I'm still fairly new to the Xbox 360, and I have noticed that on my controller, the green light in the middle will do a spinning motion. Is this just something that it does or does it mean something is wrong?
Is Something Wrong with My Xbox 360?
-
-
I've seen that happen a few times on mine and it does nothing (don't quote me on that though).
-
So far nothing has happened on my Xbox to suggest anything is wrong. It happens a lot more though then it used to.
-
That sounds really annoying. Why is there a spinning light on the controller? So you can see in the dark?
-
The light spins at random the lights are there to let you know what port is the controller connected to.
-
mine does that but only as soon as you turn on the system. Then it stops
-
I know that it spins when you turn it on, but after I turn it on it will spin almost all the time for no reason in particular.
This only seems to happen though with my regular controller, because my Guitar Hero 2 and DDR controllers don't do it.
-
(I presume you've already tried this) Have you made sure the controller is fully connected? Have you tried unplugging the controller and plugging it back in? (Again, I realize this was probably the first thing you did.)
-
Actuelly, I have a wireless controller.
-
Well maybe its just the controller, buy/ borrow another one and see if it still happens. You never said anything about the games not working so its not the worst thing in the world.
My 360 gets red rings for no reason about once a month when i turn it on. All i have to do is just turn it off and back on and it works just fine
-
It means your battery is almost dead. It spins to tell you to either charge or change your battery.
-
Thank you for telling me that. Yes, my controller started to become disconnected a few times a day but I think it will work after I change the batteries.
-
Just buy a wired one.
