Also, Sonic Adventure will only display in 4:3 with blue bars surrounding the screen because SEGA had a hard time figuring out how to code in widescreen. Crazi Taxi doesn't have this issue though.
Hmm….these aren't sounding too great to me...

Pfft. That's nitpicking to the finest degree. What matters most is this: Are the games still fun?
The answer is yes.
I dunno, part of Crazy Taxi's charm WAS the music. So changing the music completely changes the mood of the game to me.
If CT doesn't support custom soundtracks, you can easily turn the music volume off in the Options menu and then play the music through your console without worrying about it overlapping with the in-game music.

I guess you can do this on the 360, but not the PS3. Unless the game supports custom soundtracks, that is.
Well, the good news is the PS3 version supports it. Admin on the Sega message boards let that bit of info slip when people started saying Sega "ruined" SA and CT by not making them available in widescreen and without licensed music.
Xbox gamers get to indulge in the mediocrity/badness of the Sonic Adventures.
I'll be playing it for the nostalgia..
Although recently I played a preview of Sonic Adventure and it was pretty.. well, not good.
Seems like the quality is the same then.

So do PS3 owners.
That's even better.
I've always heard a lot about Crazy Taxi. Is it really that good, or just a fond memory for many gamers?
It's a very fun, fast paced arcade-style game.
It's obviously not gonna last you a long time, but it does provide quite a bit of entertainment whenever you do play.
Bumping for you Saturn fans: Sega's considering releasing Saturn titles eventually.

“What we announced this time is a project where we will have consecutive releases of titles that were debuted on Dreamcast. Separate from this, we’re of course thinking about ports of Saturn games. It’s the same as how Sega Ages and Virtual Console were separate existences. It’s not that we have no intention of porting Saturn titles, so please share your requests.” - Yosuke Okunari
