@Fire Fist:
I'm pretty sure Shanks meant Blackbeard going out on his own by "taking a captain's position". Blackbeard's not dumb, he knew that Whitebeard would get shit no one else could get, like Logia devil fruits.In case you haven't been paying attention, besides Enel, the only logia fruits that haven't been obtained by the marines are those obtained by Whitebeard crewmembers.
As for Mihawk not being a part of Shanks crew, why the hell is it VERY unlikely? It's actually VERY LIKELY. Whitebeard remembers the duels between Shanks and Mihawk. Do you honestly think that he took time out just to go watch Shanks and Mihawk fight for no good reason? Of course not, that's just stupid. Whitebeard was watching his subordinate fight a subordinate of his rival's crew.
You made me quote myself…..
@Phenomenol:
He DIDN'T take a captain's position, he didn't take the fame.
He could of been a captain on Whitebeards crew but he was….......
He was spending all of his time hiding in the shadow of your name!!!
Which means he was hiding behind Whitebeard......
Blackberd could have been a captain on Whitebeards ship and NO it did NOT mean of his own crew..... It really is common sense, please don't make too much of it.
As for your Hawkeye's being apart of Whitebeards crew….
Whitebeard: It passed in the blink of eye, to me…
But plenty already speak of them as legends.
The days of the duels between you and Hawk-Eyes,
they are still fresh in my ears… When you came from East Blue,missing an arm… well, EVERYONE was shocked.
"Plenty speak of them as LEGENDS" They are still fresh in Whitebeards EARS! That means the duels between Shanks and Hawkeye's were famous enough for him to hear about them and possibly he had SEEN a few battles up close, as they became a legend. How does ANY of that prove that Hawkeye's was part of Whitebeards crew?:wassat: Like I said Hawkeye's information is HEAVILY limited all we REALLY know about him is that he is the Greatest swordsman in the world his background has yet to be confirmed. Heck he could of been ALSO on Gold Roger's crew if you want to think about it!
