However, I don't really like Doffy's father. He may have some noble intentions, but completely fails in the execution. The opposite of complete luxury isn't complete poverty. Considering that his deceased wife was lying at such a miserable place just shows me that he even let his family members die for his ideals instead of actually doing everything that his wife will not die (like going to better doctors).
Doffy may have been a spoiled brat, but blaming his father for his mother's death seems completely justifiably to me.
I don't think the aim was to leave in complete poverty, but just leaving a normal life without any privilege. Then it's possible that because he lived such a long time in complete luxury, he wasn't able to adapt to the normal life and ended up like that or the World Nobles decided to use their influence to make his life the shittiest possible.

Anyway, Pariston, Ging, Beyond, the Zodiacs… This arc has some nice potential. I'd like to see some members of the Trope there to spice things a little more.
The way I see it. Whatever Dofla is trying to do is none of Fujitora's concern, the admiral will try to protect as many citizens as possible, but he will stay blind to Mingo's action. Thats how I understand this page:
He isn't after the stars, because he doesn't care about Dofla's business, he is just following their initial plan: stopping Law and Luffy's alliance while protecting the citizen, but as he said in this page, he won't try to stop Doflamingo.
I hope Oda will clarify this in the next chapters, but so far, that's the only explanation I have regarding Fujitora's action.

My homeboy Cell doesn't get enough love around here. He is my favorite villain in the whole franchise. I really liked his lack of ambition, it offers a nice change compared to the usual overlord you get to see in most stories. Seriously, why the hell would you like to run the world, sounds like a pain in the ass if you ask me.
When he was stronger than everyone and could have destroyed the world he held a tournament and goaded a kid into killing him.

Yeah, but why would he does that? He wanted to prove to everyone and himself that he was the ultimate warrior, and that nobody could surpass his strength. Destroying the world would have kinda ruined the point, since he wouldn't have seen the full potential of the Z team. I think he was an intelligent villain in the way that his action always matched his objective contrary to Frieza for example who could have killed everyone pretty easily when he knew he couldn't use the Dragon Ball anymore but he didn't for no real reason.
"There are 28 big cities, and I'll randomly destroy 1 each year. That means that if you're super lucky, you'll get to live 28 years before I destroy you!". When you were a kid and you put yourself in that situation, it was SCARY as hell. Cell? "If there's not anyone strong enough, I'll destroy the planet and then. . .hmm. . .I guess I'll go to other planets and do the same?". Weak. Really weak.

Failing any explanation presents itself…terminal illness? And for all we know, the 20 ninja tracking the Second Hokage could have been the best Jonin their village had. Still mostly unjustified, but still.
Among those Jonin, there were Kinkaku and Ginkaku so yeah, they are strong.

French language movie ftw. More seriously, it will most likely win the best picture in foreign language + probably one other award but that's all. It's already a great achievement for a movie in a foreign language to be nominated in the best picture category.

My favorite anime of the previous year. Funny, heartwarming, inspirationnal. The pacing is really slow sometimes, but I really enjoy every minutes of this show. The characters are all really interesting, the writing is stunning. The third round of the exam was just fantastic, the way it ended was brilliant.
One question: Why the fuck do they still play MMOs?Just.Why?
So there can be others seasons.
This anime was a trainwreck for me, the concept was good, the execution was horrible. The author could have put more thought on his story and characters to make them more original and memorable. Also the pandering… The harem, the incest, the fanservice were really not neccessary.

Foreshadowing… in my Bleach?
Things I definitely get sick of seeing in mangas/anime:
Sports mangas going too far with their phrasings like "We will win even if it kills us" or "We won't let them score even if we die"… it's just a sport man, relax (Slam Dunk not included but mainly Kurokos Basket here -.- getting kinda old now)
The mystery talk... you know "HE/SHE won't like this" or "I'm sure HE/SHE will be unhappy to hear that"... and then after we find out who HE/SHE is they casually mention their names all the time -.-
Mystery sibling appearing after 100 chapters of getting to know the main character...
Character stopping 2 other characters in the middle of the fight by stopping BOTH their attacks one handed... happens too much...
Characters appearing out of nowhere even though the characters in the manga should have been able to see them coming a long time ago...
Main character being "The only one who could save us now" -.-
Dead people coming back to life...
A seemingly real life story that could actually make sense ending up having some stupid 'spirit' based move inserted, turning it unrealistic (kinda looking at Tough here, cos it was all cool with their martial arts style, but then that spirit attack thingy just went a bit too far :/)
High school mangas in general, but then that 'there's a new student coming to join us today' 'i hope she's a cute girl' blah blah blah and most the time she is and ends up sitting next to the main character...
Characters surviving explosions... they are hot dam firey KABOOM explosions but get treated like a soap bubble...
Those things are particularly annoying, and they happen all the time.

Ok, this one made me laugh.
The permadeath thing feels kinda underwhelming, all the players except the protagonist are noobs.
There is only one character that died that we should care about, and I forgot her name… She only appeared for 10 minutes or so. Anyway, this permadeath was a real letdown.
Not really. Akira Toriyama intending to end the manga at the end of the Freeza arc is a myth and there is not a shred of evidence to support it (for more information -> http://www.kanzenshuu.com/intended-end/freeza/ ).
He did however wanted to have the artificial human saga with just #19 and #20. His editor didn't agree because he felt it was just a geezer and a weird fat guy, so Toriyama introduced #18 and #17 but then the editor said that they were just kids and Toriyama introduced Cell.
What's funny is the editor was still not satisfied with Cell first and second transformation. I think Toriyama said he had other plans for Cell second transformation, I wished I knew what he intended to do, but he probably forgot about it a long time ago, lol.
IMO, first half is highly disapointing, second half is just bad.

LOL, the fanservice part had a better animation than some fights in the beginning! How many episode are left, because the story moved really slowly.
