Yeah, Croatia would definitely be my number one pick too. It's just that Ireland hasn't seen that much success on international fields in the recent years, and I'd like to see them do well for a change. Like I said, let's wait until the match kicks off. If Ireland doesn't play well or plays ugly, the decision will be an easy one.

If I my eyes didn't deceive me, it wasn't an offside. The first pass would have resulted in an offside whistle if the ball had reached any of the strikers, but it was stopped by the defenders so no call was made. It was then jumped on by a Croatian attacker who shot it at another defender and only after that the ball bounced to Jelovich.
I need to see another replay to be certain, but if it went like I described it the referees made the correct call.

I'm rooting for Ireland, no real reason, mostly because they went 1 - 0 down. Let's see if they can come back again in the later half.
