If he found that out, his brain would pop. Wadou is the only meitou (?) that isn't used by a dickhead. If he were to give it up, not use it or discard it then what would happen?

Ah. No. She's too young.
I'd find it more likely that Tashigi and Kuina were twins. She's about the right age for it -
I thought zoro lived at the dojo for a long time it wouldnt make no sense for her to be alive and not with her dad… its another person i'd say. maybe a lost sister.

In the manga Kuina's dad is much more of a prick. He doesn't give Zoro that speech about how because of Zoro, Kuina was growing as a swordsman. He comes off as not really having faith in his daughter, or even being willing to support her dream.
I'm not sure that he's capable of murder, though. I mean, he could have just as easily arranged Kuina and Zoro to be married so that he could pass the dojo on to him instead of Kuina.
wait a minute i just read zoros flashback in the manga, we dont no what he thinks about kuina. im confused now what if kuina came too the conclusion of her being weak by herself? in the manga kuninas father barely got any lines i didnt see any lines from him after the point where the students nag him about kuina being stronger.

Or…..
Kuina was killed by her father Koujiro, only at the time he wasn't Koujiro- his body had been possessed by an evil demon! After making him push his daughter down the stairs, the foul creature relinquished its hold on him temporarily, so that it could enjoy the horror, guilt, and sorrow Koujiro-sensei would feel. The reason he let Zoro take Kuina's sword, and why he's proud that Zoro is becoming such a strong swordsman is twofold: Firstly, he wants to see Kuina's dream fulfilled, even if she's not the one to pursue it. Secondly, when Zoro has become the strongest swordsman in the world, he will challenge him to a duel to the death, so that he may be rid of the demon that still plagues him. But where does Tashigi fit in to all of this?
Tashigi is a direct reincarnation of Kuina. Although Fate has seen fit to give her a chance to take up her past life's dream, the demon that possesses Koujiro-sensei is manipulating her to weaken Zoro's resolve.
In short, the whole thing will play out like a jidai-geki, with Zoro releasing his old teacher from the living hell he's trapped in, receive the dying man's thanks, and be reconciled to Tashigi. He will then walk off into the sunset, to further hone his swordsmanship and maintain his title of 'Strongest'.

I need to proclaim it before someone else does, even though it is incredibly wrong.
KUINA'S FATHER'S TRUE IDENTITY IS SHOU TUCKER FROM FMA:
!

clears throat Now that that is out of the way. I have to say that anything is possible. Kuina probably did fall down the stairs and got amnesia. Kuina's Father retains a firm belief that no woman can ever become the greatest swordsman and that is a mentality that could make him never want to see it happen. Therefore, when he discovers that she has amnesia, he sends her off to the Marines, claiming to Zoro and the others that she had, in fact, died.

this was the theory my post was supposed to quote, and i'm not entirely sure why it didn't…
a thousand pardons for the double post

This sounds pretty reasonable.

Coming from a guy that respects Gin-san enough to have him as your avatar, that means a lot. (No sarcasm intended. Gin-san is cool.)
