I played it at my uncle house, it was alright but not enough for me to buy it for myself.
Yeah, Co-op is pretty fun. My boy and I beat it awhile ago. Good stuff
As for online, I heard in sucks in comparisson to other Xbox Live games. I hear there are a lot of abusable glitches in GOW.
Where are you guys gettign this stuff? I won't touch the storyline, but Online is supposed to be a blast. It has more online plays than Halo and Halo 2 did.
this is one of them games that look to be pretty overated, I played it for a few hours and yes, it is overated, but not exactly bad. It's pure X-Box stuff, if thats what you like.
Overated 45% of the time is more of a reference to something that's so good some people can't accept it.
iPod? Many people say it's over rated too.
Truth is unless it's blantanly obvious that it is given more credit than it should be, it's brushed off and the personwho says it's overrated looks stupid.
I thought it was a very good game, I enjoyed the gameplay, and could follow the interesting plot up until jsut past halfway through. I'l ladmit, looking back it's less exciting than when you are actually there. Like the difference between riding an airplane or a car, and watching a video of the same thing. The video is boring but actually being there helps.
Well since the X-Box fannies seem to credit it as the best thing since sliced bread, and its nothing more than an average game, I think the word over-rated can be applied to it.
No I've played better games, but I had lots of fun the first time around playing it.
The scripted events make it unique.
I think what keeps it alive is the first play through, the need of osme people to beat the game, perectly, on the hardest diffuculty, and theonline multiplayer.

No a overrated game would be Halo and Halo 2.
This game is brilliant, the story may not be up to MGS standards but the gameplay and graphics are excellent.
Online is even better it's kept me hooked for months, this game is in no way over rated.
I was actually more interested in people sharing there gamer tags. I'm probably more into this game then anybody else since I just got it.
Ok seriously, Halo is a great game, well worth the effort of playing through multiple times. Halo. Now that's a game.
Gears of was is great too, and you can think it's over rated all you want. Maybe it is, but I like it, and you guys dislike so neither of us are in a place to judge or say "Stop living in denial and accept the truth".
