I couldn't watch the anime once after reading the manga. Can't imagine watching the anime twice.

If I watch it it'll be for 2 things:
The epicness at the end of episode 1 with the handwriting and the epic chip eating.
I could read the manga twice, but definietly not the anime.

Well it is made by the same people who edited full metal alchamist….ok I'm hopeing for the best...and I don't mind watching this a third time through because like many I've read the manga and watched the jap anime so I hope they don't screw this up!

Aniplex is a Japanese company that distributes FMA, among other anime. Funi did the English dubbing.

Unlike the rest of you I haven't watched Death Note yet (since I knew it was going to be dubbed and put on TV somehow), so I'll be watching it. (probably one of the twelve AS mentioned…idiots don't care about anime) But of course I prepped myself by listening to "What's Up People" several times and just saw the "potato chip" scene...only shonen can make eating snacks seem so..epic.

Technically, the English dubbers of Death Note are the Ocean Group, who aren't really known for good voice acting (Inuyasha).

I should have no problem watching the dub considering I never saw the original Japanese and only read the first 4 volumes of the manga. Tho it wont be very surprising, seeing how I spoiled myself purposely on every plot point. Just like I did with Gurren Lagann.
