My parents know of the show, and can pick out the characters I have cosplayed and know there names. It's the same with Naruto. But now that I don't live at home im sure they have forgotten it all by now….

I agree. The only thing that I can think of besides pure luck and just being a cool flag, is that the leader of their crew has a similar scar. In which case they searched for "Jolly Roger with scar" on google. shrugs

Hey all (kinda sorta new here) I went to Oni-con this year, and I actually ran into Mr. Bushido. Which I met previously at AX. Just a really small world…. I met him by commenting on his cosplay. I never thought I would run into him again, or for that matter online. Oni con was a blast though. I feel bad that I missed out on a lot of it though, because I helped run the battlegrounds panel (which was quite fun). But it was good to run into a whole bunch of old con friends. Which is I think is becoming one of the only reasons why I go to conventions now... just to see people... -X

I will most likely keep enjoying for many years to come. But people do change. I mean I never thought that I would start to dislike certain other animes, it just kinda happens and you start to loose interest. I have yet to dislike anything about One Piece, so hopefully I will enjoy it till the very end. Or until shonen stops printing it, which I believe that if they (shonen) did that many many fans would revolt against shonen and end up take over the world.

As for your lead breaking all the time, you might want to play around with different pressures applied to the paper with a pencil.
In one drawing class i took my teacher only allowed us to use an ebony pencil. Man i hate those now… but they are good pencil's to start with because they are so sensitive to pressure ( light pressure = light line Heavy pressure = heavy line).
You just kind of have to experiment.

To greatly improve drawing, try working on just certain body parts, like work on ears one day, just drawy a whole bunch of ears, then noses, eyes, hands (work on those alot… they are tricky) Also, use a pencil, dont even worry about pens and markers right now. You want to be able to fix drawings. Also try shading instead of coloring right now. It will help you with line control and technique.
When you get good, I recommend getting a basic set of Copic markers, they are expenseve (about 5 dollars per marker) but they are worth it. http://www.copicmarker.com/

Drawing takes time. If you work on it everyday, you can get up there with the best.

I would also recamend getting a french curve and a circle guide, cheating yes, but when you are first starting out they will help you keep things even. You can get these at any art store, or basic supply store.

I agree that zoro's new sword should not be a DF sword. There are a couple reasons that it shouldn't be one. Zoro wants to become the strongest swordsman. If his sword has a DF power it would kind of be like cheating. Also, DF have weaknesses, like if they lean towards one element they are hurt by another.
I can just see zoro getting a cheap sword at first just to replace it. But then latter on getting another cursed sword, or another rare swords.
