's just like the U.S. Police force all over again.
Damn Japanese and their moonrunes, making it harder for me to ruin someone's life…
So which father character was ruined worse?
Isshin or Minato?
I'd say Isshin.
Minato might've been ruined, but at least Kishi gave us information about him that flowed… kinda. For such a hyped up character, I guess we were all expecting more, but since Minato didn't have a sharingan, he was tossed aside like a 2 dollar whore. Even then, Minato was responsible for probably the best chapter in 2 or more years... even if it was a fluke...
Isshin on the other hand is shown to be a shinigami about 200 chapters ago, and then people were left to contemplate about it. Then, during the fight with Aizen, he pops out of nowhere, shows up as a shinigami, and Ichigo doesn't question it at all. Kubo didn't even try. That's how bad it is for Isshin. We had years to contemplate about how Isshin is a shinigami, and then when he finally shows up, and it seems like we're going to get an answer, Kubo trolls us and Ichigo goes "It's okay dad, you'll tell me when you're ready =3"
Long story short, Minato got ruined because Kishimoto wrote a terrible flashback arc. Isshin got ruined because Kubo couldn't even think of a few lines that would explain what was going on.
Isshin was a meh character in a bad series and stayed that way.
Minato was supposed to be a cool character in a bad manga, and was written as an incompetent idiot, and turned into a bad character.
In terms of manga quality, Isshin's the worst, but Minato's first real appearance is also where he falls flat on his face.
Well this is how I feel about Bleach now. I own volume 1-29 and when my girlfriend said I wasn't gonna have it on our new bookshelf I said yeah it doesn't deserve space on our shelf. Yu-gi-oh, yes, FMA, yes, Dragonball, yes, HxH, yes, maybe even Yu Yu Hakusho if there is enough space when we take into account Pratchett and other books. Bleach, a big fat NO.
Gin finally goes badass and he is taking out by a BUTTERFLY. a m****** ****ing BUTTERFLY!!!! Bleach does not deserve my spleen to vent for it this week any more.
@Friend:
BUTTERFLY!!!!
Sshhh… you'll wake the troll.
Then I will slay it with the hokuto technique. At least I have hokuto no ken to enjoy as my replacement series for bleach.
So which father character was ruined worse?
Isshin or Minato?
Isshin. Because Minato had no personality to be ruined.
How would I love if in a couple of years we'd be talking nostalgicly about how it was fun to post in the 'Bleach-thread'.
Could the Bleach-thread detrone the Naruto-thread of its pedestal?
