I'm so glad Gintama is back. Watching that first episode of the new season, I never realized how much I'd missed it.

So psyched for Gintama. It's the only anime I watch anymore.

About DOOM, I'm not exactly sure how you're supposed to pronounce it. The katakana is ドーン so I'm thinking that Viz's effect isn't supposed to be pronounced like it has a u in it but rather with a long o sound which would fit perfectly with the original.

I hope they don't go and use "With a DOOM!" but the sound effect works still. "With a BOOM!" doesn't really sound right. They shouldn't try a direct translation for that I think.

How bout…. "Do it with a bang"? At least I've seen that used in everyday speech, like "Go out with a bang." Sounds more natural than "with a boom" or "doom" anyway.

After hearing the refrain in the trailer, I didn't think I'd like it too much, but I actually like the rest of the song. The whole time I was listening for the familiar part, thinking, 'Am I listening to the right song?' It's a pretty okay song. It's better than some of the other movie themes.

My first impression was that the shirt looked very fruity. If anything, it's the opposite of fan service, but I like the bandana so it's all cool.

I've lost count of how many times I've rewatched the Jaya arc in one sitting. :wub:
