I suspect Wano's final episode will be the final episode of 2023 but right now there's only what, eight or nine chapters left to cover? Since that's not enough to fill out a full cour either the TV channel will spam some more of those recap specials (there's one already scheduled for the week after 1078 I believe) or, what I think most will prefer, a few pseudo-filler episodes to flesh out post-climax since yeah, the way Wano ended was one of the most obviously-rushed parts of the whole story. There's precedent for it like that one episode at the end of Zou that had the Straw Hats helping the Minks treat Zunisha's wounds.
This episode was pretty solid and made striking and effective use of silence during the emotional moments with Hitengu, Toko, and Yasuie. I wasn't expecting anything stunning in terms of animation after gestures @ Onigashima and was pleasantly surprised by the eruption sequence in the second half. Even the scene of Yamato confronting the Beast pirates, while not super sakuga or anything, was presented in a lively way when no one wouldn've blamed the team for cutting corners.
