Long have I wanted to see a greatly accurate Crocodile cosplay, and I finally see it. Now, time to find one of Franky. I myself have a brilliant idea on how to make those arms of his, and if I ever got into shape for cosplay, I'd do it.
All I'll say is it involves pantyhose, foam, paint, and those hulk hand toys they were selling a few years back.

Coral-san MADE those goggles out of regular headbands and tinker toys. The rest of it we just got patterns and fabric for and made from scratch. I styled most of the wigs, like our Franky's wig, my Shanks wig…I helped on the Iceberg wig and helped with the wefts on Buggy's hat.
She also made her own Sogeking mask, which looks phenomenal! And MoonNeko is going to make one HELL of a Paulie when she's done. ^_^
Most of the cosplay by SetaGinny should go in here. As much as I like you guys and your cosplay, I think she is the all time greatest.
I for one am incredibly SICK of Japanese cosplayers being seen as ELITIST. I HATE it. I think I can do a cosplay and look JUST as accurate as ANY of them. Forgive me for not being born asian. I hate things like this where you try to point out overly well done or exceptional cosplay. I just cosplay because it's FUN. I just enjoy the cosplay, and enjoy just in general ANYONE cosplaying One Piece rocks. It sucks that we have to be catagorized by our skills rather than how awesome we ALL look cosplaying the characters we love.
However, I don't think Crocodile up there is Asian…so...yeah. And he is quite teh awesome. But The Vivi looks a bit shopped to me. Her face looks a weeeeee bit too smooth. does this sort of thing for a living, touching up photos

and yeah O_O honestly to me.. that Crocodile up there is FREAKING AMAZING I wish I could see THAT guy in person! All the others look like they were professionally taken in japan so I'll never see those people, and if not, well they're damn good and just the kind of cosplays that make me wish I'd never cosplay because I can't possibly compair to THAT ^^; which is why I'd rather not be compaired...
but it's still quite fun to look at O_O I wish I had pictures of what I Thought was the best or greatest but I don't have any awesome pictures, how ever and sorry if this sounds bias... but I think that our Shanks (aka Youshi) is DAMN good! I'm not saying she's the BEST on planet earth cause well there's always someone better =3= but you'll never find a more merry in character Shanks no matter how hard you look! She's just fun

Anyways, to some of those images, I'll give credit. But some of them seem to be shopped. Overly shopped. If not that, then hell if I know what.
But most of the cosplayers that post in the "Cosplay Here!" thread that Youshi started are IMO some of the more memorable cosplayers I've seen/met/known of.

Woah, hang on. What's with all the Asian hate? You really have no right to say anything against it, the shit comes from Japan so expect there to be plenty of Asian cosplayers. As for Asians being "superior" in cosplay, I don't recall anyone saying that, MoonNeko.
But I can see why that is a general thought that goes around in the world of cosplay, after all, most manga/anime characters ARE Asian. But I gotta say, I almost never actually see Asian cosplay, most is Caucasian.
I think that's the first time I've ever seen a Cabaji cosplayer. Huh.
