It's MAHVEL Vs CAPGOD 3 BAYBEE!!!

Don't make me Aerial Rave you Insider…
But seriously thou... 100 characters.
Remember that number.
-
I dunno about all thes echaracters. Capcom couldn't balance MVC2's roster for shit (look at that shit in the videos posted last page. That shit's like broken-ass MUGEN characters), so just adding more characters might be a step in the wrong direction. But, who knows, maybe they're adopting SF4's many ways of preventing those dreaded infinites. And simple combos. Leave the long combo strings to BlazBlue and Doujin fighters. That shit works for them, not for Capcom.
I remain skeptical. MVC2 hurt me so much… That kind of wound to the soul is hard to heal...

Cap'n… I'm not one to like a broken fighter.
But it's MvC3 and if the only way to get 100 characters is by sacrificing Balance...
FUCK BALANCE!
:ninja:
-
No fighting game player worth his salt would ever say "fuck balance" dear sir. I'd rather have 10 balanced characters than 100 imbalanced ones, because when you do, the other 90 are useless and you're stuck with 10 top-tier imbalanced characters.
So fuck 100 characters, I'll take balance any day. SNK pulled it off regularly in KoF with those games' massive rosters, after all.
-
Right, because I worry about balance when playing with friends.
God knows, if my brother-in-law beats me in a fighting game. I don't complain about the game being unbalanced. I just rush towards him and start a new fighting game called, "How fast can you punch a shoulder?"

This one does…
But only because it's MvC3.
If this was Street Fighter I'd be singing a different tune.
But the Vs. games to me have ALWAYS been about chaos and insanity on screen with mega rosters (Capcom Vs. SNK 2 was wub on balance AND characters).
Just controlling the infinites would do it… surely they can program a "hit cap" of sorts. That alone would fix a COUPLE of problems.
Them saying SFIV in the spoiler bullet points makes me believe there's some balance already so we might be crying over nothing.
That being said
[hide]100 Characters… mark my words[/hide]
Then again I did miss out on SNK for 6 years so big rosters with balance was a HUGE suprise for me come Capcom Vs. SNK2.
-
"How fast can you punch a shoulder?"
Me and my brother used to play that all the time!
And it was always after I beat him repeatedly with Sub-Zero in Mortal Kombat 2 for some reason.

Sub-Zero in MK2 was so OP.
And Scorpion Teleport juggles…wtf!
-
Happens to me with Super Street Fighter 2.
I can sometimes beat him on Street Fighter 4 using Viper, but that means nothing to me.
Playing him on Brawl is far more satisfying.

God I hope so. If Deadpool ends up being in this, and the game ends up horribly unbalanced again, and Deadpool ends up being useless compared to the top people, I may very well commit murder. Straight homicide, yo.

Not gonna lie… I share the sentiment with the Fantastic Four.
Why the FUCK have they not been added yet is beyond me.
Reed Richards ftw

VScapcom.com was registered one year ago, roughly around the same time Marvel vs Capcom 3 started development. However, the site is used primarily to host Tatsunoko vs Capcom (tatsunoko.vscapcom.com), but it would be odd they would use this URL if they didn’t plan on having another subdomain.
And just recently, this Twitter account, owned by Capcom USA
http://twitter.com/marvelvscapcom
Went active after months of inactivity, with nothing noteworthy, but odd it would happen right now after such a long hiatus, even if there is nothing of note to say about it.
Special thanks to polarity for this information.
And a small nibble of information: There will be one new character from the Resident Evil franchise in this game. Who? You’ll have to guess.O_O!!!!
-
God I hope it's Cindy Lennox!
-
A new Resident Evil character? If better be Wesker or Leon S. Kennedy so help me god!
-
Chris Redfield and Wesker…
GIEF NAU!!!
-
God I really hope it's anyone but Leon, Chris, or Wesker.
ALEXIA ASHFORD! YES! DO IT!

Hahaha, I think Wesker would be awesome! Alexia Ashford is a good choice however.

I just like sexy accents in my games, especially British.

Retro retro.
The first game the series was X men children of the Atom developed by Capcom in 1995. It had to be one of the hardest fighting games I have ever played. Jugernaut was such a … bitch. Finishing the game is already a form of miracle.
However, the final fight against Magneto was one of the greatest boss battle ever made. It is so hard but so epic.
Overrall, capcom did an outstanding visual work to capture the atmosphere of the X men animated series. They even had the same voice for Wolverine in the anime. Magneto's entrance was so epic.
bRnCruTvZ7U&feature=relatedInteresting note. Akuma was a secret character. I guess Capcom had an idea of making a cross over. I guess they were sorta experimenting the sprites at the moment.

Its probably gonna be Chris Redfield if anyone.
If only to complement Jill (assuming she's staying from MvC2) and keep the RE5 fire burning.

I never get anything I wish for!!!

Wish for Chris Redfield!
Hurry!!!

Wish for Chris Redfield!
Hurry!!!
Ah, why bother.
Besides, wishing is just for babies and…...heroine addicts.EDIT: I'm seriously considering making her my avatar.

Moments like this is why I wish Capcom published No More Heroes instead of Ubisoft, I want Travis Touchdown up in this bitch.
-
No Buuhan… no.
-
I still kind of wish Bayonetta was in this game with Jeanne.
-
Can we get Mike Haggar in this bitch, wearing a Mayorial suit with a pin that says "Vote Haggar"; spinning niggas left and right?
You JUST released said pin Capcom.
Bring me Joy!
:cwy:

I keep forgetting that Bayonetta is SHIT, not Capcom…

I agree I do not want Chris Redfield and not a blond Jill for the love of god.
Chris" I guess it is worth it". This had to be one of the worst lines in the series with good voice acting.
-
That line is just fine if you interpret it as "I'm totally getting a threesome."

Marvel vs Capcom 1 was here.
MvC2 was a faggot. Let's hope 3 isn't.

-
He was paroding an old Pokeman meme.
-
Please explain why?
Porb the same reason Shmeckie fears this particular one…
Balance nightmare.
Or maybe "I wanna take you for a ride" was too much for my Omega Captain.

Yeah it's the horrible imbalance along with the fact that I'm an artist and all sort of originality that MvC1 had was stripped from it's sequel. That game had no soul.

The bolded part Cap'n, what did you mean by that?
Agree on the other two even if I am a HUGE mark for that game.
-
The game had bad music, the stages were horrible, the various select screens were bland and unimaginative, and the story was nonexistent. Which is funny, because it did have a story, but you couldn't tell by playing it.

Agreed on the bold parts.
I don't know why I like those stages to be honest. I just don't mind 'em I guess.
We can only expect no story (or endings) in this one thou… I mean the roster is GOING to be over 50 (going by that leak) so I doubt Capcom will create THAT many endings when they know they can get away with one LolEnding.

I basically agreed with the "story" shit.
Select screens were a bit shitty.
I didn't find the music that bad.
The random voice shit in some songs was annoying though.I would agree with you on the stages, but I loved Ruby's ship at night.
Although, I'd prefer Marvel vs Capcom's approach with stages.
Home stages.
They could had done home stages for a group of characters.
Street Fighter / Darkstalkers / X-Men / Megaman / Spider-Man / Hulk / Captain America / Iron Man / CyberbotsBut, that couldn't happen, cause I'm sure EVERYBODY (56 characters?) couldn't have stages nor theme songs.

I totally agree with you man.
Marvel vs Capcom 1 had an incredible atmosphere.
The cast was short. However, it was more balanced and you want to take everyone. You felt the game had a more personal identity. MVC2 looks more like a simple copy and paste of the previous character games sprites.
The character select theme is incredible. It really pumps you up and you get into the atmosphere.

Howver, I think Marvel super heroes tops Marvel vs Capcom 1 in terms of atmosphere, stage, colors.

Despite the fact you posted Marvel vs Capcom's epic "Player Select Theme", I just can't help to notice that when it came to that post, your games kept getting older and older and older.
I'm shocked I didn't see "X-Men: CotA" again.
I'm sure I'll see you in the future trying to build a Time Machine.
Of course, I ain't no psychic, but you will fail.

I just freaking love that theme so much. It has nostalgic values when the arcades used to be the shit at the end of the nineties.
I just thinks these games remain excellent despite being old. They are a good example of exploiting the ressources you have to make good games.
Today, I cannot count the FPS anymore. It seems ot has become the main genre. Screw you Bill Gates with your freaking Halo.
-
To expand on what Zkaiser said about the atmosphere, one big thing MvC1 had over 2 was its boss: MVC2 had some made-up bullshit guy that just turned into random gooey things. MVC1 had fucking Onslaught! One of the most epic Marvel villains of all time, and my personal favorite of them! And then there's his theme:
eZkF6kHQ8Qs
I'll take that shit over some uninspired jazz music anyday!

Onslaught > A

Street Fighter vs X Men and Marvel Super Heroes vs Street Fighter were really my favorite.
MVSC2 had its own kinda of balance imo. Everyone in the game had an infinite even Dan.
But with Capcoms track record with SF4 and TVC being good I would have hope that they will have some sort of balance.
