There are no problems in raising a child that can't be solved without resorting to violence, as long as you're willing to put a little effort into it. Giving them a smack and parking their ass in front of the TV is not good parenting (it's easier for you, yes. but it's not the way to go).
Who said anything about television? Screw that nonsense.
Cyringohn's future daughter will receive a good pimp slap if she does anything wrong, but she'll learn what to do and what not to do beforehand. However, violence does not automatically equate to some form of militaristic household. She will receive the love and caring she deserves, as well as the backhands and back-of-the-head smacks. S'all about moderation and balance.
As previously stated, there's a huge difference between the occasional slap and a full-blown lifetime of abuse.
