Can I ask, why has One Pace chosen to use newer iterations of certain scenes instead of the originals? Sorry if I haven't researched this enough but I checked the first episode of One Pace of Romance Dawn and noticed the scenes were not from the original airing, but from the Romance Dawn OVA I believe. Is this something One Pace plans on doing at other times, for instance using Alabasta or Drum Island scenes from their respective movies? Because I grew up on the original anime, I much prefer the originals to their updated versions. But, that's just me =]

great episode. enjoyed there only being two people. quick and succinct. felt like the old days.

im disappointed at how the mangas being drawn right now. i think it just looks a level below what it was before the time skip. not a big deal but i feel it affects me subconsciously

or maybe i just can't get over how nice it looked during skypiea =D

im getting used to frankys design. but itll take me more time to get used to nami's. she just doesnt seem young and vibrant anymore. i miss the cuteness, i dont want sexy

If the strawhats ever found a devil fruit how do you think it'd play out? Would someone want to gain a power? Would they get rid of it? Or will Luffy just eat it?
Would Ussop want it to become stronger or is he confident in himself now and wouldn't want it? If he tried to take it would Luffy yell at him like he did in Sabaody when he wanted to learn about One Piece?

Ed: do you really think that Oda having Sabo on the cover is proof that he'll be in the story now? The cover makes no logical sense so it can't be taken seriously and why would Oda ruin the character design of grown-up Sabo in a cover page? I think it's more proof that he's dead =o

What I liked about the podcast is what it used to be. I liked having few segments that got to the point. I may be alone here but I liked hearing the news, recaps, and not much more. I don't really listen to podcasts so maybe this isn't how they are usually done; people always need to put personality into it. I guess I was just looking for a podcast that was very plain. But now I think it's too much with lots of hosts/guests, segments I don't care about, and jokes that I don't laugh at. But tons of people like the podcast so don't mind me. I'm just not enjoying it anymore.

It was a little sad. But Akainu's awesome.

However, in this week's Bleach, it was hilarious.

of course it was heart-wrenching, Oda really did shock many and did it well.

I don't read Bleach but that picture is funny and looks like every other manga panel i've seen from that manga the manga is all shockfaces and screaming, sigh

Seriously Oda, seriously??!! After all that Luffy has gone through?! My God, this chapter has made me more pissed off then I have ever been, Akainu is now my most hated character and anyone who likes him after this chapter is just not human, how will Luffy even have any will to go on anymore now that Ace is dead? This chapter has just made me sad, and nothing else, Oda better have a damn good reason for doing this, now don't get me wrong, I still love Oda, I'm just pissed off at him right now along with many other Ace fans.

people need to realize that what Oda did was necessary. luffy's not going to get his way every time and just because you like a character doesn't mean he's going to win in the end. ace had to die, and now luffy will grow and the world will change

that beach house you were talking about was the 10th anniversary shindig for one piece. it was in kamakura and was right on the beach. i went and it was pretty good but small. they basically had the thousand sunny, all the strawhats lifesize…i think, and a store and kitchen pumping out food. i bought a few things of merchandise, got some of sanji's food, and took some pictures with the strawhats. sadly, there wasn't much more else to do there. i did get a sunburn though =\

and zach, the panel with whitebeard stopping the ship with one hand is reminiscent of nightmare luffy stopping Oz's punch with one hand. Also wanted to mention that when Garp jumped onto the bridge up to Ace that Luffy was running on, that panel looked a lot like back in Impel Down when Magellan jumped down in front of Luffy and Bon Clay.
