The Gorosei said that the gomu gomu no mi had another name, they didn't talk about a real name. At this point to there's absolutely no reason to believe that Luffy doesn't have the gomu gomu no mi, the Gorosei just revealed that there was a hidden side to it.

Talking about King's skin tone, the entire cover feels pale in general, from the reveal to the official.

With the red hawk talk, I honestly feel that there is no explanation to it, it's just a classic I thought this looked cool Oda moment. I even checked again, chapter 644, Luffy uses it against Hody underwater which should make zero sense.

I still need a solid explanation as to why Luffy actually awakened and if he actually died or not (I assume not since he wasn't smiling).

I guess we can also all agree that the whole SMILE plotline we've had for the last decade is going to be tied to Luffy's devil fruit in particular. Maybe Vegapunk knows about it and was trying to recreate in particular? I can't believe Oda promised us Vegapunk would explain what devil fruits are back in SBS volume 48.

Wow, this naruto chapter seems like terrible fanfiction. I knew that the end would be shit but this still raised the bar with deus ex machinae and asspulls everywhere.

Be careful about that Devil fruits take x time to reappear. That was only stated in romance dawn v1 and it doesn't hold for the story now.

Talking about those, it really feels like early grand line the way that Oda is showing how crazy the new world's seas are. That was an aspect that I really felt was missing about Paradise, not nearly enough ways to show how crazy and terrifiying the grand line was imo.

Are Kuzan and Smoker related? Or is it a translation error?

In the japanese version he says おっとっと、ゴメンよ and the おっとっと part sounds like little brother (おとうと). But it really just means whoops which makes sense when you see him ring the bell and the sort of seagull in front of him. So yeah it's most likely a translation error. Not 100% sure though.

I just have to say that shit is really starting to go down. I loved this chapter, Kuzan, the crew interaction, Kinemon acknowledging Shuusui and just everything that's going in the One Piece World. If Stephen said that chapter 700 is going to make us jizz our pants then I wholeheartedly believe him!

As many people I actually enjoyed the first half of the chapter untill well, you know….

One thing I really don't understand is if Kishimoto actually cares about his manga anymore. I mean the gag moments really underplay the "serious" moments and make me feel like I'm reading something like beelzebub (much better by the way). On the other side the whole bullshit about love and the edo tensei shenanigans make it seem that he actually understands how retarded his whole story is. He should have really called the second part Naruto The Uchiha chronicles, Sasuke's sort of conflicted emotions while hearing sarutobi were just pointless. He knows that it's true. For a guy who really doesn't give a shit about the story anymore, kishi sure is taking his time to finish the manga.

How would other people fit in with Kizaru?

Akainu, Aokiji, and Kizaru only work when they are together or separate. They are all based on the Momotaro Legend, are all the same height, all have a face based on an actor, all have a specific color, all have Logias etc.

It wouldn't work if Kizaru was with other random guys that don't fit in with his theme. It would be awkward and not make sense, that's why the former Admirals are all split up, because they only look right when they are together or separate.

Also, it would be an ass-pull if Oda made a random character that is Admiral level, and it won't happen because this isn't Bleach.

Those two spots that Akainu and Aokiji left are going to Smoker and Coby in the future, how more obvious could that be?

I don't think so to be honest. I mean, most marines are probably marines because they think pirates are bad and want to protect innocents from them. They heard of pirates destroying towns, raiding villages, killing people and so on. They don't necessarily need Sakazuki to think of them as scums.
Remember T-Bone and his really extreme views on justice and all? How he said that the pirates/criminals (referring to the Sh crew and Franky's bros) were going to "taint" the root of justice that is Enies Lobby? I don't think he got the idea from Sakazuki.

I guess, but the G5 marines don't seem to be the regular type of marines especially when they first presented. Which is why I don't really understand why they have that pirates are evil views.

I just realized that the marines' really straightforward attitude of "pirates are scum" comes from Akainu's justice being implemented in them. So while I understand that it's getting pretty stretched out, it's Oda's sort of thing.
Also Kizaru isn't the only admiral left, no mistake here, there's no point about being so adamant about that, it makes no sense.

But Vibration is a force of the universe. Compare it to Light which really isn't a force but Energy. Hence why I say that If Oda can Add Light then Vibration is shouldn't be excluded.
