I feel that since they had to sub-license from Funimation for North America and Latin America has a 24 hour delay that it will be the Funimation stream :-( I like the new OP as well.

It seamed really short, like there wasn't enough going on. Also, Luffy looked like he had really long arms after he avoided the explosion & was standing up.

Here is an article that might interest you:
http://geekout.blogs.cnn.com/2012/01/26/manga-in-the-heart-of-europe/
Here is the important part from the President of VIZ Europe:
Annual manga sales in Japan are about $5 billion, he said, whereas American manga sales are $120 million and Europe and the Middle East combined make $250 million. The popularity does vary by country, but France is by far the leader in European otaku interest, as it brings in 50% of European manga sales. So yes France is quite big but the USA seems to be nearly as big, at least with the Manga sales.
You can't really compare the US with France, cause France is a tiny country compared to it. The per capita for France is much higher than for the US which is why Toei is focusing on France since they can make more bang for their buck there than in the US. I'm not actually that surprised that the Manga/Anime market is growing in France as when I was there studying there weren't a lot of good children's books or new comics/graphic novels (the classics are great though). The void that Anime/Manga fill is much more apparent there than in the US where there are tons of things competing for attention in that space.
While we're on the subject… can any French speaker point me in the direction of a good Japanese Language book (in French)? I took a Japanese trial class in French and it was sooo much easier for me to understand in French than in my native tongue (English). It seems as though anything that is not English is automatically French in my brain.

RE: 578: ''Z's Ambition Chapter - Luffy vs. Shuzo!''
It should have ended after Fish Man Island as I always thought the "We Go" referred to the New World & now they are there. I liked this Filler but I am curious as to what's going to happen in 26 episodes since it can be assumed that this season is already complete. I don't know what the lead time is for each season but since Punk Hazard is still on going and will be at least 39 episodes it will most likely be slowed down followed by another filler arc as I don't see them adding a filler arc in the middle of the arc (like Bleach).

RE: One Piece Special - Episode of Luffy: Adventure on Hand Island
I liked the special since it wasn't a complete rehash link the Nami one was. I watched that one in Japanese and didn't need subtitles since I already knew what was going on and could figure out the rest. This story was "new" with a couple of flash backs for Luffy & Coby & I have no idea why it's considered a tie in for Z since I didn't see any references to it unless I missed something. It's the first special to take place in the New World and I loved seeing Coby's new strength. I think there will be an Episode of Zoro after the Punk Hazard arc if they go to the Wano Country.
They made some creative changes like they did with Episode of Nami to speed the flashbacks along but the general gist was there. The old clips from previous episodes, I didn't like since I'm not a fan of the early animation & I thought they could have done new ones but that I guess would have been too much extra work.
