I'm still baffled the op funi edited toonami dub didn't keep the static blood in while Naruto and DBZ airings did

Currently Funimation still edits dragon ball for international countries even though it airs uncut in the US.

Everyone here agrees the edited dub originally got cancelled because of the CN regime change and the push to have no anime on the network… Is that correct?

Now that I. Studio returning has resumed, maybe they will continue releasing the dub faster?

Hopefully they will catch up and simuldubs the series, esp with the help of remote recording, and go back and dub the older movies.

Lots of people are going to legit binge watch all these episodes! I'm happy the series is getting noticed here more.

I guess we should still be happy that ZOLO version of the dub had a mercy ending and now we have the uncut dub airing on Toonami.

I'm a bit confused. Have all the episodes with edited/censored footage been 100 percent recovered. I know after Robins Skypia fight, the episodes became uncut.

People are always going to bother the actors with these remarks though. I say he has a tarnished image now.

I wonder if the narrator records that for every episode, or if they just replay the same recording over and over, but he gets paid each time it plays....

this reminds me of the redubs if saint Seiya and sailor moon just reusing records for attacks and speeches.

I thought that voice actor, Casey Mongillo, was a shoe in for Yamato.

I don't think I've heard David Moo give off a decent performance in a dub. His Xellos from Slayers Next which some people sight as good is even iffy to me.

Hopefully we will get a simuldub. Shaman King 2021 is literally being dubbed at that pace and even the new Jojo part 6 star ocean is going to get that treaent.

I am dumbfounded that they didn't dub the chopper movie after all these years.

I still say we should push TOEI to release the older movies at a steady pace too. Look at TMS paying to release the backlog of older Detective Conan movies for English dubs for example.

I can't believe mha would be more popular then op in the states. Op aired dubbed on kids tv for a decent amount of time.

Do you all expect them to make announcements of episode batch chunks being dubbed or do you all think they will just keep spitting out dub release consistently from now on with no breaks since Toei is apparently funding the dub.

I hope the dub can reach a point where it's only a year or half a year behind the original.

This episode title screen remarks reminds me in why certain 4kids dubs had title card screens while others didn't.

The job of the actors is too voice act. They work on multiple projects. I don't blame them if they don't remember many facts of the series.
