You HAVEN'T seen the original DC animated series!? For shame, sir.
Justice League. I mentioned before I'm familiar with other animated shows in the DC line.
Justice League never really interested me.

Watched it this evening with some friends. We all really liked it, tho we did jump at how brutal alot of the deaths were. I'm not totally into comics or previous incarnations of animated series outiside Superman and Batman TAS, but it was neat seeing the power shift in this universe. We enjoyed seeing Superman actually take damage, and while I don't know who most of the characters were.. my friends were jumpy at all the reversals that happened with already established characters. My only gripe… I guess I felt Wonder Woman wasn't explored enough/had screen-time/moments, or had much of plot that resolved sort of like Batman and Superman did.
If this gets a series, I'd definately give it a look. This also motivates me to atleast give the orignal JL cartoons a try.
You're in luck! There's apparently a 10 episode thing planned for next year.
Not sure if its the 10 minute or 30 minute kind through, or if it'll follow up from the movie.

JL is actually insanely well done. I really recommend watching it sometime.
If I could pinpoint one good defining attribute, I'd say how down to earth and realistic the character/structure progresses through the series. From the role of Cadmus, to the expansion and ever adapting JL itself. Which is even greater when the two begin to intertwine.
And finally…..Luthor! Awesome as always.

I didn't like Unlimited as much, sure it had some good storylines, but just not enough Flash for my liking. Tough i get why they expanded it, from the original 7, which i enjoyed a hell of a lot more. Though it woulda been nice if Aqua man had actually been part of them, given how much of a badass they made him to be….
Oh right that, uh, Bruce Timm thing. Too bad some Asian dweeb went and derailed this thread God knows how many times :ninja:
! I can't be the only one who got Watchmen vibes from this, no?
! Oh and ditto-ing everyone who said that Batman's sideplot was the weakest.
