Speaking of Boxer-
BIKE MONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEYYYYYYYYYYYYY!
Street Fighter 4 (and some other crap!)
-
-
People actually think his lose quote refers to bike money?
-
I do believe they know it's 'MY FIGHT MONEY!', but it does sound like 'BIKE MONEY' sometimes as well.
Plus it's hilarious. I'm keeping Boxer's voice in English. -
Best flowchart ever…!
EDIT: I'm having WAY too much fun doing this boss thing... Thus far, only one guy has won this (and he was cool about it; sent me a message saying "yay! I beat Shadaloo and won the game!"). Most can't get past Bison, and a few stumble at Vega or Balrog. What's cool is you can see alot of people I fight really start getting into it. One guy was getting visibly angry (I could tell by his increased aggression) after making it to Bison, then losing (he had previously been stuck on Sagat).

here are some interesting matches from Korea-

ANyone who masters Seth like that has my instant respect!
Also, that one guy is horribly weak to being crossed up on the wakeup. And I thought I fucked up on that every once in awhile…
-
Well the Championship DLC update should be available soon.
-
Doesnt it cost like $25 for that download?
-
^Nope that's been proven false, the update is free-

Arlong Park residents, I'm tired of twiddling my thumbs and listening to background loops while my PS3 fetches me a random scrub. Online I'm "righello" and I'll use anyone except for El Fuerte.
-
I was reading about it was wondering why it said 25$ fee when it was supposed to be free.
I can't wait for this update.
EDIT : Also the 360 Update seems to be the better update. From what I read.
-
^The $25 thing was from Kotaku :P
-
^Bastard's D:
Well I need someone to practice with so anyone want to play in like an hour or so?
-
The new update comes out in a week?! I thought that it wasn't coming out for a long time. Happy days my friends happy days!
Lately I think that I've been enjoying player matches more than ranked matches. It kind of feels like the old days of Street Fighter that way, and I don't get people pulling their connection on me to save points, which is a plus. There is nothing worse than a dirty disconnecting douche.
-
There is nothing worse than a dirty disconnecting douche.
Having someone call you out for a supposed lack of skill just because you beat the shit out of them with little effort ain't?
-
So the other night I was finally able to pull off Guile's Super-Ultra combo against Shmeckie.
In addition to that, you know that video posted earlier with Dan's Super/Ultra interruptions? Pulled off the exact same thing with Guile during a Balrog fight. Twas awesome indeed.

Earlier today I finally tracked down a Street Fighter IV fightpad in person after weeks of searching. It's kind of funny that the day I find one in person is also the day I win an auction for one online. After playing with it all day I have to say it is THE BEST PAD I've ever played with hands down! I've been playing Street Fighter since the Super Nintendo and never have I had a controller that was this comfortable and easy to use. No more random uppercuts when I'm holding down. No more jumping when I double tap back. I beats the XBOX 360 controller unconscious then rapes it's entire family to death. Killing people online has never been easier! I hardily recommend that each and every one of you track down one of these magnificent contraptions for yourself. It is worth every penny. /Mad Catz commercial
Friday simply can't come soon enough! I'm completely excited for Championship Edition. To be able to play in tournaments has always been a dream of mine, but they were always on the other side of the planet. Not anymore.
By the way, what systems are you all playing on?
-
it's good that someone brought the fightpad up again. A while back I wrote a review, bitching my head off about them (cause the ps3 pads needed batteries.. psssh). But after spending a lot of time with them (I still don't think i've changed the batteries yet either)… i gotta agree with yah, these things really do rock! The pad itself makes pulling off the Hooligan combination a breeze. The buttons are just perfect themselves... and it's easy to pull off ultras. Good stuff
-
I couldn't imagine bothering with anything other than a PS3 control, the regular one. I don't think I do anything much more difficult than Guile's wake up Ultra.
-
I've found the Fightpad pretty handy for tackling a few of the trials in challenge mode and for some of the Shoto characters.
But for the most part, I'm using Guile and I've gotten to the point where I can pull off Super/Ultra with ease with a 360 thumbstick.
BTW, the new Championship mode is out. Seems pretty interesting, I kinda like it better than the other ranked matches since I can tinker around with my Dan game and still get a little bit of credit for it.
Currently a G3-C rank (the middle of the low tier :ninja:)
-
The latest DLC update patch seemed to have also updated some character elements, for example, FeiLong's flying kick was altered removing his infinite against Abel and Seth.
-
Havent download'd the update since I don't have Gold at the moment till tomorrow. Can't wait to play Tonfa and Shmeckie.
Also does this update make a lobby or it just changes the ranking system?
-
The Championship update adds an extra mode of play to online. So, no it doesn't change the ranking system a bit. I'm also really liking the Championship system. I've had much more consistently good fights from it. I find championship points to be more indicative of a higher level player than ranked points.
-
God dammit, they pick now to release their update?! When I'm hooked like an addict on KoF2K2UM?! Bastards…
-
Loving the Championship mode. Right now im G3-C close to a G3-B.
Most of the matches I played so far are really good players while some are still suck players.
-
Right now I'm at a G3-A somewhere around 1300 grade points. Aside from the occasional laggy match everything is honky dory. I've been switching up my main guys lately so instead of using Zangief or Cammy I've been using Seth or Chun-li. You have to play so much differently with Seth and Chun-li. You won't be absorbing any combos with them! Hell two Hard Punches and you're almost dead. It's all a vicious game of keep away, and I adore it.
-
Seth has incredible Stun damage output, along with great mind games if u use his warp properly.
I'm not sure if he got changed with the update, but if you watch the vids I showed in Page 66 you'll see some basic combos for Seth that cause a fuckton of Stun damage. -
I just got the Championship thing an hour or so ago, and I'm at level G3-B right now. Pretty fun, though the awesome M. Bison face wallpaper in the Championship mode is probably the best part. ;)
-
I'll have to install this sometime in the near future and try it out. It looked interesting in all the previews and definitely should be better than the current quick game lobbies.
-
Just watched Shmeckie's match and it was a good watch. Still havent reached more than 5,000CP to upload my replay's D:
So far im like 665GP and still a G3-B. But Feel im gonna level up soon :D
-
I uploaded that by accident… I don't even know what I do with it, or how you saw it...
-
Speaking of which, would there be…some sort of way to save the match and tranfer it to a PC to YouTube-ify it?
Or Hell, anyone know of a good way to capturing 360 gameplay?
-
Best I know of is something like my Dazzle I use for Brawl matches…
-
Anyone want to play some matches?
-
It appears M. Bison's Psycho power is too much for even X-Box Live to handle…
-
It made the connection explode. Great matches tho but barely got to your M.Bison just to lose in seconds haha.
-
anyone has the mp3 of the character select music… im addicted to it LOL
-
I feel like a total newb at this game since the only Street Fighter I played was 10 minutes in an arcade years ago(SF1 or 2). Good thing I don't play online(because I can't due to my router yet). It would be a nice change of pace to learn from losing agianst online players.
-
Capcom community manager Seth Killian said that there will not be any Street Fighter IV character DLC, but there will be more play modes and costumes in future. The reason is that they don't want to split the user-base with character DLC, new characters will be possible for the next game.
Well that's crap.
However….Street Fighter V confirmed?
-
Super Street Fighter IV Turbo
-
-
The reason is that they don't want to split the user-base with character DLC,
:wassat:Split them how?
-
Because then you'd have the issue of "what about people who didn't download the new characters?"
-
Super Street Fighter IV Turbo
Nah, it's going to be Super Street Fighter IV: The New Challengers
-
Because then you'd have the issue of "what about people who didn't download the new characters?"
They've seem to already split people with the costumes.
Which I really can't believe people are actually trying to make a big deal out of.
-
There's a huge difference between not having costumes, and not having entire characters.
-
I know that much just can't say the same for everyone else.
-
There already is a split between Arcade/Console. I don't know why you couldn't have another split and than have enough content to warrant an expansion disc worth 20$.
But this just gives them another reason to release either SFIV 2.0 or SFV
-
But this just gives them another reason to release either SFIV 2.0 or SFV
And people excuses to bawww on about how Capcom is milking the series and them the consumers but unlike them I for one have no problem tossing down the extra on a deal like that.
-
I too would by the next SF game.
I just hope they make another update soon with an actual lobby to have 3-4 people in the room than just 2 per room. Hate leaving one room to play with one friend where I can have 4 in 1 room.
I'd also buy the next Alt. Outfit set :X
