@CatManDo:
I have a serious dilemma. My attempts at starting a discussion of ideas are repeatedly shot down and then butchered relentlessly, and finally killed with a quick snap to the neck, then spit upon and roasted for fat cackling bastards to gloat over in a log cabin.
It's the internet. Deal with it.
@CatManDo:
Basically, I'm not on a venture to "convert" people. As of right now, I'm sort of unsure religiously. Now, Oda knows about his impression on young people. he obviously feels strongly about kids, and I'm not afraid to state this. Idiots would take that the wrong way, the sames morons who lampoon Michael Jackson's tragic life. Oda isn't trying to destroy anyone's way of thinking, but look at the other mangas on his level of popularity. Naruto and Dragon Ball are sort of science-expositional stories with very little life messages in them. Oda is one of the few doing something…deeper. Why can't we discuss these intelligent ideas, without fear of being lambasted and basted and debased over a fucking fire?!
Your first post was to lambast people in the war thread. You even specifically said that was why you signed up:
@CatManDo's:
HOLY shit. I had to sign-up only to write in this discussion.
You guys are acting like you're straight DICKtators, talking about who should go here on the chessboard, what they'd do etc…and so like a dictator, because you can see a lot happening in the world(via the story), you think you got everyone down in a filing cabinet.
Stop it. Just because the manga is portraying a war, that's not reason to emulate it. Cool it and enjoy the manga. Oda will play it out better than any of you, and going back to old scenes is like re-writing the story. There's a term called 'canon' for a reason, it means it's already set in stone. You have no influence, make your time some other way.
So you have no standing in this matter, and apparently don't even like debates. Also, you're trying to equate a childrens comic with deep life messages, and also differentiating about the morals between comics like dragonball and one piece, which carry essentially the same shounen "message" of good prevailing over evil after working hard.
@CatManDo:
Why, when South Park is a show that can only lampoon and destroy other people's cultures? Didn't they offend one of the cast members with that episode? Don't be hateful or demeaning because you have no light in your life, except the fires of Hell that await you….not that I am condemning you or believe in Hell, but it seems that's what you are afraid of.
And here you moan about the jibe directed at a religion started by a sci-fi writer, whom in a room full of other sci fi writers stated that a religion was a good way to make money. And don't note that the cast member in question had been fine when other religions were given this treatment, and only balked when it was his own.
@CatManDo:
Please, for the love of my sanity, give me an answer. Degrade me, hate me, or write something long and thought-out. But to ban me and delete my threads…it's not how a normal person should deal with anything. Don't forget there are also humans behind the screens.
Your thread was nonsensical and didn't even ask anything or call for discussion. It was a statement, not a question.
