these are some wasted chapter i think. He could have just left out the whole towers and these pointless fights.
Plus was this chapter not gay or what. we have two guys obsessed with beauty when neither are good looking. Then we have one transform into a flaiming homo's suit, while the other tentacle f*cks him to death.
Hmm not even sure if i want these chapters in my collection, gonna do a whole Zoro and Kokoro (mermaid) erasing on this incident. it never happened.

No, the last two chapters never happened…it was all what Kyoka Suigetsu wanted us to see...
Probably the only thing I found interestings about the chapter: Yumichika's crack about Coolhorn's ability being "just a cero" and the fact that it's not "blooming flowers" for his Shikai ability...but peacock feathers that become flowers when they absorb the reiatsu. It's disturbed but it makes it more tolerable than all the flowery stuff the last few weeks. (though with Yumichika done and the Kira & Ikakku cameos the last two weeks, I'm scared the next fight will be Shuuhei)

Despite the UGH factor, that was actually pretty amusing.
Kind of funny to see that Yumichika was just holding off until he could use his (cheapcheapcheap)Shikai without anyone else seeing what it was. Yay pride.
Though now I'm wondering if Ikkaku will wind up doing the same thing…
...and I'm expecting Hisagi's fight to be next. Kubo wouldn't use the OMGPSYCHO Kira until the end, and the same goes for Ikkaku's Bankai action. Personally, I'm leaning towards Kira being last, but it'll definitely be one of them.

Although this wrapped up quickly (which is good considering normal dragged out Bleach fights), I found this fight pretty entertaining. Ikkaku's will be awesome, I already know that. Hopefully maybe Kira or Shuuhei will have a decent fight too.

Oh, Kubo. You just destroyed all the fuzzy nostalgia I have for magical girl anime in one fell chapter.
I think he managed to parody Sailor Moon, Revolutionary Girl Utena, AND Shugo Chara in one character. All we needed was a cute staff or a stuffed animal sidekick and we could have added CCS too.That being said, this chapter was disturbing and hilarious. Yeah, we can think of Yumichika's 2nd shikai (although I think he's the first to have a 2nd form) as cheap, but at least it's not out of the blue. We knew he had this ace up his sleeve. I bet someone with enough reiatsu could overload the vines/tentacles and destroy it, but for now it's a pretty cool ability.
Ahhh, I love Bleach when it's actually entertaining.

Hmm who has a tendency of hiding their true colors and not showing people that they are really a homosexual. Here we have him not wanting anyone to see his move, and he is excited when he hears that no one can see him. Then he goes and send out tentacles all over his enemy.
I'm thinking someone needs to come out of the closet.

He's not gay, he's just really really vain. Plus, his Shikai is a Kido type, which is frowned upon in the 11th Division because they're supposed to be a pure fighting division. So, he doesn't want his fellow members to look down on him for having a non-combat Shikai.

yea i know all that but it is just a similarity that i find it amusing.
he is obsessed with his looks, dressing pretty gay for having to have the same outfit as everyone else (what are those stupid eyelash/eybrow things) And he has never shown his fellow comrades his true nature (power) because they are macho men obsessed with power and strength and stuff.
Fits pretty parrralel with a homosexual kid say on the wrestling team or football team or something. Plenty of jocks working out and obsessed with their strength. and a pretty boy afraid of coming out the closet cause he is afraid of what they will think of him.

Well, I don't really watch Bleach animu, but they could keep going straight on until the Flashback arc, and then just put in a few filler things involving the flashback.

Yeah, but man, It feels like he dosen't plan things and he makes things as he goes along. I also think his characterization is poor,and he leaves many charatcers underdeveloped and and most of his charcters are generic and very cliche-Orhime. Some characters are great,but are underdeveloped.

! 69 dudes opponent is rather interesting apparently he can attain a higher level by breaking his mask off, I found this to be a bit creative but I feel like i've seen the same thing somewhere else before. Cool horns ugly ass got the cover for the chapter. Seems like kira's fight is next, I kinda wish that kubo would of shown how his enemy released. anyways good chapter

Nothing really happened this week: all it seemed like is setups both for Hisagi's Shikai and…well, something with Kira regarding his abilities. (since his sword does the same thing as the released power of his opponent, I doubt he'll just double his weight) Oh, and somehow Yumichika's speech at the start shows how his pride never gets in the way of being a member of Kenpachi's group.
Y'know, Negima WAS awesome…

Chapter was decent. Yumichikia is as vain as ever. I like Hisagi's opponent and his ability to change his release state by breaking his mask, and Kira's opponent is perfect for him. Super-heavy feathers versus a guy whose shikai makes him weigh things down… I guess he'll just have to keep hitting him until he gets TOO heavy, or find some way to develop Bankai to beat him.
Was kinda hoping for Hisagi's release, but I guess we'll have to wait some more for it.

Must say that I'm really diggin how Kubo handles these past chapters. The fights are done quickly and the characters personalities get a bit of spotlight. I finally feel entertained again with Bleach.^^

It's character exposition with humor thrown in. What Kubo does best.
So yeah, these chapters are a big improvement over Hueco Mundo. The fights (so far) are short and sweet and we're getting seriously entertained. Can't ask for much more in a shonen manga.
