Rumor- New Street Fighter movie, anime and…game...
-
-
New movie - nay (unless it's like Mortal Kombat 1. That was decent)
New anime - Yay? Never saw the animated series.
New game - YAY! Especally if it's some kind of "Street Fighter Trilogy" or Street Fighter 4. -
I'm not completely sold on a a new SF (Capcom old SF developers are not toghether anymore). Hopefully the people who did Generation don't touch the anime, if they don't, it should be a good SF anime. As for the movie, it's not even out yet and I hate it.
Why do they keep giving Ken & Ryu the shaft when it comes to movies? Oh well, hope the new game is interesting (SF is my favorite game series ever)

As long as the game is related to neither, I'll be kind of happy.
I can't help but think it'll be another lame collection, though.

The movie will fail without Raul Julia.
And wait…doesn't Capcom USA own the rights to SF? The same Capcom USA that made Final Fight Streetwise? shudders

Ya know I forget about Capcom USA having the SF rights. I'm now 99.9% sure that the game & movie will completely suck. Man it makes me mad how SF is being treated by Capcom.

remember the days when street fighter II (although super street fighter II: was my favorite incarnation, if only for the look) was new and it rocked the shit? i wish we could go back to that sometimes when i see what has happened to the series (coughSFEXseriescough)

I didn't think the EX series was all that bad. Sure it wasn't as good as Rival Schools or Alpha games but it somewhat played like the original SF series. I play EX3 with my friend a lot, we have a blast.
Nonetheless, the old days were great. I was buying Capcom games like mad. I'm talking Rival Schools, the Alpha games, 3 series, the Vs. games. I was a Capcom fanatic (still am but to a lesser extent). ANything remotely SF related, I probably had it (gamewise).
