If you want to draw better you should study and practice the human body and the same routine for everything else and patience.
tosses a How to Draw Manga book
Alright, GO!
My favorite coloring tutorial. I still dunno how well I am at coloring.
Digital Art drawring tutorials.
General drawring tips. Another good one.
Also try looking at this site, though it mainly just tells how to draw some generic anime stuff.
Fold tutorial. Dunno if you want it or not. Mostly for goth-loli stuff, though…
Or ya could always copy off Oda or whoever till you get it. Try asking e1n for help on that…..
thank you, I really need this stuff :D
If you really want to start drawing good you should get some magazines with people in it and try to draw them and come up with your own style. That way you won't become a generic anime-drawing clone. Also, I think its important to understand some of the basic proportions and so, plus some tutorials always help if you're stuck. Or just search a few manga comics for a specific pose and copy it if you're in a dead end.
An inking tutorial I made:
!
The best way to get better at drawing is by drawing. ALL THE TIME. And by thinking about what you're doing. It's all about thinking and observing. You could probably learn alot by observation as well.
You can look at Deviant Art. They have a bunch.
go to Howtodrawmanga.com. they have a pretty good tutorial on drawing. I am actually using that tutorial to teach myself so, shrugs i don't know how I'm doing since I'm starting from scratch.

What if I don't want to draw Rock Lee
lol good point Cap'n CArter XD
and also thank you all for the tips and stuff, I accept more of course, gladly :D
I was gonna say thanks before but my cpu froze up and i didnt come back on until now
What if I don't want to draw Rock Lee
i will spit on your artworks
1-Don't use how to draw books. They suck. Use ones that teach you techs (aka use of color, shawdow and form) They help guide you and think for yourself.
2- Do what a lot of people have said already:
GO OUTSIDE AND PEOPLE WATCH. Copying photographs is the best practice. Try drawing your hand without looking at the paper (BTW, its supposed to look like crap)
Also, screw style until you know how to really work pencil or ink. If you ever want to be an artist, every art student will tell you how much they hate their proffs for not letting them do 'they're thing'.
And another thing- any pencil is a good pencil. Try different ones, you'll find one that your comfortable with and you'll never be able to use any other(cuz everyone I know who asks me always think they need certain brands to draw better. Thats all bullocks. Tho Prisma colored pencils are IMO best ever XD)
@ Taboo- Pink eraser? Doesn't that ruin your paper?
yeah it does ruin the paper D:
and thank you :D
not always. i use one.
I used to use one, until that oen time I ahd a test and it was all ugly D:

You gotta test it before you use it. Some erasers are crappy and feel like they're made out of plastic, and others are soft and take away pencil marks easlily.
Yea, I have a white ereaser, it feels kinda like very soft rubber, and it works well, though it heaves lots of eraser shavings.
I really don't reccomend "how to" books for drawing, all they teach you is how to draw one particular way– frankly, I think the last thing the world needs is yet another person who draws generic-looking anime people. I'd reccomend anatomy books, maybe some books on perspective and shading if you don't want to take classes for them, but really, when you get down to it, the BEST way to learn how to draw is to practice, practice, practice. There really isn't a shortcut around that part. I'd reccomend looking at people whose art you admire and try and figure out what it is you like about and try it out with your own stuff. Some things will work, some things won't, and it might take you a while to get the hang of some, but that's pretty much how it goes with learning anything.
There you go, a site with a lot of free tutorials.
Just don't use any Manga Books by Keith Sparrow.
Seriously.
thanks guys for all the good advice, im willing to recieve even more :D
