Soda and fruit juice are best left to small portions. If you're really craving soda, drink half fruit juice, half carbonated water. It's fizzy, sweet, and will satisfy your sweet tooth in a way that High Fructose Corn Syrup never could. Unprocessed fruit sugars are able to be processed by the body properly, so they take the urge off your sugar cravings. For me, at least.

Generally, I always urge people to avoid HFCS. It's processed and awful.

YOu're losing weight because you're calorically and nutritionally starving yourself. 4 apples a day and a big breakfast? So you have at least 40g sugar, and from breakfast probably some fats, cholesterol, sodium, and maybe a little bit of protein thrown in. Your body is not being sustained. For ANY body type that is not a healthy way to eat. Especially since you implied that the only reason you're even eating those apples is to keep your stomach from digesting itself. You're not a lion on the Savannah. You're made to eat regular meals, and by not you're likely fucking up your metabolism down the road.

And we really don't have time to jog, but we walk everywhere. usually at least 5 mi a day. So don't be so hasty to call people lazy. Makes you look pretentious.

Also, apple juice is the sugariest fruit juice you can get. That is a terrible reccomendation for someone who is trying to lose weight.

As some one who is a one piece fan and blind in one eye, I can't get behind a one piece movie that I wouldn't be able to fully enjoy as intended.

Besides, 3D is a shitty gimmick anyway

Well, one thing to keep in mind is that even if you lose weight, you can still look flabby if you have no muscle tone. And I'm not trying to sound fat phobic at all here, because I'm the exact opposite. But, if you want to lose weight to look good, you will have to tone as well.

One of the best ways to tone is to do repetitive exercise with small amounts of weight. This can be done quite easily at home. You'd never expect it, but a soup can is a great workout tool. It fits in your hand, and has good weight for its size. Sitting and doing some bicep curls and triceps extensions with a can of soup isn't particularly taxing, but if you do 20 to 50 reps three or four separate sessions a day, you'll start seeing toning and firming of the arms.

A good way to build mass is with things as simple as push ups and pull ups, lunges and squats, crunches and sit ups. These exercises are for building mass, though. They're not going to make you look smaller. So, if looking smaller is your goal, don't do these exercises. They start out difficult, so only do as much as you can do in one session. Even if it's only one, that's fine! Do multiple sessions through the day. If you keep up on it, you'll notice yourself improving rapidly.

Keep in mind, too, that muscle growth does have to do with your hormones. It's the reason that males naturally have greater muscle mass than females. Don't take hormones or steroids just because you want bigger muscles. That's stupid, and you could fuck your body up.

Your thighs touching can have less to do with fat and more to do with how wide your hips are and where your bones are set. Toning and shaping up will help for sure, but don't have "thighs not touching" be your only motivator.

There are good exercises for asthmatics. Biking, jogging, walking, swimming. Don't sprint. That will just make your asthma flare up. Work your way up to running. Start with a walk. Then fast walk, an easy jog, then some light running. Your lungs will become stronger.

I'd like to cosplay a girl next year if possible, but I just can't do that with the current shape I'm in. ^^;

It's frustrating because I'm physically fit but still packing the pounds. I'm a Cross Country runner, I can jog three or four miles without a problem. But I've still got a good fifteen or twenty in fat that my body just doesn't seem to want to get rid of.

Some people do tend to hold more fat than others. You sound like you have great muscle stamina and endurance, but do you have burst power? Try doing some intensity training. You can get a greater exercise in the 3 miles you would normally jog if you walk, run as fast as you can for 30 seconds, walk for a minute, lather, rinse, repeat. This could help.

Oh. And if anyone wants tips for muscle growth vs. strength training vs. muscle toning, I can help with that, too.

Exercise. Eat right. Learn the difference between FAT WEIGHT and MUSCLE WEIGHT. Pro tip: Muscle weighs more. Do cardio to burn fat. Get off your fucking ass and WALK or something. Ride a fucking bike for fuck's sake.

Metabolism and stress are a bitch. Being thin does not equal being healthy. Can you run a mile or two? If you can, you're just fine the way you are.

Chimin' in here to say that 90% of cosplays are going to be better with a wig. But if the character's hair is really really REALLY short, you're better off manning up and cutting your hair.

If I can get time off, I'll go.

Depending on the kind of wound I'm making, it can take anywhere from 10 minutes to a few hours. The blood I use is usually Ben Nye stage blood, but I'll use cheaper stuff if it's all that I have on me at the time.

We have done one other skit, way back in 2005, and we'd like to do a revision of it someday. However, being in the Cosplay competition cuts out a lot of time from the Con day, and usually the guests I want to see are scheduled during that time. There are a few ideas we've had for skits that we've never really followed through with as well. I'm really glad that you liked this one so much, though!

Pink zentai suit. You can get them on ebay for relatively cheap, and they're usually custom made to order. As for makeup, I agree with JM. Get some good paint. Ben nye works well, and a small pot (about $3.50 last time I bought one) will be more than enough to cover your face.

Stay away from NEON ORANGE.
Nami's hair is not a Bob-style cut.
Buy longer than you need so you can cut and style it.
