Great show for AEW tonight. I like that Taz is bringing back the FTW championship.
WWE and other fed: Disccusion

I have to admit, I didn't expect Evil to turn on Naito and join Bullet Club. Dominion tonight is going to be really interesting with how will this storyline go.
-
I didn't expected that to happened at Dominion. Evil defeating Naito for both IWGP Heavyweight and Intercontinental Championship. The post match stuff with Hiromu coming out screaming at Evil was actually pretty scary.

Well, I mean….he's literally called "King of Darkness" EVIL.
-
Rusev apparently contracted Covid (alongside Lana's parents)
Jesus even after leaving WWE this guy still gets fucked on.
-
I hope Miro and Lana's parents have a heathly recovery. This really shows how bad WWE is handling the pandemic.
-
Apparently this is the reason WWE finally stopped being dumbasses about masks
-
AEW was great tonight. I like the ways that they are trading Cody's heel turn. Sonny is continuing to improve with each match he have. I like the revealed of Vickie being Nyla's manager. Also Vickie's theme music is perfect for her and its catchy.
-
So Sasha and Bayley screwed Asuka out of her title (2nd PPV in row she's not won) and though the company officially disavows the title change. Sasha get's an immediate rematch without giving Asuka back her title she didn't officially lose.
Is this July 20 2020 or December 28 1997

AEW is already off to a great start with one of my all time favorite Indy wrestler, Eddie Kingston just show up and challenge Cody for the TNT Championship. I hope AEW signs him. Eddie in my opinion is one of the best person that currently do a great promo.

Been reading an interview with Anderson & Gallows from Ryan Satin and some interesting tidbits.
- They were considering signing with AEW & ROH as early as last year
- HHH practically hounded them to resign, and ultimately they were offered big money contracts that were worth more than what AEW & ROH were offering.
- This caused some friction with AEW since they apparently had plans for them that got thrown out because of Triple H throwing those contracts at them.
- Heyman was big on them
- They pretty much contradict AJ Styles assessment regarding the circumstances surrounding his transfer to Smackdown. Which AJ himself contradicted himself on.
- Much like the Luke Harper situation Vince tries to pass off firing people to those underneath him, eventhough Vince is generally the one chiefly responsible for any layoffs.
- They pretty much regret resigning with WWE.
- They shat on WWE's story regarding the incident in Saudi Arabia.
The thing with AJ is probably the biggest takeaway how do you blame someone because they got your friends fired, then acknowledge that guy wasn't responsible but you still hate the guy? Like Paul Heyman is a liar and a guy whose made a lot of enemies in the business in part because his lies and penchant for making promises he can't keep. But really, AJ comes off looking like a whiny dumbass.
This on top of the Eric Young interview where he pretty much called them WWE out for basically overlooking and dropping the ball him (which kind of funny given how badly TNA did this with him for years…...repeatedly).
-
Fuck you Vince McMahon just Fuck You.
-
As much I like AJ as a wrestler, the person behind the character is not really that cool. Especially with the stuff like him being flat earther and stuff makes me really disappointed about him. You can't really trust Heyman with anything, especially knowing how he screw over a lot of the ECW wrestlers back in the late 90's and early 2000's. The Saudi Araba saga, just keeps getting more interesting as things comes out about it.
In my opinion, I'm thinking all the shady things that WWE had done over the years are starting to get back to them with more things are coming out. Especially with Dark Side of the Ring talk about how Vince try to cover the Jimmy Snuka incident and try to bribe the victim's family with money. The sad thing about this is WWE only cares about the brand of the company, not building new stars for the future.

Kairi is done with WWE.

I like him throwing Dixie Carter under the bus for how bad TNA was (as he should).Eventhough Apparently Vince Russo did nothing wrong even after he had the book to himself (along with him apparently getting Cornette fired). He also apparently doesn't blame Jeff Jarrett for much eventhough he brought Russo in which his father advised him not to and apparently being the one who reached out to Dixie.

@Johnny:
What did he do now?
Sasha beat Asuka for the Raw Women's title the week after their Extreme Rules match was rewritten to have Asuka get her title stolen by Sasha. Which happened after Asuka got counted out.
And this on top of Vince bullshitting about how he plans to Improve Ratings.
-
Nick Aldis is not too happy with Bruce.
-
The Artful Dodger Strikes Again.
-
MJF's promo from last night was amazing. He's continuing in my opinion being the best heel currently.
-
I love the current era of WWE shills (or trolls)
Insist that Raw getting record low ratings is still better than what any other wrestling promotions with national TV gets even while ignoring NXT’s traditionally low ratings that have repeatedly been surpassed by AEW.
Insist that Tony Khan is somehow worse than a guy who continued a live PPV after one of his employees fell to his death.
Think that every criticism is unfair and that those criticism is guided exclusively by support of AEW.
Talk about how the current ratings and PPV numbers is the fault of WWE relying on smaller wrestlers and utilizing the women much better (but still poorly booked). Instead of relying on aging stars, overexposing talent fans have long since gotten tired of some of whom are not terribly good in the ring, devaluing titles with awful reigns that are either exchanged to quickly or carry on for too long, attacking the fans for legitimate complaints, repeatedly undermining talent who should be pushed, bad commentary that’s needlessly overproduced, focusing too much on getting the brand over instead of getting talent over, illogical storylines that often ignore continuity, poorly written TV leading to terribly setup PPVs, bad finishes, years of indoctrinating fans into think bad stuff is good stuff, and good stuff is bad stuff, over long promos that open/take place in the middle/ or end a show. etc
Actually believe that bringing back Vince Russo would boost ratings somehow ignoring Russo’s run in TNA garnering close to the same or beneath Raw’s current ratings.
That them posting strong earning numbers somehow mitigates the problems with the product as is.
Constantly argue that the reason for why someone isn’t over is because they can’t cut promos or doesn’t resonate with the crowd while the company pushes people who can’t cut promos or isn’t resonating with crowds.
Like when did TNA fans morph into WWE fans.
Also
Vince briefly spoke on Heyman but said he did a good job.
"As far as Paul Heyman's concerned, he did a very good job in terms of creativity," Vince said
I guess Laurinitis was doing a good job too as VP of talent relations despite being a fuck up and lasting longer than Heyman did in either of the four creative positions he was put in, in spite of it.
-
I can't stand the WWE shills at this point. Especially, when it comes down to ratings between NXT and AEW. Ever since the first episode of NXT starting to become a 2 hour show, I have this feeling something been off with the show. Since lately it feels like they are hot shot some matches just to counter AEW (Both nights of Great American Bash against Fyter Fest). The 2nd night of the Great American Bash is one of the worst episodes of NXT that I have seen in a long time (includes the Network era episodes).
-
The thing I like about these people regarding NXT and how it's never made much money for WWE which is essentially shitting on WWE. It's like they ignore the fact WWE has spent years essentially telling people that NXT doesn't matter and that anyone from there that gets called up to main roster barring a few exceptions doesn't matter or isn't on the same level as guys like John Cena, Randy Orton,Nikki Bella, or Jinder Mahal (who technically was apart of the original version of NXT before it completely took FCW's place). That and NXT mostly doesn't do shows in large venues like the main shows.
Also I shouldn't be surprised they would hot shot things eventhough that traditionally tends to be a bad idea in the long run. Definitely will be interesting to see how things pan out for both in the coming months. And what the narrative will be if AEW continues to climb in the ratings.
-
AEW signs Eddie Kingston. Which in my opinion is a great pick up for them.

-
That last five minutes of Smackdown makes me wanna tune in next friday.
-
You’ll only get yourself hurt.
-
Here is AEW's schedule change for the upcoming weeks for the NBA playoffs.
-
I haven’t bothered reading the comments on the story but just imagine the WWE/Vince Stans in the comment section still swearing by Vince as they get buried for blaming all of the low ratings and questionable booking entirely on Heyman.
Also a major superstar is returning to Raw and it’s
! SHANE MCMAHON…........sike
-
And of course the WWE Defense Force is giving Miroslav shit with of course bad faith arguments.
And as chaotic as Raw apparently is I’m interested to see how they further bury Asuka (which I shouldn’t be) but wanna see what they do so I can remind these shit heads how badly their excuses concerning the logic behind her booking has been.
Also LOL at Ruby and Liv beating the IIconocs days after Ruby jobbed to Shayna, and Shayna laying out Sasha.
-
Raw Underground look really stupid. And its ripoff of Fight Club.
-
Should we expect a mindfuck ending too?
-
Now… we're entering WCW 2000 territory.
-
I mean we already hit that when we had Brock trying his Best Tank Abott Impression on Raw with the briefcase and The Royal Rumble.
-
I can't believe there are some people that actually like the Raw Underground stuff. A lot of the stuff on Raw tonight was pretty much on par with WCW 2000.
-
Judging from what I've been seeing it's getting that Cena post 06 reaction.
With a large amount of mockery with some token "hey this could work".
You're also ignoring the numerous mor…...er special individuals who have said with a straight face they'd watch 2000 WCW over modern WWE.
-
I know, A lot of people don't watch AEW Dark. But man, each week this show continues to be great. The show reminds me of those Coliseum Home Video matches, but it's better matches.
-
What’s the point of this if they find something he’s doing time, if nothing comes up he looks like a crazy man in addition to a homophobe.
-
All Raw Underground needs is blackjack and hookers.
-
I'm not really a fan of the current storyline in NXT with Cole. Because I didn't like it when we had the same storyline with Gable last year.
-
Could be worse he could be doing easy jobs like Rhea Ripley's been:ninja:.
-
While I can appreciate them doing another cliffhanger ending, Retribution so far haven't been that intimidating, not like how the Nexus were in their debut.
-

Which became something of a moot point with how WWE utilized them before and after the invasion.

Kamala passed away.

LOL Tough Enough was how many years ago?
-
Wow…Just wow. Another reason why WWE aren't building new wrestlers and only focus on the brand.
-
The finished TNT title design is an improvement.
-
The new version of the TNT championship looks really nice.
–- Update From New Post Merge ---
Great episode of Dynamite tonight. I'm happy that Orange Cassidy got the win against Jericho. Also the card for next Saturday's episode looks really good, I'm looking forward for Cody vs. Brodie Lee.

WWE disappointed us all again.. Somehow Velveteen Dream is able keep his job with all the stuff that came out the last several months.

This is the same company that tolerated and excused the shitty behavior of guys like Shawn Micheals, JBL, Bob Holly, Kevin Nash,& Bill DeMott. While cultivating a shitty environment that encouraged hazing and bullying (and then having the balls to team up with Be A Star). While being run by the most pettiest, self serving & shittiest individual imaginable. So it shouldn't surprise you.
They also still have Lars Sullivan under contract.
-
I totally forgot that Lars is still under contract with them.
