Schedule on Cartoon Network's website says "Into the Mist" is on September 15th and "Great Escape 2" is on September 22nd.
So we should get Funi One Piece on the 29th if they don't wait a few weeks to start the new season.
Why are people expecting a preview or some crap? For the 30th time, One Piece is the same show to the network. It's not gonna get anything the 4kids dub didn't have.
4kids' dub got many season 2 previews, so would be surprised if they didn't mention that One Piece season 3 is starting soon. They probably aren't gonna mention the fact that it's being done by a different company, just that it's the third season and what to expect to see.
My god.. it seems like forever that we'll be waiting on One Piece. I soo totally wish that they'd stop showing soo much Naruto marathons myself, I can't even begin to watch Toonami between how terrible the hosts look now, and all the Naruto. I used to like the show but can not even stand it anymore not because of the dub, just didn't like what happened to the story, and the fact that it should be called 'Sasuke' not Naruto.
Anyways, enough about that. I cant' wait to hear Kyle doing ANY voice in One Piece no matter who it is xD That's really awesome that he got to make some kind of cameo, I can't wait to hear it ^^

But yeah, it was a sort of miracle that Funi pulled that off for us. I never minded the switch to Zolo that much, but it's definitely nice ... besides, Zolo just sounds funny.

Pokemon's a bad example, since CN cares about Pokemon nearly as much as they do Naruto. They show Pokemon marathons all the time. But I see what you're saying. Then again, if the new dub starts exactly one week after the old season ends, I don't see the point in promoting a new season when there's no break in between them anyway :/

Guys, @ this point I think we can give up hoping for a preview atleast coming out of CN. Let's just hope they get the dub up and airing by the end of September. Maybe we'll get lucky and Funi will post their own preview up on their site or somewhere else before then?

First of my computers is really slow and full of viruses. thats why the post came out of nowhere.it should of posted about two pages back.second funi did state they are using zolo on the tv version because of copyright issues with the spanish guy Zoro. Well I hope that clears things up:happy:

Yes, but even then, it was because of Shueisha wanting them to use Zolo, it didn't have anything to do with Zorro.

Into the Mist is the title of the 4th Rainbow Mist episode, not the first. Great Escape 2 is the 5th and last. No mistakes were made, no episodes skipped. We're right in the middle of the arc.

I also recall someone saying something about comparing the dubs, but I don't remember who or when, so I don't know how reliable that is. "Look how much better our dub is than 4kids" would be neat, but doesn't seem like something Funi would be likely to do.
All we really know is that Funi holds the rights to an OP url (I believe, but am not positive, it is www.onepiece.com), and that their stuff will be on it eventually. I'm sure it'll have synopsis, trailer, maybe character info and multimedia section - all the fluffy stuff anime sites usually have. In terms of when it'll be up, I did a search on this thread and on the internets but really didn't find anything that could be considered even pseudo official… It might not show up till after the dub starts on CN, but will more than likely be up before the first DVD release date. So everything we know is either non-existent or... vague.
Funimation still doesn't even really list anything about One Piece on their main site. I guess their stuff usually turns up on there once they actually have something to show so it'll show up eventually...
Even though nothing has come out to the public yet, I'm still convinced that FUNimation is still working their asses off on this one. With this in mind, I'm becoming more and more patient…but that's just me.

Oh, I'm convinced of it. Even though they don't have anything up online about OP, everything I've heard from interviews and at their con appearances have been "We're so excited to have this," "I'm so glad we can work on this show," etc. I kinda wish this enthusiasm was reflected on their site, but there's no real rush for that. Their market strategy will catch up eventually.
Actually, I got a question…when the new dub starts, does anyone think the sales of the manga will improve? I'm not saying the sales are bad, I'm just asking if the sales will pick up any...
