I'm trying to create a shirt of the Straw Hat Pirate Logo, but I can't find a clear, large image of the skull and crossbones. I made a similar shirt from the "Gao Gao Stegosaurus" shirt in Air, and I really would like to make one of the Straw Hats… Here's my Air one! I want to put the straw hat logo on a black shirt this time... If anyone could help me get a large picture of the straw hat logo it'd be much appreciated! thanks! Oh, and here's my Gao Gao Shirt!

i've been meaning to do the very same thing, but been too lazy to actually getting anything done, so i searched for the very same thing some time ago.
so is this any good?edit: look at me being repetative.

You could also ask someone with some OP merchandise to scan the logo. I'm sure they plaster the Straw Hat skull and crossbones all over anything OP-related :P
Oh, and if they're cool, you should get silkscreening done and start selling them to the rest of us ^_^
Also, don't worry about finding a 'big' enough image.. You can quite easily recreate the logo in a vector-based format (i.e., Adobe Illustrator) or even use Flash's trace utility, and then output that to any resolution any dpi bitmap format (or give the vector file right to whoever's making it.. I've never done custom shirts before, but it's hard to believe they wouldn't be able to open – that they wouldn't in fact prefer -- vector sources). Just in case you weren't aware.
Qaint.

That logo is excellent! Thank you! I'll try bringing it to the shirt guy and seeing if he can do it… He said the Gao Gao one wasn't "clear enough, which was just complete crap as it came out awesome, but it looks very blah in that pic. I'll bring it to the shop and see what I can do...
Edit- I heard that silkscreening wears out quite easily... Is that true? I'd rather get a shirt silkscreened, as my Gao Gao shirt feels kinda like I've just got a sticker on the shirt that won't peel off, and to be honest it's kinda annoying. Oh well!

no problem. glad i could help.
i have silkscreened some shirts, and the pictures have kept quite well.
but it depends of the colours and fabrics and technique that is used. -
OMG, I just got the shirt and it's absolutely AWESOME! THANKS SO MUCH! Pics to come soon!

you're very welcome. nice to hear it turned out goooood, can't wait to see the results.

I'd really love to buy a one piece t-shirt in the stores, maybe I should visit that cramped manga store that I always go to (damn but they didn't have one piece manga so my other alternative was american bookstore). always a try steals everyones op tshirts

eyes water I WANT THAT SHIRT DAGNAMIT! Calm Now that RAWKS, I mean, it's simply yet it is obviously One Piece, yet not spotterish… If you get my meaning...
Gawd, really good work, it's so clear... Did you use silkscreening or not? ((<-- Curious)) because it turned out very swish. I dig the other one woo, but Luffy's Jolly Roger belongs on a shirt.
I'm too lazy to do myself something Arlong related… Give me a year or so, I'm not too active when it comes to hard work T_T

**Thanks! I didn't use silkscreening, I brought the Jolly Roger to this place in Sheffield that makes t-shirts, and i just told the guy what I wanted. I'm not really sure WHAT it is, but he really did a good job. Total cost- 13 pounds. You should make the Arlong shirt! not much hard work involved in taking a design to someone's shirt shop… :P
