Looks like Shane Strickland might've signed with AEW. Which is a great pick up for AEW.

V. Surprised if Claudio doesn't end up with AEW in the next few weeks, seems like it could be the correct fit for him given his links with people there pre WWE days
-
In before people start disparaging him from leaving.

Tag team, midcard, upper midcard, whichever spot Cesaro is placed in he always knocks it out of the park. Wherever he goes next he's gonna kill it.

–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Here's my prediction for Tony's huge announcement. I think the announcement is AEW got a streaming deal with HBO Max and Tony bought ROH and it's video library.
-
Tony Khan doing things that “actual” wrestling fans should care about.
Nia Jax doing shit no one asked her to do.
-
Man… The entire thing with CYN is just a train wreck. I don't see that company lasting a year.
-
Ohhhhh that’s what CYN is referring to.
What happened to the good old days of calling your company a “wrestling” company.
-
Looks like Cody isn't going to WWE now.

Am I the only one puzzled by anti AEW people on Twitter who criticize everything the company does and when called out for it mention how they shit on WWE.
But if you check their profiles you see a lot of retweets from them involving someone praising or applauding something done in WWE?Like if you’re going to criticize AEW fine but don’t criticize them for something and then play up WWE for being better in someway.
And most importantly study your wrestling history so that it doesn’t lead to things like shitting on AEW for bloodying up Punk in the MJF segment wondering how TBS could allow this, the same TBS that back in the day aired
COTC2 Miami Mayhem infamous for angle in which Lex Luger got jumped by the Four Horsemen who proceeded to bloody him up.End Rant

Yeah, I'm also puzzled by the anti-AEW fans. Since most of them are pretty much hardcore WWE defenders and they don't want to try something else besides WWE. Heck, TBS in the past had a lot of crazy wrestling moments like the time that Dusty got a spike in the eye by the Road Warriors, which lead Dusty getting fired from WCW. One thing for sure, I'm thankful that AEW, NJPW, Impact, and all other the promotions are around right now.
Speaking of the Vince interview. Vince's comment about all of the released talent being dead weight was just gross in my opinion.

He’s ribbing when he talks about how awful Micheal Cole is but making remarks about fired talent “wellll he’s not wrong”.

“We don’t need smart, eloquent wrestlers”

Here's the Strickland vs. Wayne match that been getting great reviews from last week.
-
NXT Champion Dolph Ziggler……..what!?

Strowman thinks the CYN show during Wrestlemania weekend is going to better then ROH, GCW, and the other indies shows.

I'm happy to see Jeff in AEW. Now, I hope we get a Jeff vs. Darby match.
-
I'd be happy if Jeff somehow manages to get his demons under control and hopefully not flameout for like the 4th time.
-
WWE just ruined another NXT wrestler. Poor Pete Dunne…

WWE just ruined another NXT wrestler. Poor Pete Dunne…
Not the Bruiserweight Pete Dunne who they once had work an episode of Raw under his original name?
Also hope Big E is doing fine after that awkward looking suplex.
Edit: Fuck Big E has a broken neck thankfully not Droz style.
But still.
-
I hope Big E has a speedy recovery.

Scott Hall is on life support. I hope he gets better.

Kevin Nash give an update on Scott Hall.
Fuck, that was heartbreaking to read. Rest easy, bad guy.
-
Wwe just confirmed it.
RIP Scott hall
-
X-Pac just confirmed it on twitter. Scott is going to be missed. Hall and Nash always going to be one of my favorite tag teams.
-
Great main event on Dynamite tonight. Both Rosa and Britt did a great job.
-
Triple H is officially retired from wrestling.
-
Honestly for the best. Even if he didn't have his heart attack, he's in his mid 50's.
-
Yeah when Undertaker candidly admits Goldberg nearly ended what was left of his career in “That Match” it should give some perspective to all these 50-60 something’s trying to work like they’re in the 20’s & 30’s.
And Triple H already had that pec tear in that “other match”.
-
Plus, he was an active wrestler for the better part of at least 25 years, wrestling pretty much non-stop for WCW then WWF/E. That's a hell of a lot of wear and tear for anyone. And, he did take steriods pretty hard, which isn't helping things either.
-
It's crazy, while Triple H and Taker are retired. Sting, who just turn 63 is having a really good last run. It's sad that we never got Sting vs. Taker, but Sting is having a good final run being a mentor to Darby.
-
“There’s a lot of title runs I’m not proud of just because I didn’t do anything with it, but when you look at it, it’s multiple feuds with multiple women that I dropped the title to. One of my favorite matches of all time was a main event on Raw where I dropped the title to Bayley in 2017.
Forgets her not dropping the title to Asuka in 2018 which was followed by a feud with Carmella no one asked for.
Or not dropping to Paige in 2015.
Or dropping the NXT Women’s title to Io Shirai but not getting pinned for it. Despite weeks of heat on Io.
Or her & Sasha playing hot potato with the Raw women’s title in 2016 which benefitted her more than it did Sasha. Especially as she Ultimately won the title back in the end effectively making the feud pointless.
Also that Bayley match good as it was was marred by unnecessary run ins from Dana Brooke who hadn’t been on TV in months rubbing in to help Charlotte (who prior to disappearing was going to turn on Charlotte). And Sasha running in to stop Bayley from being screwed over.
“I don’t think the same criticism always goes toward men being in the title picture. In this business, you want to be the champion. It’s not like you wake up and say, ‘Today, I don’t want to be the champion.’ No, you should always want to be the champion. That means you’re the hardest worker in the room when you’re holding that title. Yes, I don’t understand the criticism sometimes, but at the same time, my haters make me that much better.”
Clearly wasn’t paying any attention to Hulk Hogans title reigns in 80’s/90’s or Triple H’s reign(s) in terror. Or hell Brock Lesnar’s shit reigns with the titles over the last several years those title reigns did not come with zero complaints from fans. Also yes you can say you don’t want to be champion especially when you’re someone whose been champion so many times over a period of time it’s made you redundant while hurting the rest of your division.
In less irritating news ”both” The Steiners have been announced for the WWE HOF
-
I can't wait to see Scott with a live mic.
-
Toni Storm is now signed with AEW. Great pick up for AEW.
-
Guess that explains Marko Stunt being let go for budget reasons.
-
Well, we're finally here now. The start of the new ROH. I'm curious where TK will take the company.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Breaking News from Supercard of Honor, Samoa Joe is now signed with AEW.

Wrestlemania just got worse…. Jake Paul is there.
