Oh there is a thread for this Manga. I've found out about it at chapter 6 so been following it since then, and i love it. It's got some action and a lot of funny. I agree it has potential to be a hit, but i don't think it'll be a hit like One Piece, Naruto and Bleach are. But i'd be happy to be proven wrong.

I too can't wait to see what Aoi replies, i hope it's a yes, but i'm wondering if Hilda would have a problem with it. She already lost to Oga when Beelzebub chose him as the father, what will she do if Aoi is chosen as the mother, i smell a cat fight.

Hmm i guess Hilda doesn't mind Oga trying to give Beel away. Though i'm still hoping for a fight between the two.

I love how everyone hypes up the mood by saying how merciless the group is and they're all taken out by Hilda. Also the final member of the Touhoushinki looks promising if his aura was strong enough to make Baby Beel notice. If and/or when a fight breaks out between Oga and him, i hope it's one that actually lasts more than 1 hit KO.

The best thing about this chapter was that character introduction while they were getting there asses kicked by both oga and hilda.

Toujou looks like a mad character, i have a feeling that he will be allies with Oga, i think that Oga will go into the Demon World within the next 20 chapters and Toujou and Kuneida, Furuichi will be his allies. Its kinda like this:
Oga = Ichigo
Hilda = Rukia
Toujou = Chad
Kuneida = Orihime

Damn this just get funnier each chapter. Cant wait to see how this progresses, but I get the feeling this manga wont be that long, or at least no way near as big as the top 3.

So far I'm rationing the goodness (only a few chapters per week) and have reached about half way.

That scene in the park is just gold, child abuse! lols

I read up til Chapter 6, and while the series is good…the scanlations make it hard for me to understand stuff sometimes @_@
If this gets an anime adaption, I'll watch it, so long as it keeps with the feel and pace of the manga.

I don't see why it's only OK for series that are good for it to be expected to get better, but not series that aren't doing very well.

They're both rubbish right now, but I read bleach in the hope it'll get better, and I read Sasuke because it's so bad it's hilarious. That's because I personally see little hope for Sasuke now.

Neither me nor GM said it's not ok to hope that either series get better.

Well I only read Naruto til 444, and the 40 so chapters I read til it were pretty entertaining IMO.
As for Bleach, I'm just waiting for my homie Kenpachi to start kicking ass again, though the Top 3 Espadas are good IMO.
Though now that the Ichigo battle is over it might pick up.

Furhtermore, I read both series bi-anually; I catch up every 6 months :V

Eh who knows it may end by chapter 100, but when would a manga like this get licensed in English? Fairy Tail got licensed a few months after it's release, wonder if the same will happen to this?

All this confusion over why people still read Naruto, why.

Even if it remains shit till the very end, I have to know how it all turns out, how each character will complete their goals and the overall fate of the nations/people involved. Its excruciating but I must know how it all pieces together. I would do the same for 'one piece'. Even if it turned shit I would hold on till I found the answers to all the questions we've all wanted for so long. I think of Naruto as Lost, each episode leaves you with such disappointment, but the you hang on in the hope of an epic finale/conclusion.

(Only season 1 and 2)

Any way, the reason I like this new Manga (beelzebub) is that its the kind of plot that doesnt really need following, its main points are its comical chapters and not the cliffhangers found with other manger series. Now don't get me wrong, the plot is important, but you could still drop in at any chapter and still enjoy it, Which is a great alternative.

Plus you have to love the chapter lengths?

Anyone notice how we never see the aftermath of the cliffhanger directly? He just switches to a "remember when that happened" form.

But I like that. Still, that's what I'm worrying about the Aoi vs Hilda thing.

So who do you all think will win. Aoi or Hilda. My money is on Hilda. Since i don't think Aoi wants to fight her. She only wants to hurt Oga for playing with her heart, even though that was not his intention. I hope we do get to see i good fight between Hilda and Aoi though.

There is almost no chemistry between Hilda and Oga, and Hilda is a doll with no interest beyond giving the baby the best experience to become a demon. If she's not pursuing those ends, she's going to put up a weak fight.

On the other hand, Aoi is not genuinely malicious, so that's a critical weakness.

I'm still rooting for Hilda. But maybe it will end in a draw and Hilda accepting her as the mother. Since it's true that Hilda only wants whats best for him. In this case, a heartless bitch who'll beat anyone that even looks at her wrong. But Aoi doesn't seem like that type. She is a protecter. She is good. She seems to only fight as a last option(She'll probably kick Oga's ass without talking, but that's a different story.). That's why i think Hilda will win. But who knows we really haven't seen how strong she is in a fight. We've only seen her cut walls with a wooden sword. But in the end it's all up to the Ryuuhei.

I think jealousy is going to play a strong role in this fight on Aoi's side

Yeye Aoi has it.. and i believe that Hilda will understand how cruel and how evil Aoi can be, so he will probably try to put her alongside with Oga. Basically, it's almost certain that they will end up being some sort of a couple and the baby Be eL will be fucking happy

@ Geppettomonster: Looks like you might have to wait until after the next chapter or two to see the face of #1.

Have to say that I should have known that the fight would be short and sweet especially since Hilda was only there to test her strength, but it was nice that Aoi forced Hilda to drawn her sword.

I wonder if in the next chapter, we'll learn whether Baby Be'el was happy to see Aoi because she's strong or because he recognized her from the park. I highly suspect the latter myself.

Yes it wqas short, but it was expected. Also happy that Hilda doesn't think she's at Oga's level yet. But maybe she will think different after the fight with Oga and Aoi. So anyone else think it was actually the fourth boss of the school that did it and not Oga?

I'm pretty sure Hilda was sizing up Aoi to see if she'd make a better father than Oga, rather than her trying to determine if Aoi would be a good mother.

They didn't look that damaged, so it probably wasn't Oga or that Toujou. I don't think Oga would hit women either.

I don't think that Toujou guy is a bad dude either. The other two of the 4 delinquent kids were, and Aoi's rather sweet so it would seem likely Toujou wouldn't be either.

Plus, the baby cried when he saw him. If Toujou were malicious and bloodthirsty, the baby would be in awe of him like he was of Oga. So, IMV Toujou is probably the gentle giant who happens to be a beast in battle. :V

Aoi and Hilda's battle was short but sweet I enjoyed every second of it and I doubt that oga beat the living hell out of Aoi's subordonate's only thing about this chapter I had a problem with was that there really was no comedy.

It will be super generic of Oga didnt hit those girls. But if he did… damn, something else is goming up. But I think he didnt... and that fight between those... shamely short. But angry Aoi is damn good.

I agree, he wont ever reach that point, I doubt he would even hit Hilda.

Anyway I wonder how the next chapter will go, will this leader be revealed (Or at least if he's good or bad). And will they truly battle till the end or have an interruption of some sort?

The fight may have been short, but I saw a brief glimpse of awesome there. I'm looking forward to this series having an all out fight in the near future. Should be golden when it happens.
