I loved the crew versus Oars in Thriller Bark. The team up moves were so creative and fun, it really sealed my love of that arc for me.

I'm reading FoC, and so far it hasn't been too bad. Although knowing that alot of characters aren't in it, and knowing that most it takes place in places that seemingly that have too much to do with the story, going into it helped. If I didn't know what I was getting into before reading this, it may have been harder to read. Still though, the characters are so well written, that it makes even the mundane even a little exciting.

Good episode, Was Rob Lowe the voice of Captain marvel? Cause thats pretty awesome. Also Superboy should name that wold, Ghost.

I just finished book one, and loved it! Just tell me one thing, do the fantasy elements come more and more abundant as the story goes on? I'm fine with it either way, I was just wanting to know.

You know, there was a rumor a couple of years ago, that Azuma regretted allowing Azumanga Daioh into an anime, because of the massive amount of hentai that surged from it. I think he thinks that Yotsuba becoming an anime will have the same thing happen.

A couple of years ago, I guessed that there would be a split apart in the crew across the world, and they would have to reunite. I also theorized that some of the Shichibukai would be good guys, Jimbei in particular. I thought there would be an island that was Halloween themed. And last but not least I thought there would dinosaur zoans.

Interesting poll, theres a ton of females in anime that are awesome, so I understand it was probably hard to get a set list of them. Im also suprised in the lack of shonen female characters, but most of them suck anyway.

I dont if this has been mentioned yet, but I think Lucci's final move, the "Roukagan" is a form of Haki. He probably came up with it because he was so strong, and didnt know it was Haki.

Ok so how much longer do you think we have in this arc? I personally dont think we will have more than 20 more chapters. Is gon out for the count? Is it impossible to beat the king, or will we probably see him walk away a changed man? All these questions and more, to be answered.. ehh whenever.

I pretty much always liked it, The first moment thats just really capitivating and gives you the first glimpse of the tone and scope of the series is Zoro vs Mihawk though. After that we get our first really good flashbask (Sanji), first really good fight imo (Krieg vs Luffy), and then step into the epicness that is Arlong Park. But I loved Captain Kuro and still do till this day. His arc I thought dragged though. But yes, typical shonen then Zoro v Mihawk- epicness then and still.

So I want to see it but the town I live in doesnt like to play new movies, theres three movies and none of them are new. Hell I'd settle for seeing The Expendables but thats not playing either.

Yeah, I have to say people on Arlong Park have pretty good taste in manga (generally). I'd like to see this poll on a big Naruto/Bleach website, and see how it does.

Awesome how everyone hates Basil Hawkins (or at least is the least favorite supernova amonst you guys). I have to agree that X Drake is awesome just because hes a dinosaur. Overall the supernovas are okay, I like Bepo better than all of them any way.

I just got listening to it, and I got cut off right as you asked me the last question about the conventions. There is a convention in Wichita, but its really sad. I actually have to travel to Chicago (Acen) and Dallas (Akon) for conventions. I met you guy and went to your panel in Chicago this year.

It was real nice to have had been on the podcast, I'm dying to see what happened to me, because it seemed as if I got cut off in the middle of my call.

I dont know its hard to vote a guy thats had maybe 15 panels in the manga, and we know nothing about, versus a guy with a cool power, design, and besides Buggy the best facial expressions around. Morias got my vote!

Wow, thank you for saying what I've always been saying. I dont care if the story has no plot relevance, if its good, its good, and Skypiea may be the most imaginitive and thought out story of Oda's from front to back. Looking back on it, its totally One Piece in it's tone, and if it was not part of the story i'd say we'd be missing a lot.

So are the Admirals on the list anywhere? And by that I mean the people he based them off of.

i started following weekly at chapter 339, when Robin told Sanji and Chopper she was leaving the crew. I remember back then, I at one point speculated kaku would be the 8th crew member.

I liked the movie, it captured the spirit of One Piece very well, only complaint was that the fights were pretty short and kind of lame, although there were some pretty cool abilities that Shiki possessed.

I wanted to really really do this for you guys, but you had to do it while I was at work. Hopefully next time you do this (which could be soon?) I'm not going to be at work. Either way, it was a good podcast, congrats, and keep finding more and inersting way to keep the One Piece community involved.

Good chapter, but I think Franky's last line was botched a little bit.

I just don't get why his death is so vague, I mean if hes dead, then I think Oda would just show it, theres no real payoff 100 chpaters from now if its revealed that hes dead. But if hes was alive (or other circumstances) then I think leaving a vague plot thread like that was worth it. On another note this a very hot button issue, I had a 2 hour arguement with my friends a month ago over this, and it did not go well.

personally the only reason I think hes alive, is because the whole issue is being dealt ambiguosily. If he were dead, I think we would know or it would of been shown. Theres no reason to kill him off, if you write a cliffhanger like Oda did for chapter 581, or having Mihawk being be so unsure of it. I think theres a reason for this, but we probably won't know for sure for awhile. I also think theres another possibility why its such a vague issue, that the government made him into a pacfista.

You know Aizen himself isnt too bad, its just the horribly written circumstances and plot involving anything with him in it that are bad.

I saw episode 6, in January 2003, on the first day I went to my college anime club. Little did I know how much my life would change.

I just got my Strong World Robin in the mail today, and I have to say, holy crap are all the strong world figures that detailed. Its already one of my favorites. Plus I hope whats underneath her dress in that figure is canon.

To expand further upon Retsudo's thoughts, I don't know why new games have to always have a gimmick. Kind of like the later zelda series, you cant just have a ocarina of time, there has to be a boat, or a train, or turn into a wolf.

I agree with you Zac on the assessment of "Sanji's Strength" versus the okamas, it just makes Sanji look weak, and it is very inconsistent witht the rest of the series. I just dont like the fact that Sanji was totally helpless in this episode. Also the crossdressing thing is one thing, but it seemed like there were very weird sexual undertones in this episode that don't fit the motiff of One Piece at all. Sanji's storyline coupled with Chopper's go nowhere boring half of an episode, made this probably the worst episode of this Ive seen in a while. Hmm Zach, I wonder if this topic will pop up in the next podcast?

wow, this has to be the most suprising round in the tournament yet.

Personally I think One Piece is not going to end with Luffy being the pirare king. I think after Luffy beats Blackbeard, and becomes the pirate king, his site will go toward taking down the corruptiveness of the world government. Maybe he will team up with pirates everywhere, including Blackbeard even? This will ties some loose ends up, like Mihawk vs Zoro, Luffy getting revenge on Akainu, The story of the world government and how it came to be, Doflamingo, teaming up with Dragon, tons of stuff. What are youre thoughts? P.S. I think the last page of One Piece will be Usopp 50 years in the future telling the tale of his crew to a bunch of kids, and we find out Usopp was the narrator of One Piece this whole time.

I don't know if this is important or not, but I have a theory that Franky and Doflamingo are long lost brothers.

How does everyone really feel about Moria. I mean I know hes possibly the weakest shichibukai, but that doesn't mean he isn't an awesome character. I feel like if you are weak, then apforums starts hating on somebody a little too much, its a shame because he has to have as much personality as anybody else in this series. Or is the reason that not as many people like him, because of a certain troll on this website?

So this is the third podcast I've listened to since I got back from Acen. I gotta say, you guys are pretty good, I wish I would've listened to you're guys chapter analysis as it was coming out during Marineford, and Impel Down. I thought I could talk about One Piece alot, but filling up two episodes a week takes some kind of talent, don't ask me what type of talent that would be.

I think that certain classes in the this series know what devil fruits they're getting before eating them. What I mean is what if the marines had a consisitent and reiable way of getting the same devil fruits throughout the years. Like the positions of Ao Kiji, Aka Inu, and Kizaru are the same through the ages, with diffferent people occupying the positions. But the marines always give the admiral position the same 3 devil fruits, to fit the bill. I think this may be the same with Pell and Chaka.

Damn this podcast is long. But it was good, it was my first time listening to any of you're podcast. Pretty funny stuff, I hope to see footage of the panel at Acen some day.

anyone think Zoro, would of had a better percantage, if he was in the later rounds, it seemed like he a low percantage for how popular he should be. I think alot of people in the first two rounds, didn't think you could cast votes for multiple people, and Zoro ended up being the seventh most popular strawhat. Still suprised about Nico Robin getting th highest percantage among the strawhats.
