Well, I finally saw the Japanese version. Ikue Ootani does a great job with Gash's voice. It's alot better than the dub.

I want to say I like the dub, but in comparison it's kinda lame. For some reason I don't like Kiyomaro's voice at all, I don't mind Zatch's though. I hate how they put in all of those filler gags, it makes Gash and Kiyomaro look like pun spouting douchebags.

And the original score is SO AWESOME (has an unholy battle kinda feel to it, even though most of the demons are adorable), but in the dub they put in a bunch of bland crap (especially the intro song). And I hate to get annoyed over little changes, but a lot of the name changes sond dumb (Ponygon, Rops..).

Well, tonight's dub ep did air and its official from the sources I have, the same guy who does Kabuto in Naruto will be Kafka's Dubbed VA. And yeah, Gash Bell dubbed is finally approaching the Millenium Makai arc. Then within a year or 2, the Faudo arc XD. Not that I hate the dub but, I can just sense Faudo will have the most edits out of the other dubbed arcs. Then again, there were some scenes that were extreme in the Millenium Makai arc so..Edits or small name changes dont concern me in the dub but the dubbed VAs .

! Brago is probably just there for the music…or something. I think that he realizes this is Gash's fight and rather wait until Zeon (a huge candidate for king at this point) is out of the way and everything calms down before challenging him again.

So as soon as Zeon does get defeated and they now need to stop Faudo from raging into Japan and destroying, Brago will possible finally chalenge Gash to a real fight and there is a 50:50 chance that Brago will, which I would hate happening as much as it did to Ted and WonRei, get his book burned in possible the hands of Gash and I hope that wont happen as well considering most of my faves have already had their books burned and sent back to the Makai..But, we wont know what happen so all we can do is sit back and watch the closing chapters of the Faudo arc now considering its finally time for Zeon and Gash's duel. But I do have to say..I find Gash now stronger in the manga considering of his 3 new spells he had gain while Kiyomaro was in a coma, I mean the poor kid spent nearly the whole arc crying about Kiyomaro worried and he even attempted to use himself as a blockade to get everyone to pass on a certain barrier in 241 made by Keith for just for his life but resulting to Bari making the sacrifice. But Tio, Kanchome, and Umagon getting pwned and Momon's book being burned really did show us the most in this arc how they need Gash and Kiyomaro in the frontline dont you think? Well, cant wait for next week's chapter. Looks very exciting ^_^….But! I know this does sound like a stupid fantasy but I do wish Ted, Momon, and WonRei did get a second chance XD..Just sad to see them gone from the battle just like that..

! You know if one of those two were sent back by the quartet that went in (Tio, Umagon, Canchome, Momon), then the sting wouldn't feel as painful to me as it does. Sure I knew Kyomaro was going to come back and Gash was going to be more powerful for the final battle with Zeon, but I really didn't want it to happen until after Rodeaux and Jedun…or at least one of those two, were defeated. I know its four Mamono with mostly assist powers and such, but to have them stand their ground and at least take one down before falling instead of all falling to the two Godufa-powered Mamono would at least show something more to me than resorting to the old-standby of the hero coming to save the day after the other heroes try and fail to defeat someone. (best thing that comes to my mind regarding that is the whole Frieza fight prior to Goku showing up. But this is Zeon's minions, not even the ultimate baddy!)

! I wanted one of zeons minions to be beaten by them too but I suppose it was asking for too much. These are after all the people Zeon chose to be his bodyguards and they got powerups by him. If it was any other time they may have taken them down or even if Momon had gotten his new spells earlier,but whatever. Even now that Gash's spells are at the max power they can be Zeon hasn't seemed that worried so maybe this is all part of some big plan of his, he did keep most of Gash's group alive even though he could have burned their books and he kept Gash alive until now despite knowing what a threat he could eventually pose. Maybe something like to use the true power of Baou you need two of them and he's going to use Gash's group to make him help summon the true power.
(maybe Brago knows this and is waiting to help when the time comes that he is needed.)
