My guess is that, among known characters, Kurozumi Higurashi, Kurozumi Semimaru, Shaki, Streusen and Ms. Bakkin were all part of Rocks. Maybe some of them could even be "Silver Axe" and "Ochoku".

Explain what you mean by saying Oda presents it as 1v1. Luffy is the last of 10+ opponents standing. Yes now it's down to 1vs1, but that doesn't erase the whole battle that happened before it came down to this. This is an ongoing battle. It's not suddenly a new fight now that it's down to 2. Otherwise, we're just arguing semantics and wasting our time.

I've tried a handful of things over the years, but nothing I cared to remember. Nothing has worked long term for me. Not drugs, not therapy, not meditation, not self-improvement. I always end up in the same place. Like climbing up the walls of a pit, only to inevitably slide back down. I keep hoping one day I'll find something else to live for. There's always hope. Always. Hasn't the strawhat crew taught us that much? I've also been on too many anti depressants/ anxiety meds for a decade plus. Have you tried Lyrica? I've been on it for a few months and its the first drug thats really wow'd me. I basically have up on medication before it,. I would literally do commercials for it and its benefits w anxiety. I believe it slows down how your nerves work.

Theres always more out there. Just gotta find the right cocktail of medications. Just my 2cents. Amd remember especially these days w covid/politics, mental illnesses are running on overdrive. Everything's temporary D. The good and the bad.

There is really too many specifics here to get into the tax law and so many things corporations and such can either 'legally' or illegally do and get away with. Like how Trump is carrying millions of millions of losses over each year to wipe out tax.

The IRS is hilariously underfunded and has been for decades. Unless you're lower to middle income, it's unlikely to get audited. Its easier and cheaper to go after the poor than to spend time and money auditing the rich.

It's been too long, but I think when Gandalf resurrected(reincarnated) into Gandalf the White and met the first of the fellowship, they were initially scared of him. And and and it touched multiple times on Gandalf being tempted by the ring or joining up w Suaromon. So it wouldn't have been total totaly left field. It might be harder to see now that the story is so old and hindsight is 20/20, but if LOTR ran weekly like OP, there would be discussions to be had at certain points I believe. Interesting thought!

I kind of wish items could be replaced with low grade spells (most/all builds capable of using them) that you could choose to allocate in some amount of cantrip slots. That way, you would have a naturally limited amount of uses that could never be fully expended and would be replenished for each new encounter. Then the game could be balanced better around it, too, instead of never being sure whether you had access to those things or not.

The effects can be interesting and bring out more aspects of the game, like engaging with elemental weakness or enemy ai, but I've always felt that the way From games punishes you so harshly discouraged me from experimenting with anything I could really exhaust. If an enemy can suddenly kill you in one shot while you're in a position that doesn't let you avoid them, then anything you've consumed to get to that point is suddenly and unpredictably wasted. As a result, I truly never used anything. No papers/resins, status heals (minus a few poison heals and one of those curse heals in DS1), allures, marker stones or anything (except I guess the ones you consume for souls, which almost don't count since they're just another form of a different resource). I don't dislike the experience that I had, but there were definitely moments where people told me I should be using one of those things to get past a tough boss, and I was just not confident that I wouldn't waste it.

I wouldn't want to completely get rid of consumables though. Having to plan and grind for an item to increase chances or just being SOL and not have anything besides flasks add an aspect of unpredictability that I love to hate.

Sekiro: I never felt stupidly powerful even endgame which was a contrast from Dark Souls. No shame in spamming block until you get the timing down better. It was definitely a game I progressed through inch by inch. It helps to look up "how to cheese" videos for any section/boss of the game. No shame!

I have yet to beat the ending with that 4 staged boss. My 2 playthroughs I'm just too burnt out to die a hundred times on him until I somehow beat him. 2nd playthrough I did cruise through pretty easily, so maybe ill beat him next time.

You should buy a $30 controller that basically turns ur phone into a switch. I just got one and it's been great playing through metroid prime again. I'm assuming you're using dolphin for the emulator without clicking on your link.

Are they paying things like Property tax, or their local State and Fed taxes? Most likely not. However they're paying into local sales tax on their regular every day purchases, much more of their income goes to landlords and employers who DO pay State and Fed taxes.

But in terms of straight up "crossed the border, have been living in the US for 10 years" most of the taxes they've paid have likely been sales taxes funding the local economy, and the legal parties benefiting from them being here.

I can't speak though to the taxes of the VERY large amount of "illegal" immigrants in the US who came here on a legal Visa, and simply overstayed their legal welcome from the varying policies that gave them legal entry to the country.

Majority do actually pay state/federal income taxes, social security and medicare taxes. Unfortunately when they do pay income tax, they usually don't file to get it back.
