Anybody know the name and/or where I could the find the piece playing in Episode 484 at 11:46
Anybody know the track that plays during Episode 499 at 16:14?
Can't wait to start buying the collections! :D
Nevermind, it is Volume 23
Still, why would they bother to post on their Facebook to read a series they're cancelling anyway?
@VIZ:
Wanna read a real screwy manga? Try this! http://bit.ly/kb19KT
Ok, seriously, could somebody explain to me what's going on here:
http://shonenjump.viz.com/content/manga-spotlight-gt22
I thought Viz listed Volume 21 as the "Final Volume" ?
Great news btw! 3
Nice double entandre
I'm guessing that wasn't on purpose :D
Looking for track that's playing at 4:40, Episode 495
I just show people the first 4 episodes. The end of Episode 4 seems to have a way of making people really wanting to watch the arc that it begins. Interesting.
Yeah, I'm one of those people (who doesn't like Peeta). Well really, its not that I don't like him, I just don't have any interest in him overall. Though I'm very interested in where his general relationship with Katniss will go. :)
My friend tells me that the tracker jackers come back later in the series, so I'm excited about that too.
Anbody here read this series? I'm halfway through the first book, and I absolutley love it.
These collections are just the thing I needed (haven't been able to buy all the season sets, plus I need to replace S2V2 any way, one of the discs are busted).
@Zach:
The pace of these volumes are getting ridiculous.
Good or bad kind of ridiculous?
Wasn't sure where to post this, so please forgive me
But anybody going to Anime STL tommorow?
I wouldn't say it's terrible, but I myself lost intrest in the series after Volume 3
Could anyone tell me what track is playing in Episode 487 at around 16:49?
Found this on Youtube a few minutes ago, other than it going a bit too fast, it's a pretty decent pilot at least :ninja:

I was looking at the sketches from Volume 61 when I realized that there were no sketches for Brook. Why do you think this is?
What's the name of the track that plays in Episode 479 at 19:20?
Also the track that plays in Episode 480 when Sengoku transforms
Still haven't found it :(
I think it has no really name but there is the title "Luffy vs. Lucci (Gomu Gomu Jet Gatling) OST".
It's from Movie 8 ("Ore wa Omae o Koete Iku!!!")
@Ao:
define 'viz-isms'?
Any translation issues would definately count
Though I wanna know if the art is still intact and not suffering from any weird censoring mostly
While on the subject, can anyone tell me if Viz's release of Slam Dunk comes with it's own little (for lack of a better term) "Viz-isms"?
I'm always up for new titles myself. It's actually kind of exciting :)
EDIT: Just read ARMORS, I really liked it. Especially since I know somewhat of the Sengoku era.
I can't wait for this to start running in Jump
Did I hear a mention of Davy Back Fight in the international releases? :ninja:
@Vongola_Boss_XI:
Slam Dunk isn't coming out slowly. I haven't been buying the volumes (I have a few early ones), but it's coming out every other month. That's the fastest Viz releases series. Only series that came out faster than that was Rurouni Kenshin. They also did YGO! monthly for one year. Naruto and OP are the only series that got major speed ups. Only other series I could see a speed up as remotely possible with is Bleach…but I don't know if Bleach is holding it's popularity even in the US. It'd be kind of dumb to do a speed up now anyway when the series is loosing so much steam even in Japan.
My mistake, and yeah, I doubt Bleach will get a speed up. Then again, I said the same thing about One Piece. And only minutes later, King Calamari has to come and nuke me completely with posting Viz's announcement.
Anyway, does Slam Dunk come with own little weird moments of censorship, dialouge changes, or translation issues (otherwise Viz-ism's as some people like to call them)?
I know this might be off-topic, but I thought I'd ask here cause it's the Viz thread
How is Viz's release of Slam Dunk? Aside from the fact that they're only halfway done with releasing the series when there's no need to release it so slowly.
I get coupons and stuff, so my volumes are always $7-8.
I know lots of people bash coupons, but they can really help.
This is true
With my coupons, I save at least $4-5 bucks :ninja:
What's the name of the track that plays in Episode 479 at 19:20?
Also the track that plays in Episode 480 when Sengoku transforms
How many dubbed Studio Ghibli films still have their original score?
I thought it'd be a valid question seeing as how Disney's release of Castle in the Sky didn't have the same score as the original Japanese release
What's the name of the track that plays in Episode 479 at 19:20?
EDIT: Now I'd also like to know the name of the track that plays in Episode 580 when Sengoku transforms
This chapter was cool, funny and educational actually (made me wanna go read up on everything that was refferenced) :blink:
Tokyopop would do a decent enough job explaining the very Japanese humor
I've heard the story that Bobobo's author actually asked Viz to start where they did because he didn't think the earlier material was very good, or something to that effect.
Hmm, learn something new everyday
Viz should really start up line where they can sell and feature the more "violent" titles out there
I always thought it was because of the content of said chapters (Ex: Bobobo arriving on the cross in the first chapter)
Though I haven't read all of early Bobobo, so I'm not sure what "questionable" content Viz would have bunched up boxers over
Could someone maybe give a link to the Amazon listing for the first tankobon?
I can't find it ):
While we're on the subject, I really hope Shinsetsu gets scanlated (or liscensed by Viz)
Well, not everyone's mind is in the gutter :ninja:
Anyone know the name of the piece that plays in episode 474 (at 21:20)?
I'm probably the only one on the forum who found the ending quite inspiring actually
Chapter 13 ready for reading
Anybody else find the admin's comment on SWOT amussing at all?
Reading this makes me all the more sadder knowing this is just a one-shot
I would seriously love to see this serialized (probably more so than the recently rumored "new Dragon Ball manga")
I'm having a hard time figuring it out :getlost:
I'm stuck with a multimedia project from my Media class at my high school in which everybody picks a certain classic tv show and do research for presentation.
I picked "Leave it to Beaver" because (1. No one else in my class wanted to do anything from the '50s and (2. My teacher said it would be easy to find social commentary on said show. The problem being, I have not watched enough of this show to know exactly what episodes it would be the easiest to find said commentary.
So it would be very helpful if the kind people of the forums could point me to what episodes I could not just find online, but also which episodes in which it would be the easiest to find examples of social commentary.
If there are any good episodes coming on TV Land at some point this weekend, those are fine too as long as I can find some footage online to use in my presentation
