Fighting For One Piece

thanx man :D
-
They had me up until the "press square" to use that Command Art or whatever it's called. That's pretty damn simple to pull of a powerful devestating attack, where the only "risk" is failing to imput some simple enough button presses.
Still, that lack of female characters is worrying me…
-
Oh, the important part seems to be forgotten…
On Market: September 8th, 2005 (発売日:2005年9月8日)
Check out the little information plate above Luffy's straw-hat.
Aaaaand...
OH. MY. GAWD.
Logia Members roxxur
And it seems like Nami's gonna have her W7 Costume yay :D
-

-

@Mr.Tomato-head
do you have more scans?
or a the full scan of that page? -
Awsome FRANKY IS IN DA HOUSE. its gonna be great
-
Sorry I just found in a local bulletin board that someone took a picture of it…
BTW Publishing date used to be 'Around July',right?
But now it's prolonged for September...
So there's a possibility that they'll even have CP9 as a hidden character in it...But I doubt it.
D'you know in GB RUSH they had pictures of all the hidden characters
(Eneru, Aokiji, Shanks, Mihawk)
in a frickin' MANUAL ?Well, if Usopp will have his Soge-king Costume,
or if Nami will be equipped with Perfect-Clima-tact, I'll be quite satisfied.Oh, and never forget that Nami and Robin may wear a mini-skirt
in that life-sized graphic... B) -
Ow! Ow-owww!
Oh, and Logia fruits like whoa. Thanks a lot, Tomato.
EDIT: A push back isn't usually a good thing, but maybe they can put in other things now.

On Bandai's site, it is still listed under July.
-
Franky's in it?! It's MINE.
-
Alright, now I gotta get it.
-
THIS GAME IS MINE.
MWAHAHAAAA! -
Franky. Sweet.
About time they based a game more on the manga then the anime.
-
I always thought some of the games were based on the manga, but used anime artwork. Like in GB Rush, they used a bunch of stuff only seen in the manga (such as Karasumagari). And hell, Going Baseball used artwork ripped DIRECTLY from the manga.
But yeah, a manga based fighter is sweet. I really can't wait to see what kind of moves Franky will have… I just hope they expand the roster, the lack of East Blue villains and the Logia overload is a bit distressing (though I don't doubt that Franky makes up for a bit of it).
-
Is it just me, or is Franky's lower arm twisted in a way that isn't correct? His thumb should be on the other side of his hand, I think. Either way though.. man, I need to find a way to play this on my PS2.

Is it just me, or is Franky's lower arm twisted in a way that isn't correct? His thumb should be on the other side of his hand, I think. There should be two reasons.
1: Franky is a Cyborg. he can even shoot out his arm (literally).
so, twisting his arm should be easy as pie.2: Human bone structure was none of concern to the illustrator.
-
Franky! Sweet, but this'll be a lot better with more character(Just 12,I hope Bandai 'll plus more character,at least Lucci and Paulie.)
-
So much love for Franky :D
-
F..F.. Franky wha?!
OMG! OMG! OMG! OMG!
Argh! What's the best way without chipping your PS2 to play imports on it? I had my old PS2 modded, but that died early last year. I bought a PStwo at christmas, but don't plan on getting it chipped.
So yeh, is there a disc swap technique a la freeloader for PS2? I had my Cube modded before I bought it, but seeing as it seems to be PS2 exclusive, that doesn't matter.
Anyways need info need now!
-
Two things: swap disk/Magic Card, or swap disk/Fliptop. You can get these from whatever mod site sells them to your area.
Fliptop requires a bit of work setting up (replacing the PS2 top), but it's no problem. With Magic Card, you simply slide your tray out at the right time and switch discs.
-
There really should be a guide. I'd be happy to make one if it is in great demand. We seem to get these PS2 questions alot.
-
I use a modded PS2 and it hasn't given me any problems.(so far)
I'm really anxious for this game to come out!
But 13 characters is really way too low especially with this new type of fighting style and much better graphics!
They should showcase more characters. -
Well did they say something about hidden characters or no? I'm too lazy to go back.
Also, I find it a bit weird that Japan has a different system than Singapore and Australia….
Oh, Jon. I would've let you handle it if I knew you were on. :P
-
Oh, Jon. I would've let you handle it if I knew you were on.
Well, you summed up what is needed pretty well.
I'll make a guide when I get home. I got a lot of stuff to do.
-
Ah, thanks Buc. Their site has a great setup demonstration for the slime line model. Doesn't seem that hard, even for a guy like me. :P
-
after we calmed down from the franky hype whats left?13 characters and even these arent the best choice.
and i doubt that the gameplay is near a good fighting, i mean if its good they would realese some videos right? -
So do we know who's actually developing this game? It can't be Ganbarion, can it?
-
Going by that last page, it said the "maker" is Bandai. Dunno if that really answers your question, though.
-
Ah, ok. Yeh, someone said Namco was developing because of this merger that's happening between the two companies.
-
News in Jump this week…
Rumble combo:
When your power gauge is filled enough,
press the Triangle button once and you'll get the same stuff as
Original Combo a.k.a continuously-kick-your-opponent's-ass-system
in old Street Fighter Alpha Series. -
Seems a little easy to only have to press one button, but awesome anyway. V-ISM, is it?
-
Just in case you missed it.
-
Probably 'Custom Combo' would be it's best alternate name.
-
Ah, I saw this in one of the bookstores I visited last week. Didn't want to buy the issue though >_>
-
One thing I' m sure:
Aokiji is about 5-6 times taller than Chopper in this game, period.
-
Barely see it?
That custom combo thing looks really weird. Guess I'll just have to see it in action.
-
Those pics look awesome…..
-

Heh, Firefox opens all my large pics in best fit form, instead of actual size. That's why it probably seemed hard to see at first.
-
Aww, it looks so good! But there's no way I'll be importing it unless Mohji makes an appearance. <3
-
is there anychance this game will be for the gc
-
That's what I'm hoping for. I mean, why not? Treasure Battle & GB3 sold fairly well on the Cube, though I think Combat Rush flopped across both consoles. But, I think the Gamecube has a strong enough OP fanbase to justify a version.
-
GB Rush was a flop? That's a shame, that game kicked ass.
-
I thought Rush was great too.
-
Looks like I'll have to figure out this zany Magic Card thing quick and get more money… I must have the FRANKY~! experience!

-
Another system confirmed.
Fight Belly System:
Simple.
You'll get some money everytime you fight COM.
With those Belly you've got, you BUY Characters(SmokerCroc Eneretcetc…)
to unlock them. -
So you need money to unlock characters….interesting...
