Some of you guys don't seem to get that Kaido isn't here for your narrative arc. He's reacting realistically.
He got word that Luffy is in Wano. Luffy who he knows is trying to undermine and dethrone him. And his very presence in Kaido's country is causing the likes of Big Mom to pay a visit.

And instead of sitting on his ass while events unfold; Kaido, being the strongest living creature, flies out to Luffy's last known location to solve all his problems.
Why? Because that's Logically how Kaido would respond it's not like he has anything better to do. Wouldn't it be a tad out of character/unrealistic for a guy so frustrated with Luffy and company playing these little pirate games to just sit back and let him do what he wants in his territory.

Am I the only one who felt like they were reading some sort of Parody chapter at the end??

As I slowly realized exactly what I was seeing on the last page I dropped my phone and couldn't do anything but laugh to myself and ask "What?" over and over.

Well it's been 20 long years of greatness but it looks like the journey of the Strawhats has come to an end.
I'm looking forward to seeing the epilogue chapter in the next two weeks.

After looking at this Chapter again I really like Snakemans redirectional offense. The quick lock-on style all the punches have reminds me of Darkseid and his Omega Beams and Luffy even picks up some of the over confidence such a villainous attack would entail. He kept telling Katakuri it was no use trying to avoid his attacks.

I can really appreciate the strategy behind Luffy making Katakuri jump through extra hoops to avoid getting hit by the Pythons against a lesser opponent I'd imagine a technique that just leads to a stronger faster follow up attack if it misses would seem unstoppable.
I feel like it's lost on people just how OP this is; it's like playing a fighting game and whenever your opponent whiffs their attack they are rewarded with a faster stronger attack and if they whiff THAT attack then they're rewarded… etc. It's a great way for Luffy to force Katakuri to stop dodging like he likes to do so much and either block or counter attack before the pythons can pick up speed.
This makes Kata look all the stronger for adapting so quickly but he's still forced to take a lot more hits than he usually has any business to.
It's good too see Luffy fighting smarter not harder although he seems frustrated that Katakuri didn't just rollover and die to his initial barrage of jet culverin.

I guess we'll find out in 2 weeks how far Katakuri's ingenuity will take him.

Epic Chapter

This Translation was just bad enough to be comical cracked up a bit at the WTF's and STFU's.
About this last few pages are we sure Luffy was distracted it looked to me like Luffy sensed the oncoming pain from Katakuri's next attack and tried to avoid the future where he gets hit by it.
I'll have to reread when a better scan drops though.

Pudding hurt my feelings this chapter:sad:. Sanji needs to tip off Papa Vinsmoke if he wants a chance at survival I'm sure he will what kind of a fool would plan to die?

Soul King Brook standing up to a Yonkou that most enemy pirates don't even get to see like a badass! I love the panel with Big Mom using Prometheus and Zeus. And the disrespect from Brook scolding a Yonkou like he would a naive teenager was highlight of the chapter.

OMG Commander Smoothie is bae! I'd let her sit on my face and I'm not even in to that sort of thing…

A-hem That discretion withstanding this was a great chapter King Baum met with a terrible fate Amande is a scary lady.

In his weakened state Luffy couldn't do much more than take out fodder Big Mom's army is crazy. Big Mom herself seems more or less reasonable but I don't see that being much help seeing the conflict of interest between her and Luffy.

Brook and Pedro trying to turn this whole thing around at the end was epic Brook is finally going to get some spotlight post TS. Too bad about Bobbin not getting a showcase.

The big difference between Sanji and Robin/Nami's situation is they didn't believe in Luffy.

In Nami's case she was legitimately betraying them for their money. She didn't believe in Luffy because she had her own plans and never really allied herself with the Strawhats.

Robin on the other hand was looking out for the Strawhats and didn't want them to get crushed by the WG and CP9 for her sake. She didn't believe Luffy and co. could take on the WG and tried to spare them.

Sanji however is in a situation where the things he cares most about are at stake regardless of how much he believes in Luffy it won't stop his hands getting blown off or Big Mom's omniscient assassins killing Zeff. He's not doing this to protect Luffy and co he knows they could escape but it's not worth the price he'd have to pay if he does.

Judge is a pretty interesting character seeing as his problem with Sanji is him being a failure and he is frustrated with that fact. He originally told Sanji to just train harder and keep up regardless. And after realising that wasn't going to work was going to keep him locked up and fed because he couldn't bring himself to kill his own son or even leave him somewhere to die.

Hell, despite how much of an obstinate Jack Ass he is Judge couldn't even abandon Sanji until Sanji said he wanted to leave on his own. I'd be interested to see more about Judge and Sanji at this Brunch with Big Mom.

Great Chapter. I guess Cracker's getting the MMO Raid Boss treatment Luffy goes in with Gear 4 Fights Cracker until he times out and then Nami holds Cracker off during Luffy's 10 minute cooldown time. Luffy runs away for 10 minutes and eats fallen Cracker soldiers to recover stamina and then gets back in there once he has access to Gear 4 again. And they've been rinsing and repeating this for 11 hours. Luffy is sure that as long as he has those fallen Cracker soldiers to eat he can keep this going indefinitely and eventually wear Cracker down.
So with Luffy using the Crackers as food I wouldn't say he's in the category of fighting for days just yet since he's talking out time to rest. Luffy better find a quicker way of dealing with Cracker if he wants to help Sanji in time.

i don't get why people are saying that cracker admitting that he doesn't like pain was such a mistake..it's not like luffy's strategy changes because of that…his option was always "punch him really,really hard",it doesn't really matter if he likes it or not

Wonderful Chapter it looks like Burgess wasn't taken out for no reason after all Uiihahahaha!!!! It's good to finally see the Pirate Dispatch Organization at work. Dragons meetings with the leaders of the Rev army sounds pretty hype. I felt the exchange between Kanjuro and Kinemon was strange after Kanjuro drew the Dragon and I can't wait to see that ninja character.

Manga panda had the superior translation to Manga stream like they often do when they aren't using dyslexic monkeys to do their translation.

An excellent chapter this week MangaPanda really stepped it up this week I'm probably not even going to bother with Manga Stream except to get a better look at those silhouettes. Jack believes he can take on Issho, Sengoku, and Tsuru consider me hyped. New bounties!!! Luffy officially 500 mill! Usopp is finally recognized world wide!! After seing this chapter one phrase resonates threw my mind… Eat shit! Eat shit everybody who swore luffy was just going to flounder his way into becoming Pirate King with a crew of 10 people. Eat shit Sawyer and anyone who considered the Gladiators unimportant fodder! I've been waiting for a moment like this almost since I started reading One Piece in 2001 and it's finally here. I've been hype about this ever since the concept of Yonkou and division commanders were introduced Luffy is finally taking real steps toward becoming Pirate King.

This was a pretty decent chapter good to see luffy getting some recognition in the new world for defeating doflamingo. The most hype part of the chapter though was the return of the Legendary Meadows doflamingo is in serious trouble now and so is Burgess.

Only one piece can have such an amazing chapter still look good with that abhorrent abortion of a translation via manga Panda I threw in the towel when I saw Grizzly Magnum translated as Gigant Pistol and tried to find a Manga Stream version to no avail but I lost my shit at Gear 4. I was under impression there was no chapter this week so this was more than a pleasant surprise. Good show.

This day just gets better and better though it's quite a shame Darth couldn't get it together I felt such joy seeing Kirks name slashed out signifying his ban. That guy did nothing but post trash and I'm glad we will no longer have to endure his rancid shit posts any longer. May he burn in forum hell.

He stopped before, while Aokiji cames behind him, and after that get frozen instantanely. We knows that he's not a coward, but he avoid conflict with high level power guys to get to the top. He only attack seriously when there isn't another issue.
For Luffy's case that's more complex i imagine, or perhaps it's just because he kind of ignore him.

He tried to kill Smoker right in front of Aokiji after he told him to stop. I don't think Doffy is that adept when it comes to avoiding conflicts, at least when it involves not hurting someone

I also think the same thing. Perhaps because he keeps distance because he's Dragon son and DD don't want to have a meet with him (it's not unprobable that he truely knows Dragon by the past and he don't want to have a deal with, the same way he does with avoiding Kuzan)
I'm a bit curious about if he knows or not that Dressrosa's country was a potentinal target for the Revolutionnary Army… But RA are also unpredictable, who's knows were they going to attack...

I don't know if Doffy would have kept his hands off of Luffy just because he wanted to avoid Dragon. This is the same guy who tried to kill Smoker right in Aokiji's face even though he wanted to avoid conflict with him. I don't think Doffy's techniques for conflict avoidance include not harming the people you care about.

If fucking Bepo and some unnamed guys from Kid's crew can resist Rayleigh's CoC pre-timeskip, I have no reason to believe Bellamy can't resist Luffy's, which is said to be only half as strong as Rayleigh's according to a SBS. I don't know if Bellamy's current health affects his resistance, but I guess that could be feasible.

Luffy will probably tank the punches until Bellamy knocks himself out from fatigue. I think that would work better for drama (and to delay Luffy).

I also don't see why we need to see Luffy surpass Bellamy's determination. That's something that should be done when he faces Doula Mongo himself, IMO.

Yea… I don't know if this has already been brought up already but Bepo and Kidd Pirate fodders didn't realy tank Rayleighs CoC blast either Oda or Rayleigh himself metion several times when you learn to control CoC you can target and choose who you want to knock out. Excuse me if this has already been addressed, didn't feel like checking.

IMO Ideo hasn't displayed enough named attacks and here's his chance to reveal his Megaton Left Hook/Uppercut/BodyBlow/Jab/Haymaker that he has used to fell many of his opponents in the New World Fighting Club V2 ring.

I'm sure Ideo and his New World Fighting Club will be relevant and brought up in the future. I was sure since he first showed up in the tournament. So I would be disappointed if he didn't get his character expounded upon in some way. Also I don't think from what we seen Dellinger is just going to take Ideo out he's pretty strong. I'm hoping for a Big O-esque K.O for Dellinger.
