The Burger King game.
You take that back right now, young man. Sneak King is one of the best games ever made.

Sneak King? Never heard of it
Monster Truck Madness 64.
And Pokemon Snap NEVER gets old.
i detest mario sunshine, especially the last level

You detest it yet you played on 'till the last level?
Anyway, I haven't really got a game noted down as the worst, but one of the worst I've played is DBZ: Final Bout. Sucked ass like a leech.
Final Bout was so fuckin' bad. The jumping mechanics were atrocious.
Donkey Kong 64 or Digimon World… >_>
DK64 was great... except for the beating the original Donkey Kong with one life twice REQUIREMENT for beating the game, that is.
Digimon World just for the required training. I don't like to work out, and having my digimon work out ins't something I'd call fun, either.
Ocarina of Time and Final Fantasy VII are both overrated, but the former revolutionized non-linear games, while the latter revolutionized bishonen whiny teenagers as main characters.
OoT wins.

what about FFVIII?
VIII was pretty good, I've only played a bit of IX, and X-XI sucked pretty badly. XII's good also from what I can tell.
IV is still the best.
I've never thought there was such thing as a bad Final Fantasy game (excluding spinoffs), I've loved every single one that I played.
However, as for the one that I like the LEAST, that would have to have be Final Fantasy 2. It had a cool concept for a skill development system, but it problems panning out. I pretty much forced you to do things like waste magic attack your own just to raise their hit points.
I've heard the version on the PSP tweaked and rebalanced some of the mechanics though.
II and X were probably my least favorite Final Fantasy games, with VI, IV, and III being my favorites.
I think X is the only FF that I really hate. Blitzball. shakes fist
VII was horrible. Utterly horrible.
IX definitely has the best cast of characters in the whole series. It's not even a fuckin' contest.
Contra: Shattered Soldier.
I hate this game.
I dunno if I had already said this though.
VII was awesome, utterly awesome :)
Actually, I've found that I seem to like the odd numbered Fantasy's more for some reason. With XII being the exception.
Battle Toads…FIN
IX was a breath of fresh air compared to all the WANGST we got from the two previous games.
Worst game ever? Day Dreamin' Davey for the NES:
I actually owned that piece of shit.
Approaching sound barrier
Scrambled Eggs for MSX.
A game called Hylide for the NES. I'm piss poor at video games, but at the time seeing a game with a cover of a heroic knight blocking a dragon's fire just before he swings his sword and ruin the dragon's shit convinced me to play it.
There was no sword swinging action here though. Instead you attacked enemies by running into them, which inevitably killed you since they're much stronger. And you explored caves, filled with fast flying mutated sprites that looked like that crap when the cartidge is dirty and you have to blow into it to get it working again. And god help you if you touched anything gray cause then you're REALLY fucked.
And you had to find faeries…for some reason there wasn't really a plot, instruction book, or guidance to what the hell you were supposed to be doing next. What pisses me off more though is that there are people out there who can apparently beat this game in about five minutes.
Mario is Missing.
First game where Luigi is the main character, too bad it sucks total ass.
Shaq Fu for the Genesis, that game was so bad, it sucked more as a video game than Kazaam sucked as a movie.
Final Fantasy 7 Dirge of fucking Cerberus.
FFVIII was meh. The battle system was awful. Fuck junctions or funtions, whatever it is.
Blitzball was amazingly addictive. So damn repetitive though.
FFVIII's system was probably one of the biggest feathers in its cap.
Final Fantasy 7 Dirge of fucking Cerberus.
Not the worse game ever, but god damnit I can't believe I didn't at least give this game an honorable mention for it. Seriously, what were they on combining a TPS and an RPG? Not to mention the missions were about as imaginative as Plusle and Minin (in other words, it's not).
And they got all my hopes up when Cait Sith was playable (I was like "FUCK YES, SOME ONE OTHER THAN VINCENT")… but no, they had to make him weaker than Superman getting shot by a shotgun with Kryptonite bullets, and only for one level? To hell with that.
@Archibald:
attacked enemies by running into them
You'd probably hate Ys then. Which would be a shame seeing as it's miles better than Hydlide.
I actually thought FFIX was a pretty weak game. Pretty much the entire cast sucked (except for Steiner, Beatrix and Quina). Okay battle system tho (still doesn't compare to VIII). Def my least fave of the PSone FF games.
The character designs for FFIX were really amazing, especially after we just got force fed 'bishounen' and shitty archetypes for the past two installments.
As much as I liked the Junction system in FFVIII, as well as some of the characters [even Squall], the overall feel of FFIX just can't be beat.

FFXI? The online piece of crap?
Or do you mean 9?
IX definitely had my favorite character cast designs, Quina, Amarant, Steiner and Eiko were all awesome. Too bad FFXIII won't be going back to that kind of game (ugh Lightning looks stupid)
Sorry, I meant FFIX in every part of that post. I'll just edit it.
FFXIII looks like some shitty mixture of Devil May Cry and Ghost in the Shell, with some Kingdom Hearts-esque designs in there. Then again, everything Nomura does IS THE SAME SHIT OVER AND OVER AGAIN. It doesn't help that Lightning was designed to be a female Cloud.
Do we really need some pretty boy with floating swords around him? I mean, really.
FFXIII had pretty bland story line too. I really just didn't like the flashbacks to Laguna or w/e. Too skippy of story telling for my likings.
And FFIX had solid designs for me. It was a little kiddish, but the characters themselves were fairly unique. The system was pretty cool for me too. Much less of a hassle then collection 100 fire spells and 100 water spells only to use it and recollect it. Stupid bullshit. Summoning failed me after a while. X_X
Learn your fucking roman numerals, people
and Laguna's bits were the best part of the game.
How the hell can something be "kiddish" or "childish." I never understood this.
THIS GAME IS FOR KIDS BECAUSE PEOPLE AREN'T WEARING SPIKES AND PUKING BLOOD FROM THEIR ASS WHEN THEY DIE
All adult games NEED BLOOD AND VIOLENCE AND EMO PEOPLE WEARING SPIKES WITH GIANT SWORDS AND 97 SCARS ON THEIR LEFT ARM.
Let's not swing to the other end of the spectrum. Things can definitely be kiddish. Unless you tell me something like Berserk gives the same vibe from its characters as Pokemon.
I don't see how something giving "different vibes" makes one 'adult' and one 'kiddish.'
Happy, simple stories are solely for children? WELL GODDAMN MAYBE I SHOULDN'T BE IN COLLEGE YET OOPS
One vibe reminds you of adults, the other of kids. What's not to get? FFIX's characters gave me a vibe that reminded me of kids.
No one ever said kiddish stuff should be for just kids.
@Minster_Anbu:

…
Then why the hell do you call it "kiddish?" I mean, wow. Come on now.
Last I checked, all Final Fantasy titles are marketed to the same age group. It's not the same as comparing BERSERK VS. SESAME STREET DERRRRRP.
Shut up .
Hush,
The ultimate being of manliness:

I like how almost all the "Most ____ game" threads eventually turn into Final Fantasy discussion.
Blame VII & VIII
@Geg:

Exactly what i was just thinking.
Well then, to aid in the FF discussion, VII will probably always be my favorite if only because it was the first FF game and the first really epic game I've played. I know it's a really shallow reason but I don't care.
About some of the others being discussed, I liked VIII at first, but the more I played it the more bleh it became. I still love IX though.

I wish more people admitted to this since that's probably the reason why it's liked so much.
Unfortunately, people equate MY FIRST RPG with BEST GAME EVER MADE.
Frogger: The Great Quest sucked goat.
That game was riddled with bugs and glitches, it crashed on me a couple times, the acting was ear-stabbingly painful, the combat was glitchy as all hell, the whole game was just terrible.
Although I did like the Metal Gear Solid 2 reference.
I think Frogger stopped being good after the original.
@Sandai:
I think Frogger stopped being good after the original.
I dunno, the PS1 remake had its moments.
They just need to never make another Frogger game like Great Quest ever again.
Ughh don't remind me.
I'm also nominating Crash Of The Titans (DS) as a sorry ass game that's just sad.
