When he defeated Usopp and Eyelashes in 2 seconds (1 second for each one) and transformed into Usopp to trick Bibi to kill her.
The "Who/what/where is this?" thread

-
When did Mr. 2 steal Usopp's goggles?
He originally chased the wrong people (usopp/Eyelash).
-
Was he wearing the goggles when he tried to kidnap Vivi?
-
Yes, he was wearing them.
-
Ok, I tried searching this thread, and I haven't seen any questions regarding mine. If I missed it, sorry! (And sorry for my extreme vagueness; I'm going off of icons and 2 seconds of footage from AMVs.)
Ok, I'm sure you've all seen the icons.
The first scene is one where apparently Sanji and Zoro are eating (and Nami's behind them, I think) and Sanji's looking at Zoro and blushing and stuff for like a second. They're in Arabasta clothes, but I'm guessing it's a filler episode (since I don't remember THAT from the manga).
The second scene is Sanji being attacked by a giant…er, green, squid, tentacle thing. For that one, I seriously have NO idea where it came from. A filler arc, most likely.
-
The first one is from episode 131.
The second one is from the 2nd TV Special (K-F considers it the 1st TV Special), the one with the skeleton pirate.
-
With rokushi(sp) in the cp9 does tekkai have to be manually activated by saying "tekkai" or not and it just always pops up when someone hits the user….

Downloads episodes Thanks Kaos! I've been wondering about those 2 scenes for awhile.

What episode does Whitebeard appear in?
-
I have a question. In which chapter do all of the Duck Squad appear? And also which episode does Zoro use Rashoumon in?
-
-
And now I have already come up with another question. Are Usopp and Robin's seiyuu's realted; because they both have the surname Yamaguchi. Or is this just coincedence?
-
@Mr.:
I have a question. In which chapter do all of the Duck Squad appear?
Chap.180
Ep.111 -
Does anybody know why in the anime it was changed from a kid chucking a rock at Conis to chucking a tomato? I don't see why they'd limit that kinda harshness/volience after all the other stuff.
Also, what other things like this were changed in the anime from the manga?
-
I have no explanation for these things but this is what they changed in the anime:
- Many many times blood is removed, the best moments to check this is in Om's jail in Skypiea and in the Luffy VS Foxy fight.
- They removed how Luffy got his scar
- Luffy eats the Gomu Gomu Fruit after Higuma leaves the bar, he ate it while he was around in the manga.
- They removed Luffy leaving his village, defeating the Sea King and how he ended up inside that barrel.
- Instead of meeting Alvida in an island he meets her during an assault to a rich boat.
- Zoro's sentece changed from 1 mont to 9 days.
- Morgan kills the marine that refuses to kill Rika instead of just throwing him away.
- They removed a part where the marines put their guns on their heads when Morgan ordered them to suicide.
- Buggy kills the pirate who told him that Nami escaped instead of choking him a little.
- Zoro stabbed himself in the wound to give Khabaji a handicap, this was removed.
- Gaimon's episode happened between Kuro and Krieg arcs instead of between Buggy and Kuro arcs.
- Kaya's room is in the 1st floor instead of being in the ground floor.
- Jango hit Luffy in the head with his chakram, in the anime he catches it with his teeth.
- Zoro VS Butchie fight was longer in the manga.
- Zeff ate his leg in the manga, in the anime it was trapped in the boat's remains and he had to cut it with an anchor.
- They removed a scene in which we could see Sanji starting to smoke still as a kid.
- When Brogy breaks Mr.3's wax he nailed him with with wax swords, this was removed in the anime.
- In the manga, Bon Kure's coat reads: "Okama Way", in the anime it reads "Bon Kure".
- Whitebeard's symbol was changed so it doesn't resemble a nazi cross.
- Ace leaves shortly after meeting instead of following them through the desert.
- Bon Kure's "okama kenpo" is changed to "ballet kenpo"
- When Bellamy is playing cards with Roshio he stabbed his hand with a knife, in the anime he just grabs his arm.
- In Skypiea, during the flashback of the Gan Fall/Wiper meeting, when Gan Fall said he liked pumpklin juice Wiper attacks him with a knife, the knife was removed in the anime.
These are the significative differences I've spotted so far.

I believe you got these mixed up. I'm pretty sure the later of those two is what happens in the anime while the earlier happens in the manga.
-
Yup, my bad ^^U
-
Another change would be Luffy's past not being the start of the series but rather a flashback in episode 4. Safe to say this was due to get the audience hooked first.
Another question, how much does Oda's assistances do? Do they do all the backgrounds while Oda simply draws the characters? And do they even add details to them aswell?
-
Not…...the angel loser!! I hate that guy. Hate, hate, hate him. My most hated design. The reason he's in the front while Lulu and Tilestone are in the back is probably because the animators felt he'd be important (blech!) or thought we was a cool looking character (even worse). Remember, that intro was made most likely before CP9 was even revealed.
Where did you find this "angel" guy? could you post a picture of him?
-
Thanks man. lol, i thought i missed somthing big.

what is tekkai?
-
@lxn:
what is tekkai?
Tekkai is a powerful Rokushiki skill where the user tightens their muscles to a point where they become as strong as iron, thus preventing strong attacks from harming the body.

I'd like to know this as well.

I always though tekkai was like iron shirt. They went through training tto harden their skin and muscles.

Can someone help me, this is REALLY FRUSTRATING! @_@
Okay, the giant/fish-man hybrid on Foxy's crew.
One MSN site calls him "Big-Bun," another calls him "Big-Bang" and the wikipedia calls him "Big-Pan."
WTF is it??!? -
Bigpan is his name.

where did luffy get his black armband?
-
where did luffy get his black armband?
…You mean the one in Skypeia (Skypiea? XD I always forget which way it is. ^^; )? From what I remember from one of the SBS's (might not be 100% accurate, I don't pay too much attention to 'em), Luffy, Sanji, and Usopp were getting ready to go on their adventure, and Luffy decided he needed adventure clothes, so he borrowed a bracelet from Sanji and an armband from Usopp. ^^
-
was this in the manga? I don't remember that at all.
-

It's in SBS. ^^; I'll look later and see if I can find it…
-
thank you very much!

Hey um two things.
1. What was the name of the Foxy Pirate who flew around on a bird and announced the events? I always forget…
2. What attack did Zoro use when Hawkeye broke his swords? -

1. What was the name of the Foxy Pirate who flew around on a bird and announced the events? I always forget…
2. What attack did Zoro use when Hawkeye broke his swords?1. His name is Itomimizu, although lots of people call him "Tubifex" (which is the meaning of his name), for some reason…
2. Santouryuu Ougi: Sanzen Sekai (santouryuu special technique: three-thousand worlds) -
Three thousand thanks!
-
hey, in the recent episode of OP, Califa keeps telling spandman (sp) "that's sexual harrasment" whenever he says her name. Is there some hidden joke, or meaning to that, or is it just plain stupid humor. (what you see is what you get)

Its just stupid humor and shows you what kind of Femminist woman Calipha is.

In which episode of the Apis arc we get to see Zoro cutting steel before he's able to do so?
-
That would be in episode 59.
-
This post is deleted!
-
Does anyone remember in which chapter Franky gets hit by the Puffin' Tom?
-
That was chapter 357 "Cutty Flam". It´s within volume 37. ;)

Just out of curiosity, is it known when Robin ate the Hana Hana fruit? We known when Luffy ate the Gomu Gomu fruit, approximentally when Chopper and Buggy ate theirs, and we have a VERY good idea as to when Alvida ate hers, but has Oda discussed when Robin ate hers at all?
-

No, but its before she was 8 years old. Before her flashback.

Um I was reading some posts on the msn goups here the 7th message it says
this:Nonetheless, it is generally implied thruought the series that her relationship with Luffy is more than friendship as seen in the third special Japanese filler where she comments on one day becoming his "Pirate Queen". Luffy's response: a smile and a slight blush."
They took it out of wikipidia but you know i dont trust it.
is this true? and if it is what special are they refering to? im very confused
please and thank you

First off, it's wikipedia, so the source itself is fuzzy. About 99% of Wiki seems legit enough, but it's an encyclopedia put together by anyone who gets an account, and getting an account is rather simple. I'VE made changes to the One Piece wiki article (I saw a spelling/grammar error that I didn't like so I fixed it :) ). This means that people can edit the articles to reflect their own biases, even if these biases only stay up until someone decides to change them.
Secondly, the episode the article they are referring to is filler, hence, not canon. The only one who knows whether or not there will be any romance in One Piece is Oda, and the only time he's addressed the question (at least as far as the SBS goes) is that they are all in love with adventure. For all we know any suggestion of a pairing that Toei decides to run with will be obliterated by Oda later on in the manga.
If anyone knows of any interviews during which Oda addresses the question of canon vs. non canon couples feel free to add onto this ('cause I'm kinda curious if he has seriously addressed this myself). Or if I somehow someone OTHER THAN SANJI declaring their love for someone feel free to correct me.
If he wants to have any of the characters hook up by the end of the series, he'll do it. If not, then he won't.
-
ok I just wanted to see if it was true. sry.

Who is Chimney…?
