I can see foruichi being one of those characters that come off weak but end up doing bad ass things. I can see it next week he ends up kicking there asses or K.Oin that leader of theirs. Aoi's subordinates (can't remember there damn names) in swimsuits are smokin. Also the begining of this chapter had me cracking up.

Yea i can see him fighting them off in a more realistic way and not like how Oga just 1 hits them all. Though he might get his motivation as "I want to look cool in front of them." I expect Aoi's right hand woman to fall for him in due time.

It's obvious that Oga won't help him. I think he is gonna be a little more badass, but in the end the girls will save his ass. I don't think he will manage to get them all, or at least he will beat the boss and the girls will take care of the others.

God damn, furuichi finally grew some balls!
All in all a very bland chapter, some jokes but not much progression in relation to the future chapters build up. Still the last few pages made it worth while. Makes you question his strength, is he weak or was the last chapter some kind of bluff. Most likely the latter.

Yes there is a good chance, it is becoming a Weekly Shonen Jump Hit, but we will have to wait at least two more years.

Do you mean useless fillers that makes you lose respect for the series and stick with the manga only (assuming one is reading it), fillers that don't ruin it but are not necessary, or just no fillers in general (which I doubt any series can escape)?
Furuichi better kick some ass because right now I'm wonderin' why he goes to a delinquent school when he gives off the impression of 1) being able to go to a better school and 2) of being more of a pacifist? I think Oga is involved somehow, but right now, he just doesn't seem to belong.

I use to enjoy fillers really I did at one point but since naruto and recent manga to anime adaptions. Fillers are not fun at all. They tend to fuck up the storyline, put in shit that has yes to happen or hasn't happend . Continuity is horrible example: in a bleach filler ep one of the characters get's cut across the chest. A scene later that cut is gone and the animation in fillers are god aweful it's like a retarted version of the authors original creativity. The only filler I even liked was that of one piece.

I wonder how long it will take for this to have its own fan base/forum? I cant imagine it gaining much recognition till at least chapter 100, so any animé, fame or forums are unlikely till we at least hit that mark 8(

This manga hasn't matured or anything yet. Currently it's just at "stayed alive past the first round of cuts". Now it needs to mature to being around for about a year before you could call it a real hit. It has to last past the intro arc and do long arcs and still be interesting. Plus it needs to get good volume sales and such. Then maybe it can get an OVA or CD Drama or something, then maybe an anime around the normal time mangas get them, like chapter 120 or so.
Like Toriko stayed popular for a long time and got the OVA for this year after only 54 chapters at the time.

Yeah, I have to agree with you on those points especially when the fillers come at you in large chunks (10+ episodes).
Let's hope that if Beelzebub gets animated, the fillers are used sparringly.

You got to admit Furouchi has style he's clearly the strategic fighter. That whole giga dean part had me cracking up and I loved how he tickled that leader guy that head butted his ass.

Furuichi is actually not that bad. At first I thought he maybe just there for banter between him and Oga but he's shown to be much much more. I wonder how pissed Oga's going to be after his small stunt? I see some ass kickin. lol
So overall not a bad chapter. Not much in the way of plot but Its still entertaining to see these mini adventures happen between each fight. First the park, then the swimming pool, what next….the mall?

Maybe this is why he's in a delinquent school. His fighting style is dirty. But i like it. We'll probably see him bruised next chapter though. Oga didn't look to happy, though he snapped out of his little trance. Also i think Aoi's right hand girl, is gonna fall for him.

Furuichi is a great "uncle" for Baby BL. He's got cunning, which Oga doesn't have, which is a good trait to have for a future demon king.

2nd Panel: Furouichi is shown with a comical fat lip big black eye, the other eye also looks swelled but his eye can still be seen: yep (my face hurts)

I don't understand why everyone thinks once we get some more mythology and battles it'll become dull and lifeless like Bleach and Reborn. Look at One Piece, a battle manga that still manages to make us laugh and balance it with serious moments.
There shouldn't be too many demon parents anyways. I mean how many kids could be children who could be the heir to demon king?
