In October of last year, the internet newsmonger Henaki correctly identified the ten new characters arriving in Super Street Fighter 4. This was months before the final announcement of Hakan, and as Henaki's predictions became true his reputation as a major Capcom insider (or more correctly, a friend of multiple insiders) grew. Henaki's at it again with a second major announcement, and a third smaller announcement.

Marvel vs. Capcom 3 will be announced in May of this year. And Super Street Fighter 4 will have a PC version.

Apparently they've been working on this game at the playtesting level for close to a year. Personally, I find this news to be incredible, but I also hope that they rebuild the engine from the ground up, because some of the X-Men vs. Street Fighter and Darkstalkers 3 sprites in MvC2 look like ass. Cheers!

This isn't that much of a surprise to be honest. There was talk about this all last year when ever Capcom had announced the MvC2 release on XBLA and PSN. Capcom never denied it and said that there could be potential but never confirmed anything.

Anyways, an obvious shoe-in character is Deadpool.

I actually think Marvel vs Capcom was the best of the series.

Quite simply, the atmosphere, the presentation, the music were top notch.

The roster was shorter but well presented. You wanted to pick every character. Unlike MVC2, the game was more banlanced.

The fight against Onslaught was memorable.

My only doubt about this game is that the roster will be lowered. With how good Tatsunoko went, I think they might want to aim for quality instead of quantity.

I heard that too. It's kind of confusing though. I mean, I'd imagine it would kind of take up space similar to Jin's mecha-punch super in MvC2, which covered most of the screen, and that move never was all that threatening.
