      Why is this eclipsing the discussion while people ignore the part of my post where I complained about how Donald Trump is literally letting people starve to death?

      @S.C.:

      His big mistake was wanting the oil from Kuwait. Because then we would have to buy it from him and that was a no-go.

      Yes, but that was not the whole story. He was asked to pay for the Iran war. He thought he was doing it on their behalf and he thought of them as allies. He then invaded Kuweit for the money and and we know what happened next. The first Iraq war was on him, he fucked up his country and his own people. The second one though, Iraqi people never did anything to the West, never (9/11 terrorists are Saudi). Yet they got punished for that. Now, you can think that the US made a mistake in geography when they invaded Iraq, huuuum, but that doesn't explain this:

      And the Brits confirming it, weapons of mass destruction hahahahah, one of the biggest lies in history. By the way isn't this called propaganda?

      @Lord:

      idk Saddam was always a warmonger i don't think he will pass an opportunity to dominate the region

      Again, from where do you get this? Saddam was not a warmonger, he was an asshole pawn against Iran. He was given the weapons as always from the west, paid by the Arabian monarchies. He was the ally of the west and their champion , fuck, he was even put in power by them. But things changed when he ended up the Iran war. One thing for you to always remember: Arab states, nations, countries do not manufacture weapons for wars, if they have them, it means somebody has been providing them. And that somebody are always the same. Russia or Nato. This is also true for wahabi mercenaries, otherwise called terrorists. If you get your info only here, you most probably think they are doing it for democracy. The politicians who are unable to provide some decent health care to their own, who are separating children and their parents since 2014, and yet you still think they have some love or consideration for people on the other side of the planet? As Nilitch has been saying, media bias in the US for wars is surreal. Look for instance at this: French weapons in the hands of mercenaries. If not given directly to them in Syria, they may have been traveling from Mali to Syria through Libya. Wow… or here. Yet, you still think that things and events are unrelated.

      Well he seemed to be agreeing with your comment that "Everything that's been happening since 2003 is the direct consequence of this war." so i assumed that was what he meant.
      –- Update From New Post Merge ---
      yeah, but no one is saying that though.

      It's not a "civil war" when: US, Turkey, Russia, Iran, Liban, Israel, Saudi Arabia, France, UK and mercenaries form Tunisia, Algeria and many others are involved. At least, in my humble knowledge, that's not a civil war. I am not saying ISIS started the civil war in Syria. I just said ISIS was created in Iraq with Iraqi people and after that went to Syria and changed the name to include the whole region. So yes, Iraq war started the destabilization of the region.

      The Iraq war was mostly ideological there was no benefit for the US only losses.

      Are you serious? If you mean benefit for the whole population of the US, of course there's none. But the chaos is the benefit to all US allies there and the chaos keeps their enemies busy. I am not even talking about the military industry, the oil companies. The chaos in that region keeps Iran, Russia and Hezbollah busy, while giving the Kurds, Israel and Turkey (US allies) the possibility to do their shit. And giving Saudi Arabia the religious (sunni-shia conflict) war they want. Chaos is one of the benefits. The same goes for Libya, chaos is the benefit as well as the change in who now controls the oil which shifted from Italy to France/UK.

      –- Update From New Post Merge ---

      @Nilitch:

      I never said that any politician was a saint, nor that they cared about anyone. Sarkozy's intentions in Libya were always unclear

      My comment was not meant to you. It's funny how the Lybian destruction is treated differently from Europe (especially in France) and in the US. They really still think they did it for "democracy", while in France, one of the main actors, it is really clear that Sarkozy did it for obscure reasons and that the intervention is a complete error. At least, Sarkozy is being investigated for his ties with the Gaddafi family and money, yet here they only know about the blood bath that was going to happen to poor Lybian civilians and they were saved by saint US/UK/French politicians like Sarkozy. Really funny…

      @Nilitch:

      Everything that's been happening since 2003 is the direct consequence of this war.

      There are some people who really think that what happened in Iraq has nothing to do with Syria. Likewise, what happened to Libya has nothing to do with what happened later in all sahel region and still happening to this day. The rat's name is "Baghdadi" for fuck sake. It means somebody from Algiers, May be?
      No matter how you try to teach them, their hatred to Russia will always blind their sight. For instance: everybody agrees to this and this, still no relation between Iraq war and Syria? And it's funny how you people think that your politicians love us civilians when they barely show love for their own people. Democracy was never their aim. In the case of Libya, it's just a game of power, that has seen Italy loose his turf for others and also sanction Gaddafi for trying to kill the Franc-CFA, that's why Sarkozy killed him. And in Syria, you are forgetting a lot of actors involved: Saudi Arabia the ideology and money backer, Turkey and their plan to destroy the Kurds, Israel and their plan to destroy any other muslim non-aligned country, and of these warmongers are US allies.

      It's very easy to notice that every single war happening right now is being made by the US, Nato or allies and vassals. The war in Yemen, is one of them. If what you say is right about your politicians loving poor civilians, why do they not bother with Yemen people? UK, France and US are seeling right now the weapons to destroy this country. If your people really care about democracy, why no one is saying anything about these: here or Here.

      It's only after Turkey started to see that France and Israel are pushing for a Kurdistan that they started to go against the plans to completely destroy Syria.

      What's happening right now in the middle-east has nothing to do with democracy, your politicians will never have the smallest ounce of love or sympathy for us here, all they are doing is playing war games, influence games and economic games with our lives here. Please, stop talking blood bath that could have happened, when the Iraq war alone has killed millions of innocent people and kids who never even thought to harm any of you. Have the decency to stop talking about Gaddafi and his hypothetical blood bath when one of the deadliest famine is happening right now with your weapons doing it, when people you are backing are doing it. Please stop pretending you care and stop insulting yourselves and think that your politicians and rulers have the empathy to care. All in all is: Oil, Israel and influence. Our lives have nothing to do with it, our well being has nothing to do with it.

      Americans don't really mass tour Canada for instance.

      The answer is already there. We almost have no tourism infrastructure. Very very few. And it is much much much cheaper to spend our holidays in Tunisia than it is in our own country. 15 days in Tunisia is half the price when compared with Algeria.

      @Monkey:

      How easy is it for people to legally drink in Algeria?
      And producing wine is also something Iran does so I'm not totally convinced that symbolizes anything.

      Really? No one sees you that way, if you really think Tunis is different from Casablanca or Algiers, then you really don't know what you're talking about. Have you ever been to Algeria or Morocco? I have been in all three countries for long periods of time, and they are really not different at all. Almost the same country. And Are you talking about tourist coastal cities or talking also about the inner parts where they have nothing in common with Europe? Which is the same in Algeria, Morocco, Egypt and every other islamic country.

      @Monkey:

      Interesting, so then you don't hear much of an accent difference either?
      ahaha, let me guess. Because Tunisia is more liberal than Algeria, the teenagers/college students come over the border to let loose and go nuts.
      NEVER FAILS. The kids raised by chill parents act normal, and the kids raised by the sheltered conservative parents are secret kinky alcoholics!

      No, you're wrong. Tunisia and Morocco rely heavily on tourism, where Algeria rely on natural resources (which is not good), so our country always neglected the tourism infrastructure. That's why Algerians go to Tunisia, for the language, proximity, no visas needed, and for it's cheap. Not for Alcohol, which is absolutely eveywhere in Algeria. Algeria is a very big wine producer. @Demon:

      Can you cite sources please? including Links?

      Of course, but it is in French: JeuxVideo.com In France, this equivalent to IGN. The day after Nintendo presented the "switch", they've had a convention in Paris for people to test. So the reports are based on them playing the games. Please also note, that the prices are really high for the system and accessories in Europe when compared to those for the USA.

      @Demon:

      I've heard a few things about the issue too which makes things a little different. When they make a build to show off to the public, they obviously have to modify it. Typically, they'll want to limit what the players can do or what story-related things they can trigger to avoid spoilers and the like, so they make a special build of the game for these events.

      There is a rumor that to make things easier, they basically made the one Demo build for the Wii U version for E3 2016, and that every version they've shown off for people to play in public since then has been based on the backbone of that original E3 Build, even the Switch version that just got showed off.Controller seems to be a personal preference thing tho and varies from person to person.

      The issues they are reporting are technical issues, not gameplay issues. The low resolution, the overheating of the switch when handheld, the materials used for the joy-con and their size.

      @Demon:

      Controller seems to be a personal preference thing tho and varies from person to person.

      No, the problem is actually the size. When you have big hands and/or big fingers, it will be hard.

      The system will be out in less than 2 months, we will see by then. But having big hands and big fingers, I am definitely not buying it until I fully test it and when more than 1 game is out.

There is no problem between Iran and Algeria, and Algeria proved their independence from Saudi Arabia, by refusing to go to war against the poorest country in the world (Yemen). And they also refused to make Hezbollah a terrorist group, which isn't, it's a nationalist group. And of course, we do not forget our "Black decade" with our 200.000 deaths caused by their sect.

      But do you know what isn't a sin in islam? slavery, pedophilia , rape and beating your wife.

      Plus royaliste que le roi? What's this? Rape? Pedophilia? Slavery? Even though one of the best deeds a human can do is free slaves?

      @Lord:

      I've read the quran in arabic and my conclusion is that it's a really fucked up book.

      Please read the title of the thread. And have at least the slightest sign of respect to us here. You don't like it, Ok, we got it.

      well you cant say thay are care taker when they destroy historical buildings and how they treat people in hajj

      That's the whole point. They are doing everything wrong with their "taking care" of them. They shouldn't have the right to ban all Iranians to go to do the pilgrim, yet they do. They are now destroying every historical aspect of those sacred cities and reducing them into huge shopping centers.

      Those two things do cross-over alot. For instance people who's basic points are valid, but it's coated in a layer of hateful rhetoric that distinguishes it from a simple criticism of state policy, and instead veers of into diatribes about inherent qualities. For instance people who are pro-palestine but would oppose any attempts at dialogue, negotiations or compromise because "Jews can't be trusted", the opposite of course being in play as well

      Of course, "Jews can't be trusted" is anti-Semitism.

      @wolfwood:

      So with that in mind it would make sense to assume that the anti-semitism is lesser the further away you live from Israel no?

      Assuming it to be true, places like Indonesia should be virtually free of anti-semitism, while Jordan and Egypt is (relatively) ripe with it.

      It is really more complicated than that. I think anti-Semitism like any other form or racism and exclusion is based on non-rational ideas. Hate of Israel politics and the way they are treating Palestinians is not anti-Semitism, so it is not related to distance, religion and such. It is only related to how much you seem to care about the last form of Apartheid now on earth. Likewise, I am a Sunni muslim and the countries I hate the most are Sunni countries, Qatar and Saudi Arabia. They are the countries funding terrorism and giving the ideological background to it, as well as being the last places on earth when you talk about freedom especially for women. I think people like Netanyahou and far right leaders in general are trying to remove the distinction between anti-Semitism and being critical of Israel politics.

      Hadn't heard that one before. Usually it's more they (for all muslims are of a hive mind in these kind of stories) have decided to invade and force on us their foreign traditions, and the filthy liberals are letting it happen with their bleeding hearts and tolerance. Dunno if i've ever heard the religious angle, if anything it's more common to hear people whine about how when we've finally gotten rid of large scale, public, christianity and judaism and now here comes islam to rain on the non-religious parade. But then again i'm from the north, the Italians and southerners are probably playing up the other angle more.

      Yeah, It was in France. What they were actually saying is that God is avenging what happened to the Jews in Europe during WW II by using muslims who were also called "a plague" and that it was a fair punishment. A lot of people were shocked hearing these ideas. This an example only, I am not promoting neither the idea nor implying that all Rabbis think this. Crazy people are everywhere.

      @RoboBlue:

      Thank you for responding. Unfortunately… that was the response I was expecting, and "God condemned the Hebrews, not Muhammed" isn't very reassuring.

      He didn't condemn the Hebrews, he condemned a lot of groups including Hebrews. I followed a lot of conferences and courses of some Rabbis, and they call us muslims (Ismael's descendants) "Gog and Magog" and we are also condemned. Some say that muslims are God's punishment for Christians, especially in Europe. It is true to the 3 religions to exclude, doom and condemn the others. But I always understood it as God's judgment, not humans to deal with.

      @RoboBlue:

      In addition, I think it's safe to say that the editorial decision to almost completely exclude the writings of the Hebrew prophets from the Quran was made by humans.

      I think, you got the wrong idea about Quran. It includes all the previous prophets including the Hebrew of course. A lot of our understanding of Prophets lives are taken form the Hebrew tradition, because the Quran doesn't expand a lot on them.

      @RoboBlue:

      …was made by humans.

      Modified by humans, not made.

      @RoboBlue:

      The modern hatred some middle-eastern Muslims have for Jews is generally rooted in religion, not race.

      No, you're wrong. You are dismissing the peaceful cohabitation of Jews, Christians and Muslims in north Africa until today. Where Jews and Arabs have the same exact culture, music, cooking. The only special case is my country "Algeria", where things got bad when the Jews chose colonial France over Algeria during the liberation war. But this has nothing to do with religion, it is a political difference. As Monkey King mentioned, people seem to forget that until last century all 3 religious groups were living peacefully with each other in almost all Middle-east and north Africa. It is the Palestine/Israel conflict that made things toxic.

      @Lord:

      Maybe sub-humans was an exageration

      Let me remind you what you said:

      It's disturbing because islam calls jews cursed evil sub-humans.

      You said islam calls them sub-humans. And in my life, I have never heard of any sub-human group in my religion.

      @Lord:

      but have you really never heard people say that jews are cursed by allah

      That is true, and as I said it, in every "holy" book all people are doomed/cursed/going to hell except the ones who received that book. And in the case of islam, we consider the Quran as the word of God, so them being cursed, is not our judgment, but God's alone and we are not as simple human beings, allowed to apply or make that judgment. And they are not the only ones who God in Quran judged and/or cursed, a lot of other groups including muslims, but as a creator, it is his role, we are not here to make the same judgments and if somebody fails to make the difference between his own ass and God, then he is the problem.

      @Lord:

      people using 'yahoodi' as an insult synonymes with immoral/evil?

      True, and it is some nasty, bad habit and I see it a lot here in my country. But this is not Islam, this is us.

      @Lord:

      And i don't think Mohammed acually beleived that jews were bad he just said that because they were his enemies at the time.

      At least we know that, and that's the difference between Islam and now us muslims.

      @Lord:

      Also i don't believe that all muslims hate jews.

      Of course not, and it is wrong if it is the case. You don't go on hating groups of people based on their religion, sexual orientation, color, wealth and so on. That is wrong. Point.
      We are only humans meant to live with other humans, we are not here to make judgments, we are not gods.

      @Lord:

      I also know that there are different interpretation of islam, but the problem is that the jew-hating interpretation is very popular and is suppoerted by a lot of evidence and imams.

      This is also because of the "Palestine/Israel" problem. But you seem to focus only on one side of the hate. I'll let you do some search on how much Muslims are now hated around the world. I'll let you do some search about how part of the Israeli people nurture the hate toward arabs/muslims. And these kind of sentiments are now pushed by politicians and leaders for their own agenda, which makes the things worse, but this is not exclusive to one specific human group.

      @Lord:

      …imams.

      And where is it said that we must follow imams, let alone fools who call for hate. I don't know if it is a good or bad thing but Sunni branch has no obligation to follow anyone, there is no hierarchy.

      And allow me to give this verse (49:13) from the Quran to remind you that we are meant to live with other humans and let the judging to the creator:

      O mankind, indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another. Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you. Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted.

      @hosemisnuba:

      How is Muhammad an ideal human being exactly? Maybe I got my history mucked up, but didn't he lead war campaigns to force Islam on nonbelievers and what not? As an agnostic, the only religious prophet that seems ideal is Buddha, but that's just me.

      Here is his description in the Quran 3:144

      Muhammad is no more than a Messenger, and indeed (many) Messengers have passed away before him. If he dies or is killed, will you then turn back on your heels (as disbelievers)? And he who turns back on his heels, not the least harm will he do to Allah, and Allah will give reward to those who are grateful.

      He is a messenger from many others. Being an ideal being not is every aspect of life, but in behavior, kindness, courage…

      @hosemisnuba:

      but didn't he lead war campaigns to force Islam on nonbelievers and what not?

      More the opposite though. He was thrown out of his home along with his followers, they were persecuted, with many assassination attempts and after some years, some battles issued and ultimately lead to him winning.

      –- Update From New Post Merge ---

      @RoboBlue:

      It gave me the impression that Muhammed was being intentionally disrespectful towards his predecessors, which really disturbed me.

      Here is what the muslims are asked to believe 2:285 :

      The Messenger (Muhammed) has believed in what was revealed to him from his Lord, as did the believers. They all have believed in God, and His angels, and His scriptures, and His messengers: "We make no distinction between any of His messengers." And they say, "We hear and we obey. Your forgiveness, our Lord. To you is the destiny."

      What you are referring to are quran words about the people and followers not the predecessors and as I said, that judgment must be thought of as God's alone, muslims cannot make those judgments.

      Sub-humans? really? I have never heard of such a thing before, and I am a 42 year old Sunni muslim. As for cursed or not, every "holy" book treats the others as the lost/cursed/doomed… To some people, there is a big difference between a Jew and a Goy, and it is really not cool at all. As Monkey King said it many times, it comes with the whole package, bad ideas, bad people related to the said religion and so on… To hitler and his supporters today, jews, blacks, latins and muslims are also sub-human, what does it mean to you?
      If they are sub-human as you said it, how come even the prophet had treaties with them. In the Andalous period and in a lot of other dynaties, jews were given the highest official and goverment positions? Sub-human? are you sure you are talking about Islam?

      Oh I haven't seen the Hollywood map yet, should really go into quickplay to check it out…

      You'll simply love it. They made a wonderful job with it. I am not gonna say more, I want you to see it and get the full surprise. But I don't know if it's the only map that changed, I think King's Row also changed, but I did get the chance to play it.

      @BatrozX:

      I'm having way too much fun playing the coop Brawl. A couple of friends and I managed to beat it in medium difficulty yesterday after like 8 tries. It's REALLY challenging, must be really hard playing it with random people. So fun though.

      The brawl is sooooo much fun and fresh, but only succeeded in easy difficulty.

      @BatrozX:

      And yes Mercy's skin is to die for! Love it when I boot up the game and she appears on the background of the main menu.

      Agree. Now that I am also enjoying the Junkenstein's skin details as well since Junk rat is my preferred and main hero.

      @BatrozX:

      I went ahead and bought 24 lootboxes. Managed to get the Halloween skins for Roadhog, Reinhardt, Symmetra and Zenyatta. Also got Mei's highlight. Plan to keep playing to get more lootboxes and if by the end of the event I don't have all the stuff I want I'll try to buy it with currency or if push comes to shove buy a couple more lootboxes.

      I couldn't wait, I bought 50 loot boxes, now I am only missing Hanzo's undead skin. I got all the others: Ana, Ferrah, Junkrat, Reinhardt, Roadhog, Symmetra, Zenatta, Mercy and Reaper. I got all highlight intros and emotes related to this Halloween event. I am missing some "trick or treat" sprays.

      ! I mainly think it's Dr. Alchemy since the word Alchemy was being spelled on the mirror and I did a quick google on what possible villain they're alluding to. I have no knowledge on most Flash villains so I had no idea who he was. But Mirror Master I do know, and I would love to see him on the show sometime soon anyway!

      ! Oh, I did not look into it, thanks for the info. I have no idea about Dr. Alchemy, I thnink I've never heard of him, I only hope, we are done with speedster villains.
