Oda coloured the throne red on the cover of volume 90. Which was right there in Redon's post with all the download links. A little hard to miss.

In cases without Oda's art to compare with, the only real measure of what hasn't come out and intended is if it was altered for the Vivre Cards, which to my knowledge has only happened with Morgan, Helmeppo's original outfit and Vitan. Out of thousands of characters, the colour manga's track record is pretty damn good. I'd defer to it over the anime for colour accuracy.

(This is of course excusing cases where Oda himself has flip-flopped, so, Kuma's orange/blue clothes, Law's blue/black hair and Franky's blue/black Wano outfit, where the colour manga had to pick one side or the other)

Gosh, I missed the cover. My bad. I knew they kept track of A LOT of characters, even ones like Pearl that kept the original colours instead of the anime's. It's a shame that they changed Kuma's colour in his first appearance (it could have counted as a different outfit to me), but I understand that Oda changed the colours cause he liked the blue one better.
The fact that you can count only three characters talks about how much they care about this.

Well, is that Oda's actual planned colour? Who knows. I don't know if they are always picking the right colours. I think at least Morgan's colours were wrong.

Everyone talks about Robin, but what business would Chopper have outside Drum Island???

My bet is that given the case that he has a X Person chapter, it will be because of something similar to what we saw at Thriller Bark: he will get mad at the crew for not respecting a renown Doctor, or something like that.

Please elaborate. My proposal is to explain why Carrot would be fit best as the last one. I believe we all agree that means to be the most awaited and one of the most special assets to the band.

I still support sanji vs burgess because he is the mot proeminent member next to BB himself and Shilliew, just like it is with luffy, zoro, sanji. And role that is not fighting based doesn't count since we know nami will fight devon and lafitte brook.

But the fruit power burgess will get will sure make more clear who he is going to get. Like if he gets a bird, jimbe can't fight him, just sanji.

Well, don't blame Jinbe for his late appearance in the manga, but he's actually closer to Luffy than Zoro.

Yeah, but. The point wasn't about the matches but if Carrot is special enough as to be the last one. Also, if the band will be complete as to match the BBs having into account that probably the last member will likely be super powerful and important.

Jinbe VS Burgess is quite obvious. Helmsman VS Helmsman. Martial Artist VS Wrestler. Distance physical attack VS Distant physical attack. Shooting water through the air VS shooting air.

I think Carrot is the one with most chances of joining, and she's also my favourite candidate. I've been playing the devil's advocate here time ago, tho. And now I come back with a new doubt: Is she really that special as to make HER the last Straw Hat? Also, I've read theories thas she could match Devon in the final battle against the BBs, leaving Nami as the only Straw Hat whose VS hasn't been revealed yet. BUT, are Nami or Carrot special enough in regards to power and background as to be the counterpart of the last (and therefore, most intriguing and likely, one of the most powerful) member of the BB pirates? What can you say in favour of Carrot about these topics?

Luffy only referred to Chopper as "Reindeer" during Drum. Same for Brook and Jinbe.

No, the logic behind that is that Law would have taken their hearts to force them to cooperate should they meet again. Law is smart and scheming, he's dealing with pirates and "pirate alliances never end well", so the hearts would be his failsafe. However, upon encountering Luffy in the New World, Luffy just colaborated with him without need of leverage. Also, Luffy treated Law as a friend all this time, never as a mere ally of convenience. But there was never need to use his little trump card, and being ultimately a good guy, Law would finally reveal what he did and give Luffy and Jinbe's hearts back because he now considers the Straw Hats his friends. It's a nice way to conclude their alliance.

Yea, but being that the case Law learned how he could trust Luffy back in Dressrosa, so that would be the perfect time he gave Luffy's heart back. Remember how he was ready to give his life away just to take Doflamingo down, and how he trusted the straw hats would defeat the shichibukai with no doubt.

Even when narratively and to the One Piece world taking Kaidou's head is much more important, to Law, the most important thing Luffy could do was to defeat Doflamingo himself and avenge his late beloved Corazon.

Plus, let's be honest, by the time he came to meet Luffy's actual personality and he stated that "an alliance is like being friends", he probably realised he could trust him, and would have given his heart back then (perhaps secretly in order not to look suspicious, though).

And in my opinion, at the end, Luffy will probably betray Law, in a childish way, but will do so anyway. Maybe this statement doesn't make so much sense but I feel it's gonna be like when they stole Skypiea's gold xD.

I don't think Law did that. Especially having into account that the alliance will no longer exist after they take Kaidou's head. He wouldn't just give the hearts back while patting on their backs saying "good job, here's your heart that I took from you two years ago without you even realising" xD.
