Is this an actual manga chapter that exists? If so, how/where does one find it?

@Razh said in Chapter 1061: Future Island Egghead:
@Bugs how do you know her boob isn't marked with Punk 02 as well, but Egghead isn't a summer island.
Yes. You can't see under her jacket, but the other one is marked Punk 01. Just labeling the girl's girls.
The last outright corrupt evil marine that was terrorizing innocent people purely for the sake of it we had was… Axe hand Morgan?
Nezumi? But still a while ago
AEW beat them in one age demographic. Overall they did not.
Why does Kaido care about what the DF is, let alone go out of his way to get the fruit? His plan is to enslave the whole country, so why does it matter whether the shogun has a symbolic DF?
Maybe it was more about keeping the fruit so nobody else could use it? If the user inspires hope for the people as a guardian deity, crush their hope with no guardian and keep them subservient.
@Zik:
BB attacking WCI would be a good reason for Big Mom to.immediately leave.
And/or an unexpected face turn for the Big One
Wondering if Lodestar is the location of one of the Road Poneglyphs, hence what tipped Roger off and why the Straw Hats need to go there if they hope to reach Laugh Tale?
Guess all that hoopla over Yamabro was sort of pointless
Guess everybody moved on to trashing the next chapter :ninja:
People complaining about people complaining about people complaining can be annoying too.
Calling something fairly obvious to deduce: the story ends with a huge party at the end of everything where everyone can take part of it; that's what every arc has been like, after all.
Sort of wonder if Luffy's "secret dream" that comes after being the Pirate King is to throw a party for the entire world, or the world's biggest party or something like that. Or maybe something like he wants everyone in the world to be free.
Jesus, this is seriously like Middle-school kids trying to gang up on someone for not repeating whatever they want them to repeat.
Pick ANY topic. Sadly this is how the world operates now. Ok to have an opinion… as long as the opinion is the same as whoever you are talking to.
Maybe the gears will turn out to be his version of DF Awakening… which has been stated as a thing, so not just an asspull (such a vulgar term)
I have tried to find Oda's Wanted! in print format to purchase, but can only find every other language other than English. Does anyone know if this exists in a translated format on the internets somewhere? Have been unsuccessful in web searches as well. PM?
Did they ever answer Luffy's question on if mermaids poop?
Team no one else is still taking on new applicants.
I am honestly preferring this route. Feels like the current crew size is plenty.
The one thing throwing it all off is the whole "get a crew of 10" thing. If we really need Luffy + 10, I feel like it should be Vivi. Maybe something bad happened at the Levely to her dad/country and she turns to her old friends to help, setting up another reasons to battle the WG in the endgame.
Re: Spoilers
I think the issue is when people begin speaking about and referring to the spoilers outside of the designated spoiler area. Like this thread should not begin to have people saying things like "Unfortunately the spoilers…" or "I was thinking this until I read the spoilers", etc., etc.
Random question. Probably not the right place for this, but couldn't figure out where else to post.
Where would one order individual issues of SJ from? I was thinking of buying the issues that contained chapters 999 and 1000, but not sure where to start on that quest.
Thanks in advance for any insights.
At the end of Wano, Carrot is going to pull a Johnny/Yosaku and say "Ight Imma Head Out"
I'm honestly starting to wonder what you expected to happen to Kaido in this arc? Because it's been pretty clear for a while that he will be defeated by the end of it, yet according to you, none of the characters, including Luffy, Zoro or Law, would even be able to leave a scratch on him, let alone actually put up a fight against him.
I envision the following…
Real series ending:
Joy Boy is waiting in Laugh Tale.
Luffy arrives.
Joy Boy: "Who the hell are you?!? I was expecting Kaido! I mean... he is the WSC after all!!!"
Ideal series ending:
Joy Boy is waiting in Laugh Tale standing on a mat that says "One Piece" on it.
Kaido arrvies.
Joy Boy: "Kaido... you are the first Yonko to arrive. You have won the One Piece!"
Big Mom arrives a few minutes later, out of breath.
Joy Boy: "Big Mom... you are the second Yonko to arrive. I'm sorry, you did not win the One Piece."
Like what? A few examples would be nice.
BTW, would be nice to get an answer this time, not like last time when you didn't reply any more.
I think Joy Boy actually made two appearances in this issue… at the bottom of pages 9 and 13 :getlost:
@Vongola_Boss_XI:
Thanks! Exactly what I was looking for
Glad that helped!
The infographic came from this page, and it looks like they have several others on the topic as well:
@Vongola_Boss_XI:
Maybe off topic, but I remember seeing on this forum a long time ago an image or images showing progression of the lunar cycle showing how much time has passed in One Piece. I can't seem to find that now. Does anyone remember / have a link to that post?
The wiki has a section mentioning the moon phase by chapter number. At least a start?

This is phenomenal! Love the design of the handbook. Very well done!
It is a shame you did not continue this because it has a ton of potential to grow and evolve. Thanks for all the hard work!
What if Im is actually a female. What if that female is… Luffy's mom!
She and Dragon obviously did not see eye to eye and had a difference of opinion (as most married couples usually do) and Garp hid Luffy to save him from the WG, the revolutionaries, or both.
@O:
do we know how serious it is ?
Dude! I seriously thought there was gnat on my screen and tried to wipe it off before realizing it was your avatar. Well played
Hello everybody,
I'm a big One Piece fan who reads to you from Barcelona - Spain. I follow this forum both to keep up to date with One Piece and to practice my English. I greet you all. See you in the forum, nakamas.
Hola!
Welcome aboard! I started reading One Piece during the pandemic lockdown and plowed through to the current issues. By far the best story I have read in a comic/manga. Hope you enjoy the voyage too.
My son is the biggest Barcelona and Messi fan you'll find. Glad to see he is (begrudgingly) sticking around this year.
I have always hated fandoms use of head cannon as an insult.
It's supposed to be a fun term ya'll.
Actually sounds like one of Baby 5's attacks
I don't see this at all. Ace's character only works as Roger's son and Luffy is the spitting image of Garp.
What if Dragon and Roger were actually brothers? Not sure if they ever stated Roger's age relative to what Garp's is?
Plot twist!
Ace is really Dragon's son and Luffy is really Roger's son. Garp swapped their backstories to help protect Roger's son's identity (and/or to protect Dragon's son's identity).
This is why everyone is reminded of Roger when they meet Luffy. This is why Shanks has been mentoring him. This is why he has Roger's straw hat. This is why he will be the next Pirate King… the heir to his father's throne.
Gol D. Luffy
But the one thing that is 100% is that Roger did not have the Rubber fruit.
If he did, we wouldn't have had Ace in the story
It feel like there are really only two fates that could befall Shanks when this is all said and done…
In either case, I do not think he is completely, overtly evil… nor does he just survive and come along for the ride/stand aside while Luffy gets all the glory.
When thinking about the current crew, and how they all got there…
Some were literally called out in the story as a need before they joined:
Others were not called out in this way, but may make sense in a traditional crew and parallel other crews, specifically the Red Haired Pirates:
The others remaining seem to fulfill other, unique purposes:
The "final" member feels like they would have to fit in to the "unique purposes" bucket as nothing has been explicitly called out from a "needed position" standpoint in quite some time. I guess more muscle for the sake of more muscle could work too, but feels like there will something more to it.
Every day at work, I see a big box that says SNACKS on it. I always think about taking a marker and making it say SHANKS instead.
Theory: I have a problem.
Rematch
Kaido raises his club above his head and swings down forcefully, attempting to one-shot Luffy, like he did last time. This time, Luffy raises his arm and catches the club in his Haki-infused hand.
Luffy: Seastone? So that is how you beat me last time? Well, I'M STRONGER NOW!
Luffy uses his Ryuo to explode the club, possibly taking the Yonko's hand or part of his arm with it.
Kaido: YARRRGGGHHH! It can't be!
Luffy: I'm going whoop you! Then I'm going to become the Pirate King!
I would not be against this. He's been with us the whole time after all. Even had his own sub adventure on the covers!
And his dream? To finally be noticed!
Swerve! The final crewmember is Panda Man!
@Vongola_Boss_XI:
Okay so I've been thinking a lot about Shanks….
Very good read! I love this theory, and think a lot of it could be true. Feels like it would take 400+ chapters fro Oda to relay all of this though sadly.
Just my thoughts on the connections between Kaido, Big Mom, Punk Hazard and the Numbers.
Really like this theory! Would certainly tie together some more arcs/characters, and actually give a bit of a sympathetic background to Kaido and explain his desire to topple the WG. Keeps the longstanding "there is no black and white, just shades of gray" thought in the OP world. Well done!
I think you mean Usopp
Ah! Ok, I see that now! Thanks!
Soooo… far left people are Franky and Robin? Lol
No, but there were signs that something in that spot was erased back in Secret Pieces, as one could see faint marks of a drawing there.
Look between Luffy and Zoro. You can also make something between Luffy's legs as well.
Who are the rest of those people? Looks like Brook and Blackbeard (?!)
People disliked the seinfeld ending? Huh
Lol. I actually didn't mind it, but guess I shouldn't say that too loud.
Add Sopranos to the 'disappointment' list as well.
I am watching/reading One Piece close to 18+ years so I doubt I and many others will stop reading it :p. I do hope the ending will be great. Too many great stories had lackluster endings.
Honestly worried about this. Think of all the recent bomb endings in pop culture… Seinfeld, Lost, Game of Thrones, Star Wars, etc. At the end of the day, an ending is always going to hurt because it is the end. And it is hard to make EVERYONE happy with how that closure goes down.
The other thing I think we see from Luffy is his ability to endure and find another gear (pun not intended… or maybe) whenever he is facing a villain who hurts others, especially those close to him. Essentially the defender or champion of the downtrodden and oppressed. The two Yonko have certainly hurt many, including those close to Luffy, and will probably continue to do so in the remainder of this arc. Those thoughts and visuals might be the spark he needs to awaken his DF, perfect his Haki/Ryuo and/or find yet another gear (maybe literally) to topple them... which is after all one of his stated goals on his journey to becoming the Pirate King.
Feels like a lot of whining and crying over something that hasn't even played out yet. I guess the advantage of reading an entire arc at a time instead of waiting weeks between chapters.
Also, Luffy is now the 5th Yonko
Congrats guys! Your hard work is greatly appreciated and the final product is amazing!
