Tell me whatyou guys think.
I skimmed through your stuff. I have to go on the same boat as the others in saying you have a strong tallent for graphic design. Your computer and abstract stuff is really good. I love all your sigs, even if the topics are something I am not of interest with.
Yoru animated GIF was good. ran real smooth, no, jerking in the loop. (hate seeing that in gif's)
Your colored comic book pages; not that they are bad. (as neko says, it's a style) but I don't think the vivid flat colors is really a suitable style for this medium. It reminds me of that art, with the multiple images of maralyn monroe, or the cambles soup can. (what's the name of that art style, someone help me out here) I'd like so see some differnet hues and some gradation in there. They're not bad though. :)
oh, and I wanted to coment on that first one you did in particular. I really love. it I have no idea who the charicter is. (from bleach right?) but I really love it. I love how you keep everything real simple, and how you have a blue color story going on there. ( has a weakness for blue) The offset of the charicter is perfect, and I like the alignment of the font, as well as the font choise, and color.
I do have a problem with it though. I'm not sure if it is a lack of focal point, or that the bullseye pattern confuses the eye to where the focal point should be. Don't get me wrong. I love the background. it's fun to look at, and the color looks pretty against the white. I'm just not sure if it works well with this particular picture.
if you feel like it, try putting the background back in the bottom right. (i noticed you just filled it in with more cape) it might help break up the drastic contrast between the background and the cape. You could also try taking out the bullseye pattern as well, and do some other pattern in the background. you need something to link all the elements together, but not to act as another focal point. keep that color though, that you used for the bullseye. The color is perfect.
ahh, I feel better. ^_^
