      @looking_at_you:

      Fixed that for you Mangastream! 😆

      Mangastream: "We've had some major mistakes and lots of typos in this weeks #One Piece chapter.
      We are not sorry about that however it's all fixed now so m__ake sure to reread it!"

      Hahaha, I absolutely love this place, and the amount of sand some of you people have in your vaginas.
      Honestly, it's making my day every time to check in, although I sadly don't have the time to do it very often.

      We're completely open to suggestions and getting the mistakes we make pointed out to us,
      feel free to email me under zidane@mangastream.com if you find anything iffy and I'll check with our translator asap.
      (As much as I'd love to read them here first-hand or on facebook, I don't have so much time to waste lately :sad:)

      And don't change your attitudes towards our completely free and voluntary service to which we have committed ourselves reliably for over a year now,
      I'm enjoying getting linked to some of the mad and big-mouthed comments here, you might think it would be upsetting but it's the complete opposite, I honestly mean it!

      Hating is caring, and hate is fuel - in that sense, keep rockin'!

      PS: The apology was honest though, I meant it, OP is my personal favorite shonen too after all.

      You're still one lovely leecher, regardless who's. This is not the right platform for this, sure that mistake was made, who'd deny it, but it was fixed within half an hour or so, issue solved for me.

      B is the second highest, A is the highest, S is the same skill-level as A, just that the S people offered to check other translators and give them a rank.
      For a fact molokidan is already a professional translator while cnet is still studying. Now I know everyone has his personal preferences and some may prefer cnet, while others prefer molokidan, but let's not get into dissing and insulting people who do a great and free job for you…coughlovelycough leechers every week. 🙂 Let's not become disrespectful here.

      Yeah right jason slow, thanks for mirroring our work eventhough we explicitly ask not to. And then even with a money-making profit-link, I hope you make some moneys off our work, it was our pleasure.

      @Urouge:

      All I said was that you reserve translations. I don't care that you guys do this, but don't dodge it and imply that I'm unfairly criticizing. It's this exact type of thing that prompted my initial post.

      And again you fail to understand something, it's starting to get annoying. We don't have the power to reserve translations. We.just.don't. If translators decide to, it's their free choice. Of course they saw some kind of advantage in reserving their translations for us, but ultimately it was their decision. Fact.

      @wintergt:

      I don't mind the more rude translations, but those watermarks just got twice as big with the group join and they're pretty annoying. Can't you guys release a non-marked version after a few days or something, if international groups want to steal they'll be way behind anyway then.

      Could be an alternative which me might consider in the future. Honestly though, I'd feel to lazy to do it for the handful of people who'd care to get the other version, it's not like I don't have any other things to do.

      I can perfectly live with your statement, brennen. You're right about molo not following OP before he started it for mangastream, but his great advantage is his big motivation and him being almost always available. You know how it is, we are super fast, people complain about us not using their fav translator, we wait 2 days for cnet, people complain about that too. Ultimately it's weighing up our speed, our available staff and the kind of feedback we receive from the users. Most just don't care for cnet (and even read shitty spoilers) but only the speed things are released at, apforums is a hard base to debate about it as it full of OPtards (hey, I'm one myself, stfu). Cnet isn't our available staff, end of the story.
      Btw though, Naruhodo joined Binktopia for tl'ing OP, he's a huge fan. Said enough about the other points.

      @Urouge:

      Hey, you guys are free to do as you wish, and I'd never say otherwise. But when you do things like reserving translations so that others can't use them, adding watermarks, and worrying about other groups stealing, then your actions seem to totally contradict your statement about not caring what other groups do. Honestly, I'd be happier with a statement like "we just want to be the best." Then I wouldn't feel like I was reading some fake PR statement.

      A.) Don't make it sound like we forced a translator to reserve his translations. it's everyone's free choice to do with his work whatever he wants to - we were happy we had exclusive translations for a while, if you want to blame anyone for that though, go contact the translators, it were their decisions ultimately.
      B.) I made my statement on watermarks already, what's the point of brining it up again? They are there to spite those who are stealing and ignoring our simple "don't mirror" policy. Who have been ignoring it for weeks, months, years. We had watermarks in 2008, not like it's a new thing. Who knows, maybe they'll be gone again, but the barrel is full right now.
      C.) I had just explained why it's not contradicting, way to go ignoring that part. Again, just for you, I don't care what other groups do, means I don't care what Franky House does, what Ieatmanga does, what Sleepyfans does, and what all the other english groups do. We have an "ignore all others" policy regarding that. There were many comments from other groups, in their release notes, mentioning us, often in an offensive way, we ignored it all, we don't care.
      What I do care about is when some international "scanlators" (some, haha, hundreds!, literally) take our scans, empty the bubbles, rip out the credits page, and release the scan, acting as if the 15 hours my cleaners put in the scan were put in by them, crediting themselves for "editing" - holy fuck they had to use the brush-tool to delete our translation!
      Have fun editing out the "annoying" watermarks, I'll be enjoying reading their mails, complaining about it. Actually, I already got 2 in, both from groups that just steal our scans. Greetings to brazil from this point, hola dudes, good luck with the "editing". -_-"

      I've said more than enough already, sorry for the rants.

      Do you want a tissue Hinscher? Someone's whining here.

      @Urouge:

      Wait, I'm confused. First there's "Also, it'd be our first time caring for what other groups do, I guarantee you, that is not the case." Follow by, "I'm tired of reporting 15 stolen versions of our scans every week on mangahelpers, mangashare and other sites, and I'm not even trying to go on the spanish sites that have only stolen scans per se." :unsure:

      It's a shame that the scanlation industry became so ruthless. I did like Binktopia well enough, and I've liked the high quality scans that mangastream has produced. Adding watermarks just to spite other scanlation groups is only going to make me prefer the work of other groups who don't use them, though. I'd imagine it's the same for a lot of people (while there are plenty who won't care).

      I apologize for the rant in a thread like this.

      Simple explanation for that one. By groups, I mean english scanlation groups. Those who actually CLEAN manga and translate from Japanese to English. Not those who just take someone else's cleans, and translate from english to 3rd language, making the whole scan a joke. English groups generally don't steal cleans, aside of those 2-3 exceptions, like Franky House's stealing cases, but that's another story.
      As for the spiting other groups - it's for spiting some websites also 😉 think about it what you want, but after swallowing for so long, people will have to swallow some in return as well. We're doing a free service here, it's not our job, we are not professionals, we have no obligations. Take it or leave it, I don't care.

      PS: As for everything in life, there are some exceptions here and a few international groups that clean their own raws and translate jap -> their language, do exist. A really small minority.
